Detroit will not be hosting WrestleMania 32. This fits in with decades of Detroit seemingly actively seeking ways to get people to not come to Detroit.

Shawn Michaels made a big appearance in Virginia. I still mark out for his theme music.

Update: here's a report from the Q&A. Some of those ribs are really over-the-top. Great insight about becoming a wrestler, though.

Here's another piece on Ted DiBiase, Jr. leaving WWE for his new career. Sounds like he's got his head in the right place.

RVD talked ahead of a WWE live event. Also in that interview was RVD's biggest fan, RVD.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Kaitlyn talked about Total Divas, Cody Rhodes' mustache, and more. She's a riot.

Saints Row IV has a take-off of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's "They Live" scene. Looks pretty funny.

Jeff Hardy is featured on the poster of TNA Bound For Glory. I really hope that's not foreshadowing that we're getting Hardy vs. Bully Ray for the Title there. I don't dislike Hardy. I'm just ready for someone new to be in the main event picture (for longer than a month).

Here's a piece on a recent TNA live event. I could have gone to one of those a few weeks ago, but the card wasn't all that appealing. There are some great talents in TNA, and then there are some people I wouldn't pay to see (ODB, Eric Young, etc.).

Here's the poster for WWE Battleground, featuring a guy who at one point was considered a big deal in WWE but who has really stalled the last couple of months.

Brodus Clay talked "Total Divas" and more. That show...

WWE looked at their 30 greatest action figures. They made an Aldo Montoya reference, so it's worth checking out for that alone. I miss Kurt Angle's goofy babyface character from WWF. I hope Bo Dallas gets something similar. The HBK as Hogan figure is priceless, and I love the Announcer Vince one as well.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat appeared at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, VT in conjunction with WWE and the National Guard. That's pretty cool. I'd definitely go out to see him.

Kane is currently off TV in order to rest and to film "See No Evil 2". It's good that he's getting a break. He's been going pretty strong for a while now.

Shaun Ricker of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood is now Slate Randall in NXT. They really do come up with some silly names down there.

A rugby star talked about meeting a number of WWE performers. Always cool for WWE to get press.

Speaking of WWE press, here's a story putting over what WWE does for the military. Mark Henry is quoted. It's obviously a big deal for them to support the troops. Which is great given what the troops go through.

Here's another clip from Russo's big WCW 2000-centric DVD. That could be the most interesting DVD ever.

Layla's fighting the flu. That's no fun.

The Rock talked about his recovery from injuries. He went through some serious pain for WWE fans, whether some appreciate it or not.

WWE will be releasing a trivia game for kids, which I'm sure Howard Finkel and Matt Striker would excel at.

William Regal was talent scouting for WWE this weekend at PWG's Battle of Los Angeles. The show  featured a number of top indie talents. I can only imagine what the future looks like for WWE with all the people they've signed/are signing.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. But it's like a real sport, guys! Isn't that what everyone wants? Yeah, it's a cool idea in theory (submissions being more important than pins, every win and loss mattering, DQs hurting you), but it's really convoluted in practice. So... A for effort and C for execution?

2. Someone who will actually draw money. Da dumm tsh. I'd be keeping my eye on AJ Styles if I was ROH, though I don't know if they could offer him what TNA can (or if WWE is a possibility).

3. It's a gimmick they're trying to keep people watching through commercial breaks. At this point TNA needs to try about everything it seems like.

4. I picture some sad neckbeard out there with an authentic WCW ring in his backyard keeping the dream alive. But yeah, a lot of stuff is in their warehouses.

5. That's silly. I wonder why WWE hasn't bought that stuff.

More wrestling tomorrow.
