Royal Rumble will air in Australian movie theaters.
Raw has announced an April 18 live event in Georgia.
Friday Night Smackdown drew 2.47 million viewers this week. Not a huge drop from last week.
Walter promoted Worlds Collide with ESPN. I definitely want to see him face Raw and Smackdown names at some point.
David Arquette talked wrestling at Sundance Film Festival.
After Worlds Collide, Triple H and Shawn Michaels did an interview, recapped here:
- I'm definitely good with more in the line of this event to shake things up for everyone.
- Ha. I'm curious how much NXT involvement we'll see in the Rumbles.
- Sounds like we could have a surprise at Portland as far as the top title match.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I could see it happening. I think I'd rather them induct rivalries/feuds rather than specific matches, though. If not Savage vs. Steamboat, Hogan vs. Andre would make sense.
2. There's a very small chance of it happening at WrestleMania, and not a great chance of it happening anywhere else. It's all up to whether Sting will be medically cleared for such an endeavor.
3. There is no indication that he's preparing for a wrestling return. Any preparation to get back in the ring would follow a signed contract to do so, which would come at a pretty steep price.
Nothing to add to 4.
5. Either the athletic commission didn't know, didn't care, or doesn't regulate wrestling.
More wrestling tomorrow.
