AXXESS photos, more on Legends Night, Interviews with Carlito+Hardy/Bryan/Pearce/Foley/HHH/Flair, Magnus doing TV, more on Mania, new WWE hire, former TNA Champions leaving?, Cena update, and Questions on a Mil Mascaras DVD and Shane O'Mac

This link has a lot of pictures from AXXESS. Some really good pictures there! Cool that AJ and Daniel Bryan are in the spotlight like that. Also, some NXT stars got to show what they can do.

Here are details on the Miami Marlins Wrestling Legends night.

Carlito and Matt Hardy talked about an indie show. I wouldn't mind seeing them wrestle again.

Magnus is scheduled to film "U.K.'s Strongest Man" this week, which will air on Challenge TV (like TNA's shows).

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Philadelphia might hold WrestleMania 32 if they don't get WM31. I wonder if we'll get any kind of ECW throwback at a Philly Mania?

Update: A Philly paper talked about the story.

Morkeith Brown chose to go to WWE over the Tampa Bay Bucs. That's awesome! I hope he does good things for the company.

Daniel Bryan talked about having a passion for wrestling, experience, and more. Very good interview from someone who knows what he's talking about.

Adam Pearce talked about TNA and more. I'm under the impression that Gut Check and Open Fight Night are things of the past. OFN was kind of gimmicky for my tastes. I prefer the "PPV on free TV" idea they're going for now. And I can definitely understand why they cut Gut Check with their budget issues. I wouldn't mind some new talented performers joining the roster, though.

AJ Styles' TNA contract is coming up in September, and he's open to his options outside of the company (including WWE). That's raising some red flags with me. TNA's really in trouble if they can't come to terms with one of their top homegrown talents. He's held every male title that TNA has, including being a former 4-time NWA/TNA World Champion. Obviously the fate of one talent isn't going to sink TNA, but he's a pretty valuable cog in the machine. I do want to see how he'd do in WWE, since he's faced just about everyone of note in TNA, but is it worth the damage that would do to TNA?

Update: Styles and TNA have been in talks for a while now. It basically comes down to money. Styles has given 11 years to TNA, and he doesn't want to take a pay cut. TNA doesn't have unlimited resources unfortunately. This is a REALLY tough decision. Mr. Anderson and Devon are also "on the bubble" - the latter will be leaving "for real" in the next month or two. Man. TNA's in a tough spot. They will be bringing in some new stars, though, so maybe it's one of those "one door closes, one door opens" scenarios.

C.M. Punk going after the fan on Raw was not a scripted part of the show. Punk wasn't in a good mood at the taping, and that probably boiled over there.

Mick Foley talked to Arda Ocal RIGHT THERE at the WWE2K14 press conference. I imagine we'll be seeing him again when Saturday Morning Slam returns next month.

Hulk Hogan and Tornoto mayor Rob Ford will be arm-wrestling to get both publicity. Maybe TNA can fire him and he'll get a job in politics.

Triple H talked about his current job in WWE, working with Stephanie and Vince, and more. I love that there are annotations. He's a really driven guy. Very cool to look inside Creative. I do think too many people in the industry care too much what the "dirt sheets" think - if they're making money for themselves and the company, they're doing their jobs right. And some fans care way too much about showing off how much insider knowledge they have. As for Punk, it was an ad-libbed work with a lot of shoot feelings. I also think he's dead on about the run-down of a show. And about hardcore bumps.... And about indie guys. And egos.  And characters being interesting. I got a good laugh about the IC Title joke. One of the best interviews I've read in a long time.

John Cena talked to WWE.com about his surgery and recovery. That was a good little story to put things over.

Ric Flair commented on the video game conference from hell. I think people are going to remember that for years to come.

TNA has released SoCal Val, who commented on Twitter. I honestly can't really complain. Was her role THAT valuable to the company?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. You want lucha libres, whatever you call them? Go to Japan! Seriously, I don't know how well that would sell. Ultimately, that's what WWE cares about.

2. I doubt Shane's coming back. I'm pretty sure he's happy doing what he's doing now.

Nothing to add to 3, 4, or 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
