Interviews with Ziggler/Titus/Natalya/Bushwhacker Luke/Lawler/Axel, WWE "still employed" list, Punk added to live event, Independece Day tweets, and Questions on Gut Check, height, and WCW on Raw

Dolph Ziggler talked about his recent concussion, previous gimmicks, and more. A really talented guy who WWE doesn't always know what to do with.

Here's another interview with Ziggler. He always comes across well in "puff pieces" like this.

Yoshi Tatsu, Primo, and Epico all worked WWE Live events in Japan. None of them have wrestled on U.S. TV in 2 1/2 months, so you'd be forgiven for forgetting that they're still there. They're lucky that WWE's not having budget issues like TNA! Of course, if it wasn't for the Japanese tour, would Tatsu have been used?

C.M. Punk has been added to a live event on 7/13, his first live event since returning.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Titus O'Neil talked about his WWE career. I agree about having fun at your job and Creative letting people be themselves to some degree. I continue to wonder what things look like for both PTP members if (when?) the team breaks up. I have flashbacks to Cryme Tyme: They'd try to push the bigger guy, while the smaller "worker" stays longer but does nothing or note. I'd like to be wrong there. Both men have potential, albeit in different ways and for different roles.

Natalya talked about her "made for TV" wedding. Reality shows are something of a "work" in of themselves - passed off as reality, but ultimately heavily edited and manipulated.

Bushwhacker Luke's gym was profiled. I remember that episode of "Family Matters". Good times...

Here's a list of Independence Day tweets. No Zeb Colter, Antonio Cesaro, or Jack Swagger!?

Jerry Lawler talked about becoming a wrestler. Funny story.

Curtis Axel talked about being Intercontinental Champion. Kidd and Kofi are hurt, so neither will be challenging him any time soon. He's right about the last name being a potential curse, and it's great that he has such great people to work with/take advice from. "The Axe" is DEAD ON about quality over quantity.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Someone jumped the gun with this question! Madison Rayne wasn't a Gut Check competitor. At any rate, they felt that they had to make some cuts and those names were among those that they didn't feel that they were going to be using any time soon. They kept Sam Shaw, Lei'd Tapa and the British Bootcamp peeps, so there's still hope for some of their non-main roster names.

Nothing to add to 2.

3. As if they're not terrifying enough now. Height definitely has an impact in how powerful someone is perceived, hence the whole "Napoleon complex" story.

Nothing to add to 4. Ultimately financial decisions play a role in just about everything.

5. Call me naive, but I don't think they were intentionally out to bury WCW. Though, by 2001, WCW had kind of buried itself, no?

More wrestling tomorrow.
