Zeb update, Slater note, more from Punk, assorted WWE press, Interviews with Dolph/Dixie, NXT name booked for TV tapings, GFW update, note on next week's Superstars, and Questions on Punk (of course), MMA in TNA, the Attitude Era, and Vince on Austin's podcast

Zeb Colter posted about a surgery on his Twitter, likely to sell the angle of him being injured. Zeb's amazing. He definitely belongs in the Hall of Fame for all his work over the years.

Heath Slater responded to the lawsuit against him. I don't intend to cover this case all the way through, but thought it should be noted WWE and Slater have addressed it.

The Miz, Cameron, Eva Marie, and Darren Young filmed an appearance on "Hell's Kitchen". When will we see Young back in the ring? Is he just someone they use for PR purposes now?

NXT and Superstars Reax - 12/4/14

Read on for my thoughts on last night's NXT and Superstars.

Interviews with Angle/Dixie, more on part-timers in WWE, assorted WWE press and notes, Cena pushes locker room, Raw audience, and Questions on pushing Reigns, shaking up Survivor Series, the end of WCW, and Punk leaving

Vince Russo talked to Kurt Angle on his amusingly named podcast, The Swerve. Here are highlights:
- We all know Hulk's all about what's best for the Hulkster, jack. Sting and Angle needed to step aside and let Hogan and Easy E run the ship (into an iceberg).

- Russo might be considered one of those critics Vince McMahon doesn't listen to.

Paul Heyman's client BROCK LESNAR is officially being advertised for WrestleMania 31 and the Raw after. Could that Raw be his last night in the company?

Chris Jericho has been added to WWE live events in Canada, on Jan. 31, Feb. 1, and Feb. 28. Whether he's coming back for a real run or just a few dates is up in the air at this point.

Main Event Reax - 12/2/14, WWE nickname official, Raw cameo, Jarrett on WWF departure, Brock updates, more on Sheik documentary, Interview with Aries, Reigns update, Smackdown audience, TLC matches, and Questions on WCW contracts, the WWE locker room banding together, bringing back The Authority, The Monday Night War, and pushing Rowan

Main Event:
I liked Swagger vs. Titus. Swagger's really getting in a groove lately, and Titus fills his role well.

I really liked the post-match promo. It's probably too soon to beat Rusev, but Swagger has really impressed me as someone with the potential to be U.S. Champion.

The tag match was good enough. I'm not crazy about The Bunny as a gimmick, but everyone here did good work.

Solid Usos promo. They're pretty good.

Nice match between Truth and Fandango. I think Fandango's got something worth developing. Truth remains a solid veteran act.

A "stairs match" should be pretty interesting. Honestly, they could probably use a stipulation to make Rowan vs. Show a good match.

Nice pre-match. Miz is a good heel, for sure.

I think the Mizdow stuff is starting to run a little thin, but overall I really liked this match. TLC's being set up to be a really good PPV.

Austin interviews McMahon, NXT lineup, more Punk fallout, and Questions on Punk's podcast, getting the Network from the App, indie names on the main roster, and Austin interviewing McMahon

WWE.com talked to Stone Cold ahead of his podcast with Vince McMahon. Good teaser. I like that he more or less no-sold Hogan's politicking.

Update: Austin talked to Rolling Stone as well. I definitely want to hear Taker's thoughts on the streak ending and other career highlights once he hangs up the boots. He's earned the right to be a family man and appear out-of-character.

As for people not taking the ball, I think that's less true now. Some people are really going all out when they have a chance (Ambrose, Wyatt, Rollins, and Ziggler come to mind). But I would like to see people let loose more and have more time to show their characters. I see this more as

Survivor Series DVD cover, TNA tapings update, and Questions on Punk's podcast, The Authority in real life, and NDAs

Here's the cover for the DVD for this year's Survivor Series. I like it. I wonder if it's set to entice people shopping who didn't know Sting was at the event.

All three UK dates for TNA in January will be TV tapings. I'm not hugely surprised, although I wonder what this means for potential future One Night Only events. I also wonder which British Boot Camp 2 people will end up joining the roster full-time, and whether we'll see the likes of Kurt Angle and the Hardys as they're not advertised. I think they could be saving the reveal of Angle for a later date to push ticket sales, but who knows with TNA. I don't know if Jeff Hardy can work the UK given his record, but Matt might be in the clear.
