AW remark gets WWE in trouble, Questions on HHH, Robbie E, Gillberg, Punk vs. Cena, and Punk turning heel, what happened after Raw, more on Raw fire, Raw viewership, and Tensai in trouble

WWE and AW have apologized for referring to Kobe Bryant's sexual assault case after TMZ picked the story up.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think he'll keep popping up for a while as long as he's a big deal behind-the-scenes in WWE and can still draw money. His last opponent is years from now. It's kind of a shame it won't be HBK or Flair(?), and they've already kind of wrapped things up with Taker.

2. To be a "comedy jobber" as some have put it. I actually like the gimmick, but I'm probably not the most sane person to judge these things.

3. I'd mark. There's no reason they still can't do that down the line. He can say that he's heard all the chants and there's one man he needs to face to legitimize himself. I'd see some being ticked that it wasn't the "real deal" though.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
4. I can see it happening, too. Cena's still going to be the franchise guy for a while.

5. I can see it affecting things, but maybe over the long run it's better for him to have turned heel for other reasons (facing Rock at the Rumble).

Big Show and John Laurinaitis both ate Attitude Adjustments after Raw. There were no pre-Raw dark matches (including Superstars) due to the fire.

Speaking of the fire, it's been speculated to have been caused by the pyro being set too close to the set, which people are still getting used to.

Here's the rundown of Raw viewership:
An average of 4,495,000 viewers- 4,064,000 in hour 1, 4,719,000 in hour 2, and 4,701,000 in hour 3. Not as many people stuck around from Raw 1000 as WWE would hope.

Tensai is also in hot water with WWE after saying it is "very dangerous to drive with a Japanese person" in a Tout ahead of Smackdown. So, his character hates Sakamoto, but he isn't allowed to be a jerk about it? They should work it into a storyline to show viewers how NOT to treat people of different races than you. Tyson Kidd could defend Sakamoto. WWE gets further away from the Attitude Era every day.

More news tomorrow.
