Damien Sandow has taken some time off from WWE due to a death in his family. I wish him the best. Presumably we'll see him back shortly. I expect he'll be in the Andre battle royal again at WM32.
Former TNA wrestler Joey Ryan proposed to his girlfriend in the ring during a wrestling event. Despite the fact she's a wrestler, too, this marks a legitimate engagement. That's pretty cool! Do they get married in the ring, too?
Charlotte talked about her road to WWE. I'm glad Laurinaitis sparked her wanting to come to WWE. She's been a really good wrestler.
Former WWE and TNA developmental territory OVW was profiled. I like the Shakespeare comparisons. I don't think many people would make those.
Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
- Cena updated his status while on-hand for the Daytona 500. It's going to be a close call for him. Cena vs. Taker would be HUGE, but it's by no means a sure thing. Cena's got to think long-term.
The Wyatt Family cut a promo during Smackdown that didn't make air. It was odd to not have their match promoted on that show.
Some notes from NXT's Florida live event Saturday night:
- Dana Brooke returned to the ring in a tag match with Emma. They beat Aaliyah and Tough Enough's Sara Lee. I'm glad Dana's back. She was improving as a wrestler when we last saw her.
- Tough Enough's Patrick Clark lost.
- Mojo Rawley wasn't there, so Zack Ryder beat Blake in a singles match.
WWE has announced the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura following successful medical tests and so on. He will start with NXT at Takeover:Dallas, the night before WM32.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There's been no word on Rock vs. Taker happening. Or Rock vs. anyone for that matter. It'd be an interesting match given how they're both WWE icons, though I'd agree it'd probably be better for them to be in other matches.

2. The site is made to work better on mobile devices. It's in line with what other major sites are doing, and makes the content more accessible and shareable.
3. Styles definitely needed to show he could hang with the aging great. Jericho's an all-time solid competitor, but Styles is the guy who's part of the future they need to build. As for a burial, unless they turn his gimmick into Jimmy Wang Yang and/or he's predominantly on Main Event/Superstars, I don't think that's what's happening. People need to keep their expectations reasonable. It's like they're just waiting to call "burial" instead of seeing how he's actually being used.
4. Thank goodness we get a voice of reason for once. I think the "Vince buried Bryan" people are already pretty far gone in that mindset to realize how much Vince actually did for someone he didn't initially believe in, and was the opposite of what Vince had been pushing for decades.
Nothing to add to 5.
More wrestling tomorrow.
