Raw preview, Heenan Twitter a fake, and Questions on the Desperadoes, Punk shooting, Rusev's accent, wrestlers giving input on merch, wrestlers keeping their names in WWE, and WWE's China deal

Set for Monday's Raw:
- Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz in a Champion vs. Champion match
- Rusev vs. Titus O'Neil for the United States Championship.
- "Team USA vs. Team World" in a 16-man tag match
- another former authority figure stops by.

-- It's a shame we probably won't get American Alpha or Kurt Angle. Is the Swagger Soaring Eagle too much to ask for? Hopefully we at least get Sgt. Slaughter and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund confirmed the Bobby Heenan Twitter account is fake. Looks like a lot of WWE personalities and news outlets got worked, as did Twitter. I guess someone succeeded in getting the attention they were seeking by making the account. May many burials be in that person's future.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I can't blame them for giving up the search. Hansen was one tough hombre.

2. It wasn't scripted in the sense of Punk's verbiage being written for him, but they had ideas about what he'd do and say each time.

3. The accent is an exaggeration/work; sometimes he doesn't put it on as heavy.

4. I'm sure people make suggestions for their merchandise and music, but ultimately it's not their decision what gets made. It's something along the lines of how a movie star doesn't have final say on their character and how it's presented. I imagine some talents are just happy to have merch money coming in!

5. Since Joe was originally going to be something of a free agent, he wasn't given a WWE name. He also has a lot of name value already. Gargano and Ciampa are still allowed to take outside bookings that don't conflict with NXT, so they're safe, too. I wouldn't assume every established name will get to keep their pre-WWE identity, but certainly guys like Nakamura, Aries, Styles, and Roode remaining under those names is a good sign.

6. Not directly. They're just both going after a big potential market.

More wrestling tomorrow.
