Main Event Reax - 4/29/14, what happened after Raw, another provider drops WWE PPVs, praise for Jackman, update on Total Diva, WWE Network reaches new platform, Interview with AJ Styles, Raw audience, WWE PPV locations through WM31, Impact lineup and Questions on WWE's best talker, commentary, GFW, WWE's booking and Cena as the top guy

Main Event:
Wow! I definitely didn't see Goldust beating Del Rio. As much as I like Goldust, that feels like a step down for the former WWE/World Champion. Good match, but the ending took me by surprise.

Ooooohhhhh.... intriguing stuff between Cody and Goldust. I definitely see the matches with Del Rio as primarily being tools to get these two to feud instead of Management having it out for Cody or something. I think this feud could be pretty good if everyone is on their A game.

Interesting twist thrown into Smackdown's title match. I think we could definitely see a title change.

Good stuff between Paige and Alicia; the Divas' Champion looks a little more natural in the ring with every match.

Good to have a little bit of tension between Paige and Tamina before their match on Sunday.

Ehhhh.... Sheamus continues to be uninspiring in his promos. It could just be because he's not being pushed now, but he doesn't feel like a top act at the moment.

Way to bury Big E there. It'd be different if E got to show Barrett wrong, but they just kind of leave it hanging that he's supposedly bland and boring.

That match felt like they were cramming a lot of spots into a short amount of time, but Kofi and Barrett both looked good.

Cool pre-match with Bray.

Sheamus and Wyatt really tore it up there. Wyatt's really making strides as a future headliner. Bryan vs. Wyatt at Summerslam for the title would be great. Sheamus deserves credit for his hard work here, too.

Good post-match to presumably set up a tag team title feud.

Former WCW and AWA announcer passes, TNA business moving forward, former TNA Champion injured, WWE charity, "Yes!" movement continues, Interview with Lawler, WWE scouting internationally, another NXT special in the works, WWE going international, Ambrose note, update on new WWE signings, World Title match on Impact?, JR fires shots at talent development, Smackdown audience, new Extreme Rules match and Questions on the Streak ending, HHH if he breaks up with Stephanie, Del Rio's lack of a push and the future of Evolution

Lee Marshall, who in addition to voicing Tony the Tiger in recent years was an announcer in AWA and WCW, has passed away. Honestly, 67's really not that old. I wish his family and friends the best.

Update: WWE put out a statement on his passing. That's cool of them.

There's talk of new talent additions to TNA. That's great! They can definitely continue to grow as some parts of the roster look kind of bare right now.

TNA is talking of doing more TV tapings in New York City in August. That could be cool. They definitely need to find a location for them.

Query on Rhett Titus-WWE, ex-WWF/WCW star has surgery, Interview with Summer Rae, live event notes and Questions on titles, ending Taker's streak, the change in WWE, Bryan's push and the HoF

First up, a query:
1. I haven't seen anything about Rhett Titus potentially going to WWE since his cameo appearance last year. He's back to working with ROH under a new gimmick, so I'm thinking that ship's probably sailed by now.

Former WWF and WCW performer Black Bart had surgery to improve blood flow in his legs. I hope that goes well for him.

Summer Rae was interviewed. Nothing really groundbreaking. I like her and wish her the best.

Superstars Reax - 4/16/14, Warrior tribute, good news for EY and Questions on the Warrior doc, using non-U.S. talents, advertising debuts on non-WWE shows and Scooby Doo

Superstars:
Big E vs. Sandow was pretty good. Sandow makes for a good ring general to teach the less experienced Big E the ropes.

Good post-match promo from Big E. He's coming along. It will probably be some time before I can consider him worthy of being one of THE guys in WWE, but he's certainly making improvements.

Good enough match between Kofi and Titus. Titus is still rough around the edges as a singles star, but I can see some positive signs in his work. Hopefully he keeps finding his way.

WWE and TNA roster updates, Interviews with D-Von/Jimmy Hart, NXT talents get merch, Lawler appearance, GFW updates, Impact audience, new match set for Raw, WWE does Sting-Taker video and Questions on the new contract changing WWE's TV shows, thumbtacks, safety with blood, revamping the U.S. Title and Cesaro with Heyman

The New Age Outlaws have been removed from the roster section of WWE.com. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, as they were more or less written off with the loss to The Shield. Road Dogg is back to working as a producer. They should probably stay on the shelf at this point as both men left WM30 battered and bruised.

Daniels has been officially moved to the alumni section of TNA's website following the expiration of his contract. Kazarian and Chris Sabin are expected to be joining him soon, but are still at this juncture officially still under TNA contract. I hope all three men find great success outside of TNA and TNA can make up for their departures.

WWE.com interviewed D-Von Dudley about Extreme Rules and more. I haven't used that name for him in years. Wow, that feels weird. If you were expecting any nod to TNA, you must be new here. They didn't even name D-Von's school since it's a nod to his team's TNA name. I like his philosophy of his kids going through college. Good move. I think my nostalgia goggles are wearing off for some of the hardcore, extreme stuff. Just going around and beating each other bloody with weapons and going for "Holy #*$%" chants feels like kind of a cheap way out. You've got to count The Shield as extreme. Interesting tease there at the end about a potential return. I don't know how well he'd be received without that other guy, but him pairing with Big E could be a good move to elevate the latter.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE streaming notes, guest at NXT, WWE TV deal coming soon?, recent WWE signing finishing indy dates, Hogan going overseas, Darren Young update, more from Foley, TNA signs representation deal and new international TV deal, new NXT special for WWE Network, Bischoff correction, ex-WWE exec now in TNA, TNA contract updates and Questions on WWE's next top star, Warrior and Savage in the Hall, WWE roster cuts and the Monday Night Wars series

WWE is doing very well with getting people to stream their online content following the launch of the WWE Network. I'm very glad to see that. They do produce a LOT of content. TV deals and PPVs aren't dead as forms of revenue, but I think we'll continue to see more focus put on online content.

Big E was at the most recent set of NXT tapings. I wonder where he fits into things down there. Big E vs. Brodus could be interesting given the latter's recent push in NXT.

WWE could soon be announcing their new TV deal with their annual shareholder meaning coming up. Supposedly there are a number of parties they've negotiated with. It will be very interesting to see where they end up!

Here's a piece on WWE's live events in Saudi Arabia. No mention of the "no women allowed" thing a lot of Western fans have taken issue with. I'm surprised there hasn't been a bigger row about that.

Bryan update, what's scheduled for Raw, Smackdown dark match, TNA veteran's contract expires and Questions on dropping the U.S. Title, Raw vs. Smackdown, pushing Axel, Brock vs. Taker and Russo in TNA

Daniel Bryan has been pulled from this weekend's live events due to his father passing away. He's scheduled to be back on Raw, but that's not 100% set in stone. I can only imagine what he's going through right now. He definitely has my regards and hopefully he can pull through this tough period of his life.

On the next episode of Raw, Stephanie McMahon will apologize to Daniel Bryan for Kane's actions on Monday. I think it's pretty obvious how that will go, but it could still be a good segment. Bryan vs. Kane could really be something if both men are on their "A" game that night.

Also set for Raw is Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam to determine who faces Big E at Extreme Rules for the Intercontinental Championship.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Main Event Reax - 4/22/14, what happened after Raw, new match for Extreme Rules, latest GFW news, more Warrior tributes, latest TNA vs. W1 match, Interviews with Coach/Duggan/Bully Ray/Bad Influence/Credible, stipulation added to Bryan vs. Kane, Raw audience, Foley leaves WWE and Questions on the Stinger, PPV length, WWE's neglected performers, Bryan vs. Rey and the best never to be world champ

Main Event:
I've seen better from Big E and Del Rio, but that match was good for the amount of time it got. Big E's still got room to grow before I could trust him with a big push, but I think he's doing well enough so far.

I don't really like the idea of Barrett cutting the legs out from under Big E. Why even suggest Big E is one-dimensional and boring? Obviously the heel shouldn't be singing his praises, but there are better ways of building heat.

Oh, boy. So that match happened. It wasn't terrible actually.

I really liked Sheamus vs. Titus a good deal. I'm not crazy about Sheamus going to the top rope during his matches as it seems inconsistent with his style, but all in all I think this was a solid encounter. Titus seems to be growing as a competitor.

Did they really just headline with Ryback vs. Uso instead of Sheamus vs. Titus? Weird. The match was good but not great.

Impact and NXT lineups, Roberts health update, first two WWE PPVs of 2015 set, new podcast coming, GFW strikes working deal with AAA, A-lister back on Raw, Interview with Piper, Very sad Bryan note, Smackdown audience and Questions on Sting vs. HBK, crowd hijacking, WWE souvenirs and Sting in GFW

Set for Thursday's Impact Wrestling:
- MVP vs. Austin Aries
- Beer Money vs. Bully Ray and Gunner
- Bobby Lashley vs. Kenny King
- Kurt Angle vs. Rockstar Spud
- Beautiful People vs. Madison Rayne and Gail Kim

I still don't know who the babyfaces are in the Knockouts feud. But you know... Russo. Those two first matches should be amazing.

Jake Roberts got good news about his cancer or lack thereof. That's great, Jake! Keep it going.

There will indeed be an Ultimate Warrior tribute on "The Goldbergs". Pretty cool.

Interviews with The Fink/Swagger, interesting omission from TNA live event, Nash blasts off on Piper, Sting even cozier with WWE, ex-WWE/World Champion taking time off and Questions on Mania's attendance record, Evolution with Flair, WWE honoring Warrior and Miz challenging Bryan

Howard Finkel discussed what makes a good ring announcer and more. Pretty cool story about getting into WWE. On a related note, here's The Fink doing ring announcing for a wedding complete with entrance music. Some people there did entrances better than others. That Hulk Hogan mustache tho.

Jeff Hardy/Willow wasn't at the 4/19 TNA live event in NC. I imagine there were some disappointed fans in his home state.

Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman took aim at Roddy Piper's recollection of a backstage incident from WCW. Damn! That got pretty heated. I hope they don't come to blows over something from more than a decade ago.

Update: Piper responded and Nash is still mad. I'd love to know the whole story behind the incident.

Superstars Reax - 4/19/14, heat on TNA talent, wrestlers who look like Metallica, Mania photos, Impact audience, Bryan's return set, big wins for youth movement and Questions on Hardy as Willow, Sabu, Poffos in the Hall and Garett Bischoff

Superstars:
Good little match between Big E and Titus. I think both men are doing well and hope we see them both shine.

3MB vs. Los Matadores was pretty good for its place on the card. I can see why some people have wanted Drew to break out on his own. I can't say I'd mind it.

There was heat on a number of TNA performers for posing in pictures with Jeff and Karen Jarrett due to those pictures appearing as promotion for GFW. It did seem to imply the stars in the pictures would be part of the new venture. Some of them may very well be, but they're all under TNA contract.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Bischoff-TNA update, why EY is World Champ, more TNA roster updates, latest lineup for Sacrifice, Foley talks Punk walkout, Interview with Stone Cold, WWE vs. Nancy Grace?, GFW moves forward, WWE-Saudi Arabia notes, another wrestling homage in the works, WWE ref in dangerous accident and Questions on TNA vs. GFW, TNA ripping off WWE, the Divas' Title situation and piracy

Eric Bischoff remains employed in TNA as a creative consultant, though his and Russo's contract expire in less than three months. Note John Gaburick is still the head of Creative and doesn't have to take either man's suggestions. Of note, Garett Bischoff is also still under contract but hasn't been used since November.

Part of TNA's push for Eric Young is to tie in with his Animal Planet show. Season 3 stars on June 16. I can't say that's a terrible strategy. WCW did that to great success with putting their World Title on the star of a movie. Kidding. Young has a lot of experience with TNA and as such it's not too crazy for him to be champ.

It's expected Chris Sabin will be done with TNA once his contract expires. Bad Influence could end up back in a TNA ring down the line. We'll see. They're certainly well-regarded by old-school TNA fans.

Taryn Terrell should be returning soon after her hiatus due to pregnancy. I honestly felt her work was extremely overrated. She worked hard and did a lot of big bumps, but that doesn't in of itself make a great match to me.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA contract updates, result of X-Division Title match in Japan, ROH note, WWE-Saudi press, Interviews with Cesaro/Piper/Kliq, WWE Legend appearance, ex-TNA star talks money problems, Joe update, new TNA tapings, Russo's TNA status and Questions on Benoit as WCW Champ, the WWE Network, video libraries and other promotions running Mania towns

Bad Influence (and Curry Man) are now taking bookings outside of TNA. Their contracts are believed to be expiring shortly, so this could be a sign of them leaving the company. They're a solid part of TNA's foundation and generally do pretty good work, so their loss will definitely be felt if this is really the end.

Update: Daniels' TNA contract expires at the end of April and Kazarian's expires in May. Chris Sabin's also officially expires in the next few weeks. All three are expected to be done. That' a shame given how long each of them have been there and how much they each still had to give. I wouldn't count on any of them going to WWE, but you never know.

TNA has signed Rockstar Spud to a new long-term deal. I enjoy his work, so I'm glad he's been re-signed.

Sanada retained the TNA X-Division Championship after defeating Daniels in Japan. I haven't heard how long Sanada's stay in TNA is expected to be, but they definitely plan to use him for the foreseeable future.

Real Americans update, WWE logo changeover, WWE going to new market, more from the Network, Sting on WWE Network (!), TNA Sacrifice lineup, AJ Lee-WWE update, more on Warrior passing, 3MB update, WWE roster travel nightmares, EY on tour with the title, Sabin-TNA update, Raw script leaks, another WWE PPV set, Interview with AJ Styles, WWE star injured and Questions on Sting vs. Taker, the WM30 opening segment, Bryan vs. Sheamus, the WWE Network and credits

There's talk of Jack Swagger having a new partner to replace Cesaro. I think Sandow would fit well, but maybe they should go in a completely different direction and use a smaller high-flyer to balance with Cesaro. If they wanted to find a new use for someone not currently doing anything (Hawkins, Otunga, etc.), that's definitely an option for them to be plugged back in. Evan Bourne would be a cool addition from a style standpoint, but I suspect they're just waiting out his contract after those two Wellness strikes.

WWE plans to change to its new logo by August. It's time, really. They're a different company from who they were when they debuted the scratch logo.

WWE has plans on expanding internationally and will be holding a live event in Malaysia later in the year. That's pretty cool.

The WWE Network will continue to expand this spring and summer to new devices. It's a big deal for them.

Main Event Reax - 4/15/14, what happened post-Raw, Impact and Raw lineups, more turmoil for WWE PPVs, WWE press, Interviews with ex-WWE writer/Chavo, latest Jarretts announcement, TNA stars renew deals, Warrior tribute, big WM30 milestone, Raw audience, Raw roster notes, new Extreme Rules match, big part of Raw added last minute and Questions on Vince the person, the ending to Brock-Taker, Heyman blasting the announcers and the WWE Network

Main Event:
I think I can live with the idea of Hornswoggle being with 3MB. WWE's not exactly doing much with the group. If this gives them something to do, I'll let it play out a little more. There's a big difference between Hornswoggle teaming with 3MB and him teaming with a top act.

Yeah, WWE's just having some fun here after a hectic Mania season. I'm OK with some levity here and there. This is minor compared to John Cena's abysmal promo on Raw. I really hope it got over with the kids, because a lot older fans have had enough of his comedy.

We had to get Torito vs. Hornswoggle at some point. Hornswoggle as a heel makes sense with his role in Leprechaun. Will we see a more mean character from him to tie things together?

I hope Bo Dallas gets over with that gimmick. He can be an acquired taste.

This is the kind of promo I wanted from Barrett's new character, outside of Sin Cara being a joke. If he wins, all he's done is beat a joke. If he loses, he lost to a joke. Sin Cara was a big deal in Mexico (wink, wink) and they shouldn't completely write that off.

I liked Barrett vs. Sin Cara well enough. Hopefully The former Nexus leader is in for a resurgence.

Where the heck is AJ in all this? I hope she's not being cast aside or leaving because of Punk. She's got a lot left to offer.

Good showing by Tamina there. Tamina vs. Paige makes sense. There's so much potential to AJ vs. Paige and I hope we still see that.

God I love Zeb Colter. The gimmick's starting to wear long in the tooth, but he plays it perfectly and puts a lot into it.

As far as Big Show matches go, that was pretty good. Swagger got to show some good offense before the loss. That said, I've seen Big Show win matches since 1999 and am ready for the new talent to shine.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA vs. Wrestle-1 match official, assorted WWE and TNA press, examining Jarrett's promotion, more on Warrior, Interview with Big E, potential Jarrett incident, Darren Young update, former X-Division Champion returning to TNA?, former TNA Champion's contract expires, ex-NXT act works TNA, Smackdown audience, PPVs-DirecTV update and Questions on new content on the WWE Network, TNA vs. Jarrett, WWE on Bryan, where's Vince and Big E as Taz

Sanada vs. Daniels for the TNA X-Division Championship is official for an upcoming Wrestle-1 event. Call it a hunch but I really don't see Daniels winning that one.

EC3 and Christy Hemme are in a music video. Sadly it's not a video for EC3's awesome theme.

ABC's "The Goldbergs" will air a wrestling-themed episode on May 6. Despite what the name may lead you to believe, it's about early editions of WrestleMania, not a certain former WCW Champion. Hopefully it does the genre justice.

Jeff Jarrett promoted his new venture, Global Force Wrestling. Still not a lot of info about it. There are a lot of rumors, though! Late 2014/early 2015 is believed to be the timetable for the first tapings. I'm definitely intrigued, as a lot of people are.

Big Sting-WWE update, WWE injury, a must-see WWE Network piece and Questions on the Streak ending, HHH "burying" Bryan, Paige vs. AJ, TNA's sudden title change and Dixie's return

Sting is believed to have either signed with WWE or is very close to doing so. He isn't expected to come on-board as a frequent wrestler, but it's possible we see him in the ring. Naturally everyone is speculating on him facing Taker at WM31. Nothing's set in stone on that end yet. This is a really big deal for both sides and I hope it bears fruit. I think I can live with Sting vs. Taker next year as the special attraction to bring in older fans. It needn't be a "five-star" match as long as it is mostly a passable encounter. Naturally this is assuming Taker has another match left in him, which might be a bit presumptuous at this stage.

Darren Young suffered some sort of knee injury at a recent WWE live event, necessitating a change in his match with Fandango. He was originally supposed to lose via pinfall, but instead lost via countout. I don't want to beat a dead horse, but the PTP breakup doesn't seem to have done much of any good for either man's career. Hopefully this is a blessing in disguise and Young gets a fresh look when he recovers.

More Warrior fallout, more on Merriman signing, Interviews with Heyman/Eric Young, former TNA Champion signs new deal, Vickie update and Questions on Nancy Grace, Taker vs. Brock, TNA in NYC and the HoF

WWE is assisting the family of Ultimate Warrior after his passing. Very classy on their part.

MLB player Garrett Jones will be using Warrior's theme for the remainder of the season. That's pretty cool.

Here's another story on the WWE signing of Shawne Merriman. I hope this works out well for both parties.

Paul Heyman was interviewed about his client BRRRRRRRROOOOOCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKK
LLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR

Bad Influence was interviewed. Of note, they worked a recent One Night Only PPV taping. So they're not gone from TNA just yet as some speculate will soon happen.

This piece compares a current Memphis NBA player with Memphis' wrestling history. Pretty cool.

Mandatory.com looked at the greatest wrestler from each U.S. state. Wyoming shouldn't fret; Bischoff is a former WCW Hardcore Champion!

Mania week attendance, TNA tapings official, Hogan goes after fan doc, Vince makes an about-face, potential future Mania location, another Hogan appearance and Questions on a post-WM30 show, WarGames returning, heels with merch, is Vince crazy and ending The Streak

WWE released official attendance figures for its WrestleMania week events. Impressive stuff. I hope things continue in a positive direction after the moves they've made.

TNA will be taping a number of episodes of Impact Wrestling and possibly a One Night Only PPV at the original home of WWE Raw. This is the same venue as the Hammerstein Ballroom, but TNA opted to tape at the smaller Grand Ballroom.

Hulk Hogan shot down affiliation with a recent fan documentary. I was never under the impression he was endorsing it. It was just about the fan.

Read on for the fallout from Warrior's passing.

Interview with Paige, Mr. T talks HoF, Angle update, Questions on Willow, Superstars, Razor and Jake in the Hall, canned pops and the Network

Paige talked about her Divas' Title victory. The bar's definitely been set high with her being Divas' Champion her first night.

Mr. T talked about his Hall of Fame speech being cut short. There's no telling how long everything would have gone if there were truly no time limits. Geez.

Kurt Angle teased a return. I hope Angle still has some juice left in him. He's almost always enjoyable to watch as a top veteran athlete.

Main Event Reax - 4/8/14, what happened after Raw, more from Mania, Interviews with Hogan/Paige/Bryan, Rey talks original Sin Cara, old enemies embrace, update on Main Event's TV status, latest on WWE youth movement, Taker update, why Heyman's with Cesaro, Bryan note, WWE signing WM30 guest?, Otunga update, latest on TNA tapings, Raw audience, reference to Taker on popular show, WWE pairing splits and Questions on Wyatt as the new Taker, Brock's contract and the plan for Bryan

Main Event:
That was a pretty kickass opening contest! Those six men really know how to bring it. I do think they went too heavy on big moves, but as presumably the last match in the feud, I can live with it. Less can be more. Everyone worked really hard at any rate. I don't think the loss will hurt the Wyatts. This was more about elevating The Shield.

#$*% YES that Shield promo. I'm really ready for them to get a big moment against Kane, HHH, Batista and Orton. I feel like the four men mentioned still have something to bring to the table in WWE, but Kane and HHH in particular should be winding down their days of being featured acts from an in-ring perspective.

I wonder if Zeb will have any beef with Alexander Rusev? He doesn't even speak English (in kayfabe)!

I'm actually pretty surprised Ziggler tapped out there, but I really shouldn't be at this point. I do think it'd be better if Swagger worked on the ankle to wear it down first.

Well $#@&! They definitely want Rusev to get over strong early. Good win for him. I hope Sin Cara can recover. He's a talented guy.

That Smackdown main event sounds pretty great. I'm ready for it.

Looks at WM30 and Brock/Taker, WM30 injury, Interview with Bo, Sting update, Network subscribers, Jarrett's announcement, Superstar leaves WWE, Taker note, NXT cameos, Smackdown audience, new member of TNA Creative and Questions on betting on Mania, the Hall of Fame, PPV prices, ROH on WWE PPV and Bryan's music

PWInsider had live notes from WrestleMania. I'm glad they put the Divas' Title match where they did and had it be such a largely uneventful bout - the fans needed time to process the ending of Brock/Taker. A lot of us are still processing it!

Update: more thoughts on the Brock/Taker situation. Obviously Raw didn't really tell us much about Taker's situation. They might hold off a little while before announcing much of anything given Taker going to the hospital after the match.

Billy Gunn was coughing up blood after WrestleMania. He's believed to have ruptured a small blood vessel. I'm going on the assumption we won't be seeing NAO in the ring for a while.

DGUSA's Gabe Sapolsky and Larry Zbyszkzo were at WrestleMania. That had to be an awesome moment for Sapolsky.

Hulk talks Warrior, Rock and Austin at the HoF, why Razor in the Hall, longtime authority figure going?, where's Shane?, ex-WWE Champion misses Punk, Sting-WWE update and Questions on Punk at Mania, Bryan's music and Tuesday Night Titans

Hulk Hogan acknowledged Warrior's Hall of Fame speech. I hope they've truly buried that hatchet as entertaining as it was for Warrior to lay into him at times.

The Rock attended the Hall of Fame. He was a nice surprise last night.

Paul Orndorff was interviewed. I'm surprised he was at WrestleMania given his temperament.

Stone Cold talked about attending the Hall of Fame. There's just something odd about Austin drinking wine instead of beer.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE Hall of Fame Reax - 4/5/14, HoF warning, lots of WM30 hype, remembering Bearer, AXXESS cameo and Questions on Mickie-WWE, Rock at Mania, Warrior, celebs at Mania and Legends contracts

Hall of Fame:
Great trip down memory lane with Lita. It was cool to hear about her beginnings and her being an inspiration to so many people. I'm glad we didn't get a C.M. Punk chant.

DDP's an awesome person. I loved that intro.

Jake Roberts really hit me in the gut there. An amazing redemption story. I couldn't be prouder of him for turning his life around.

I guess WWE wanted some levity after that really emotionally-heavy speech.

I really liked Mr. T's speech, as odd as it was at times. Touching story about his mom.

HOLY #*$&! I didn't expect Taker to make an appearance, as he's never been on-camera for the Hall of Fame. That was pretty cool.

Nash cracks me up every once in a while.

Cool stuff from the Kliq.

Ehhh... I think I could do without the comedy bits.

Yeah, I don't think Carlito's coming back to WWE with those comments.

Nothing too memorable from Carlos. I guess his time got cut a good deal.

Touching words from Linda.

That was pretty cool from Warrior. A very memorable speech and I'm glad he didn't go too far off-the-rails and take any shots at anyone. I hope his relationship with WWE really improves.

LOTS of Mania stuff, Interviews with Foley/Hall, Daniels-TNA update, JR has special guests, report from AXXESS, Impact audience, see the WM30 set and Questions on Colon/Cornette/ECW in the Hall, Lawler wrestling and travel schedules

Mick Foley did a Q&A about Mania and more. He has the right philosophy about being scarce with certain things.

Update: Here's another Foley interview. Foley did face Rocky Balboa in TNA after all. And you think TNA's ridiculous and bad NOW.

Sanada will defend the X-Division Championship against Daniels in Wrestle-1 on April 17. This could be Daniels' final appearance for TNA, as there's been no word on him signing a new contract. If he is leaving, him putting over Sanada is a nice use of him.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin joined Jim Ross on stage at his recent one-man show. I'm sure that was entertaining!

Update: Jim Cornette was at a previous Jim Ross show. I bet that got pretty heated. Corny's a passionate guy.

Lots of Mania stats, a look at Bryan's rise, WWE appearances, latest on Jarrett promotion, potential Mania surprise, big name set for Mania, HoF rings, Interview with top TNA exec and Questions on the WWE HoF, entrance music and wrestlers with animals

This link has a LOT of WrestleMania trivia. Goldust is going for a reverse Undertaker gimmick it looks like. I can't be the only one who wants to see Santino Marella make a promo about breaking his 0-2 streak at Mania. On a related note, I miss the Honk-a-meter. I personally found the Punk/Regal feud that broke that run overrated. No diss to Regal; I was just underwhelmed with Santino's streak ending that way. Anyway, very impressive record-keeping from the author.

Rolling Stone looked at the Daniel Bryan "Yes!" movement. Bryan comes across as a really intelligent individual. He could probably have a gimmick like Damien Sandow's with that reading list.

Mark Henry, Natalya and David Otunga(!) were at a WWE anti-bullying rally. It has literally been more than a full year since Otunga wrestled. He's a great choice for an ambassador and I could see him getting air time on something on the Network, but it doesn't look like they have any plans for him as a wrestler.

Interviews with EC3/Cena/Bryan/Hogan/RVD/Orndorff/Road Dogg, names in town for Mania, what WM30 means for the Network, rapper talks Raw brawl, examining the Orlando Jordan push, WWE on PPV update, Questions on live events on the WWE Network, breaking up The Shield, Kofi as a Wyatt, original plan for Bryan at Mania and the Andre battle royal

Ethan Carter III talked about WWE vs. TNA and more. I was a noted fan of his with his WWE work and think WWE made the right move in picking him up.

John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Hulk Hogan were all interviewed at the WrestleMania 30 press conference. I think Bryan would be justified in demanding a higher spot for himself and other hard workers.

Paul Orndorff is in New Orleans for WrestleMania week activities. I wonder if he'll induct Mr. T into the WWE Hall of Fame?

Variety examined how pivotal WrestleMania 30 is in relation to the WWE Network. A number of WWE execs were quoted. I'll certainly be keeping an eye on the numbers, too!

Main Event Reax - 4/1/14, Fight in the crowd at Raw, Savage/HOF update, NXT name to work big tour, Cena and Y2J do April Fool's gags, WM30 press conference, Interviews with Heyman/Y2J, Finkel milestone, Raw audience, another Hogan appearance, new PPV logo and Questions on airing NXT, Batista as a heel, Kane's new look, Schiavone in the Hall and title makeovers

Main Event:
Miz vs. Sheamus was pretty solid. I hope both men make it to a higher level before it's all said and done. That doesn't preclude guys like Bryan, Cesaro and The Shield from ascending, but I like there being some variety to that style.

The Bellas promo was fine to continue the never-ending build to the Divas' Title match.

Tamina vs. Nikki was nice to potentially set up a Tamina win for Sunday. I'd be completely OK with that. It's more interesting than one of the Total Divas winning the title.

Good post-match. I wonder what they could do for AJ vs. Tamina at Extreme Rules.

Hogan on Smackdown makes sense. He hasn't worn on me too much in this run. They've wisely kept him to a supporting role.

Interviews with Vince/Batista/Heyman/Foley+Booker, Devitt update, WM30 pre-show match, cut Mania matches, Questions on Punk, Vince in the Hall, a WWE legends division, the WWEPC and another HHH-Bryan scenario

Vince McMahon talked about the WWE Network and more. This could certainly be the last big project of this scale he undertakes, but Vince isn't down for the count just yet. I definitely agree with the philosophy of going where the viewers are going. Traditional TV's not dead by any means, but people are definitely migrating to this kind of thing. Appealing to non-wrestling fans will certainly be a boon if they can pull it off. Expanding internationally will of course be great. Very vague estimate from Keller. Mania will obviously be a HUGE test for them.

Prince Devitt addressed his future in the U.S. as he became champion in a UK independent promotion. That was quite the plot twist. I think this could just be a temporary thing to pop the UK crowd ahead of going to WWE. Getting the most out of his last bit of freedom; that kind of thing.

Batista talked about his return and more. At one point he had said something about leaving WWE because of a back injury. As for Bryan as champ, there's definitely a division of whether someone should be champion because they're over or if they should be champion to try and get them over. I'm usually in the latter category, but I'm coming to see the other viewpoint more. Bray definitely has "it" and some other important characteristics.
