NXT/WWE live event notes, Shelton and Matt Hardy on TNA, Interviews with Rollins/Neville, and Questions on the rights to the MVP name, ROH pushing TNA to do better, why the Elimination Chamber event, Kamala, and Final Countdown

Here's a report from this weekend's NXT live event. I like the idea of Charlotte and Sasha helping out the newer NXT women. There's not a lot else for them to do on the Florida live events. And some new recruits being put in the mix is good, too. Experience in front of a crowd is a good teacher!

Shelton Benjamin discussed recently negotiating with TNA. People really need to learn how to use something like Twitlonger for things like this. He could have been a great asset for TNA if he can still go at a high level. Hopefully we'll at least see Shelton on TV through GFW. I've missed him since the WWE days.

Seth Rollins talked about dropping the Curb Stomp and more:
- Rollins is making a lot more money in WWE. I don't blame him a bit for graduating from ROH.

- I'm very glad Rollins was able to transition to WWE.

- It's too soon for a Shield reunion.

- I like the Curb Stomp, but I'm fine with him using the Pedigree for now.

Brock added to Japan shows, GFW press, update on TNA contracts, Interviews with Molly+Ivory/Neville/Teddy Long/Owens/Cesaro/Joe, Tough Enough press, Owens update, Smackdown audience, Bryan note, Miz update, EVOLVE thanks TNA, and Questions on HHH as COO, GFW on TV, masked vigilantes, and TNA no-compete clauses

Brock Lesnar has been added to WWE's tour of Japan. He'll be wrestling Kofi Kingston on July 4. That's pretty big! He hasn't worked a live event since his return.

Here's a video of Jeff Jarrett, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, and Lance Hoyt promoting GFW's tour. Still waiting on word of a TV deal.

Bram and The Wolves negotiated new deals with TNA to replace the ones they signed near the beginning of the year. I'm not sure what all that entails for their status, but it's good for TNA they're all sticking around.

Molly Holly and Ivory talked about life after WWE. I'm glad they're doing good things and are optimistic about the future of women's wrestling.

How ROH being on DA affects coverage

The current plan for covering wrestling with ROH being added to the mix:
Mondays: PPVs (if any)
Tuesdays: Raw
Wednesdays: Network specials (if any)
Thursdays: ROH/NXT in one post, Impact Wrestling in another post.
Fridays: Main Event/Smackdown
Saturdays: Superstars as part of a news post.

Basically, ROH pushes Main Event coverage back a day.

MVP update, more shows for GFW, more details on ROH to DA, Lesnar return update, Interview with Rollins/Cena/Dana Brooke/Owens/Breeze, more dates for Owens, TNA stars re-sign, Elimination Chamber note, NXT shirt back, updates on Rusev and Show, and Questions on Finn Balor, Joe in NXT and ROH, Rusev, theme songs, and Goldust

MVP clarified his reaction to ROH coming to Destination America. I can definitely understand his frustration. I'm glad we'll still be seeing him in TNA for the time being. The product is really good right now. I just wonder if there's any turning things around for them. As for when his contract ends, I hope we can still see him wrestle on TV following that date. Whether it's in TNA, GFW, or elsewhere.

GFW has added a number of dates to its tour this summer. I'm glad they're starting strong.

ROH's COO talked about the company coming to Destination America and more:
- It's got to be beneficial to have contacts through Sinclair Broadcasting.

- It would be a shame if Joe could only be in ROH or NXT. He could be an asset to both sides.

Rusev injured, Interview with NXT Divas, Zayn update, ROH to Destination America, TNA addresses talents, Raw audience, Joe update, TNA audience, and Questions on the Chamber event, turning Reigns, Kevin Owens, another title in NXT, and Kassius Ohno

Rusev suffered a foot injury at the Smackdown taping. That really sucks. He was on a roll. I hope it's not too serious and he returns to wreak more havoc. Maybe as European Champion?

Update: Rusev is being evaluated for a lower leg injury. He will be replaced by Kane on this weekend's live events, which could lead to Kane entering the Elimination Chamber in his place. I think I'd rather see Stardust, although obviously Kane's a bigger name. Maybe Mark Henry since he lives in the area?

WWE did a roundtable discussion with Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch. They're all really talented.

- I hope we do see a WWE PPV poster with female wrestlers someday.

- NXT is really on fire. I hope it changes how things are done on the main roster.

- The camaraderie in NXT is great to see. I hope that makes it to the main roster, too.

- I like the changing mentality on women's wrestling. They can do great things.

- I'm also glad Becky Lynch dropped her initial gimmick. She's much better now.

- The NXT talents getting to make their own gimmicks is good. Some people have taken that and run with it.

- I say Divas since it's what they say on the main roster.

Interview with Kane, Becky Lynch's training, assorted WWE press, off-air notes from Raw, Y2J note, NXT lineup, NXT merchandise pulled, WWE App update, note on Bryan, and Questions on Joe in WWE, TNA going back to Spike, NXT vs. WWE, and territories on the Network

Kane talked ahead of the final WWE show in the Nassau Coliseum:
- I can see the mixed feelings about the old building closing, since new buildings have more perks for traveling performers.

- I'm a little surprised Kane acknowledged he did stuff before the Kane character. Sometimes he doesn't answer questions about Isaac Yankem, for instance.

- The battle royal with Khali, Big Daddy V, and Mark Henry was the epitome of why fans didn't take to WWE's ECW. Good thing they're not "WWE-izing" NXT like that.

- Kane sounds pretty wistful. I also wish he could have enjoyed his career more.

- I don't think he's ruined the Kane character. I just view it as a different phase of the character, kind of like the biker version of Undertaker.

- I didn't really think about the mask being hot. It makes sense. That's definitely one big downside of his gimmick.

Overall, cool interview. I hope we get a Kane autobiography someday.

WWE live event notes including returns, Interviews with Joe/Rousey, WWE cameos, and Questions on the Headbangers, injuries, reporters vs. fans, and more "where are they now"

Brad Maddox worked WWE live events this weekend, losing to Jimmy Uso. I don't know what plans they have for Maddox going forward, considering he hasn't appeared in quite some time. They might have just needed someone to work Jimmy. I'd be fine with him returning as a GM character after The Authority angle ends. David Otunga could also work in that role. Either way, he's not being used right now and it's about time to fish or cut bait.

Big Show returned to the road this weekend to lose to Roman Reigns in cage matches. Blehhhhh. I expect those two will face off in some way at Elimination Chamber. I guess they need something to slow things down in contrast to Owens vs. Cena and Rollins vs. Ambrose.

Also on live events, Charlotte and Emma teamed to defeat Layla and Alicia Fox. Obviously Charlotte and Emma were opponents at Takeover. I hope we see Charlotte and Layla on the main roster soon. I think this week should focus on Sunday's title match, but they can start vignettes or something next week.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Query on Sting-WWE, Mathews vs. the IWC, Interviews with Rock/Trish, JR on TNA, and Questions on DA rebooting TNA, Punk returning, limiting Joe, the end to Zayn vs. Owens, and the DA cancelation rumor

First up, a query:
1. There's no real update on Sting's WWE status. He's still there if they want to use him, but currently there aren't any plans to do so. It's possible they do something with him for a "Big Four" PPV (Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, WM32), but it's also possible WM31 was his last match. Naturally there's speculation of Sting vs. Undertaker at WM32, but nothing's confirmed on that front. It could be some time before they start planning out that event in earnest, so we're kind of playing the waiting game as far as if we'll see Sting work the show.

Josh Mathews, in a since-deleted tweet, questioned how the announcers in NXT could know who Samoa Joe is if TNA is "obscurity," a reference to Vince McMahon saying Sting was taken from obscurity when he came to WWE. This led to some big back-and-forth between Mathews and Twitter fans. I agree with the sentiment Joe was made a bigger deal because of his time in TNA, and isn't just "an ROH name."

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Special Impact Wrestling report - whom should WWE or GFW hire?

Since this week's edition of Impact Wrestling was a replay of Slammiversary 2014, read on for my look at which wrestlers WWE or GFW should pick up if the company loses its TV deal and goes under. Note this is, at this point in time, a purely hypothetical situation, as TNA is still in business and none of these talents are currently available.

Superstars Reax - 5/22/15, Interviews with new NXT recruit/Owens/Titus, TNA TV update, Joe updates, Smackdown audience, Tough Enough update, and Questions on endless rematches, talents staying in NXT, Punk returning, TNA with no TV, and Joe's debut

Superstars:
I enjoy Summer Rae and Alicia Fox facing off. Two very solid performers.

I thought Alicia had her with the Northern Lights suplex. Good match so far.

Nice match overall. Both Divas do good things.

This tag match has been mostly fun so far. I don't know how much more they can get from the Meta-Powers gimmick, though. Nostalgia only goes so far.

Not a bad second match to the show. It was fine for some undercard performers showing what they can do.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Samoa Joe updates, Interview with Lawler, Bischoffs sue TNA, NXT notes, Zayn update, Jarrett at AAA, TNA addresses cancellation rumor, name done with TNA, and Questions on Joe being Joe in WWE, the KO tag titles, TNA working with BHE, and Zayn's injury

While Samoa Joe has been officially added to WWE's NXT brand, he will continue to take independent dates for the time being. If he's already been advertised somewhere and that doesn't interfere with an NXT date, he'll likely be there. He can also take new bookings outside of NXT if they don't conflict with NXT commitments.

It's possible Samoa Joe eventually becomes a full-time WWE talent, but that remains to be worked out. He could very well remain an indie name who also works NXT. Either way, I hope he really adds to the NXT product. Hopefully he's motivated and can be like the Joe we saw in TNA years ago.

Jerry Lawler talked about his feud with Andy Kaufman. I don't know how realistic it is for Kaufman to go into the WWE Hall of Fame, but I know a lot of people want to see it.

Samoa Joe's NXT T-shirt sold out in many sizes within 24 hours of his debut. That's really impressive! NXT is definitely building a lot of momentum right now.

Work for WWE Network, Interviews with Balor/Sonnen/Lawler, Itami update, Takeover visitors, possible TNA return, Takeover dark match, NXT cameos, big debut in NXT, what happened after Takeover, Takeover live report, and Questions on Chainsaw Charlie, HHH vs. Sting, the quality of TNA, TNA PPVs, and wrestlers dating wrestlers

WWE is seeking someone to help out with digitizing their video library. I wonder how much of it has been converted at this point. They have SO much footage from the days before the Internet.

Finn Balor talked to MTV in the UK: Part 1 Part 2

- I'm interested to see what we see from Balor when he does appear on the main roster. Him leading a stable like the "Balor Club" would be interesting. I don't necessarily think that's the best move, especially if it's just done to take shots at Bullet Club for infringing on WWE's trademark.

- I wonder if HHH and Vince were ribbing Balor knowing he was about to go the ring, in order to see how he'd react and if it would affect his performance. It wouldn't be out of character at all.

Chael Sonnen talked about joining GFW. I'm looking forward to seeing their show.

Update on TNA partnerships, TNA program done?, Show update, WWE press, Interviews with Owens/Rock/Booker/Young Bucks, HHH conference call, Hall note, TNA Creative note, Jeff Hardy update, more TNA live events?, another NXT coach?, more Network content, Raw audience, new NXT signing, and Questions on Cena vs. Neville, the Wyatts, HHH-Mayweather, a darker Stardust, and Cena vs. Rhyno

There's speculation of TNA working with IGF after Simon Inoki visited at the most recent Impact Wrestling tapings. Hopefully TNA would be able to gain from such a relationship.

TNA's Greatest Matches series on Destination America appears to be done. Remember when TNA first came to the channel and it was all over the place? Now it's just Impact Wrestling and its immediate replay.

Big Show is advertised for next week's Raw. It makes sense for him to do something at Elimination Chamber. I've enjoyed the time away from him. I wish it had been longer!

Query on GFW in India, Interviews with Sting's son/Y2J, NXT note, more on Stone Cold+Heyman, Raw guests, Rose update, TNA audience, Miz update, Raw change, WWE hiring, and Questions on Mr. America, Ambrose or Reigns turning heel, Network ideas, and JBL's burials

First up, a query:
1. As of yet, GFW hasn't announced any TV clearings domestically or internationally. I would think they'll test the waters in the U.S. before expanding. We should know soon as the TV tapings are coming up.

Sting's son talked about wrestling in an interview about the NFL. If he'd rather be a football star than "Sting, Jr.," that's his prerogative. I wish him success there.

Morale was said to be really high in NXT following their live events this weekend. Attendance was good at all of them. I think NXT could be set for really big things.

Payback promotion, Interviews with Balor/Rose, Austin back on WWE Network, Payback injuries, TNA to the UK, and Questions on spoilers, rights issues, Payback's main event, the why of Wyatt, and Kaufman in the HoF

Seth Rollins threw out the first pitch at an Orioles game to promote Payback. Can you imagine Stone Cold doing that? I'd rather see Rollins, Kane, and J&J Security get in a brawl with the team or something. Anyway...

Finn Balor talked to a fellow Irishman. I'm really excited to see him at Takeover Wednesday night.

Adam Rose talked about the recent E:60 documentary:
- I actually like the Rose gimmick compared to Kruger's FCW stuff. It's OK to have some fun undercard stuff.

- Adam Rose is a character want to interact with. It clicks in a way Kruger really didn't.

- Rose's journey to WWE is really something. The man behind the character has been through a LOT.

- How Rose can put all that behind him to do the happy-go-lucky party gimmick is beyond me.

Live event notes for WWE and NXT, Taker book update, WWE name copyrighted, TNA announces live event, award for Titus, and Questions on wrestling documentaries, the U.S. Title, training for WWE, and Sandow

Paige returned at the end of Tamina/Naomi vs. The Bellas at a live event this weekend. I wouldn't be shocked to see that same finish tonight!

WWE's Undertaker book will focus on his legacy in the company. I don't expect it to pull back the curtain on the man himself. I hope we do see something like that one day, though.

Rusev's star medal was stolen at a live event. That's terrible, and very disappointing behavior for the person or people who took it.

WWE has filed to copyright the name Sami Zayn. Why did they wait until now? They already have Zayn merchandise!

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

More names to GFW, more NXT live events in the works, special for next week's Impact, Impact changing nights, NXT live event notes, Smackdown audience, updates on several WWE names, former Creative member passes away, and Questions on Sorensen in the ring, HHH in Philly, the IC Title, and Bryan's book

Also booked for upcoming GFW shows are Trent Baretta, Chuck Taylor, Scott Hall, and Shelton Benjamin. Some names will just work certain events, while some are booked regularly. I'm impressed by how many names they've gotten to work there. I hope the concept takes off.

Triple H is planning NXT live events for the UK. That's huge! I'm guessing that will be something they put on the next time the main roster is there. I assume they won't do NXT shows in Japan for the upcoming tour with both Balor and Owens working the main roster.

Next week's episode of Impact Wrestling will be a showing of Slammiversary 2014 in its entirety. They're doing a special then because of Memorial Day weekend possibly affecting viewership. It's not like it can get much lower! I'd rather see fresh content, but that would mean TNA had to tape more stuff and, you know, pay its talent for more work.

The lineup for next week's NXT Takeover special, depending on injury statuses, is:
- NXT Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
- #1 Contendership for the NXT Championship: Finn Balor vs. Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Blake and Murphy vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady
- NXT Women's Championship: Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch
- Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno
- Emma and Dana Brooke vs. Charlotte and Bayley

It should be an amazing show.

WWE's upcoming Undertaker book will almost definitely focus on the character, not the person. Should be fun either way.

Lady Blossom talked about coming up with the name Stone Cold and more:
- I'd love to know some of those other names suggested to Austin. FANG MCFROST SAYS I JUST WHIPPED YOUR ASS OHHHHH HEEEELLLLL YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH.

- Addiction is a really scary thing. I hope she remains sober going forward.

- The insane schedule of someone like a pro wrestler or entertainer really lends itself to substance abuse, which is quite a shame.

Matches set for Chamber PPV, GFW info, another TNA visitor, TNA losing DVDs in the UK, Goldust update, Raw visitor, WWE HoFer at GFW, Bryan update, Raw audience, WWE live event canceled, Smackdown dark match, and Questions on Brock at WM32, Lana as a face, Russo vs. Zayn, Payback's main event, and King Barrett

The Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships could be defended inside the Elimination Chamber at the end of the month. I think it really waters down the concept when people lower on the card are competing inside the structure. It should be saved for big feuds or big title matches. But hey, WWE just wants to throw big gimmicks out there to get Network buys. It might work on that count, but I think it makes it mean less when they bring the Chamber out on a whim instead of using it for big matches.

GFW put out a teaser for their first TV taping. I'm interested in what the four titles will be. I would imagine a World Title, Tag Team Titles, an "X-Division", and a Women's Title, but we'll see. I would think an hour a week wouldn't be enough to get over four titles, but it's worth giving them a shot. I have high hopes for GFW. It sounds like they've got good things in place.

Roderick Strong was backstage at a recent set of Impact Wrestling tapings. I'd be interested in how he'd do in TNA. It's been a while since we've seen him.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE adds perks to TV tapings, upcoming DVDs, another TNA special set, more names added to GFW roster, Impact audience, WWE books Network-only PPV, Bryan update, and Questions on the IC Title, rebooking the Rumble, Heyman, Rusev vs. Cena, and Hogan's character

WWE has added special VIP "Ringsider" tickets for its TV tapings, where fans get a ticket facing the hard camera, a special-edition chair like at PPVs, a signed photo of a WWE talent, and some small pieces of merchandise. It will be interesting to see what happens if those fans are distracting to the viewer and WWE tries to move them or make them change clothes.

WWE is asking fans what kind of DVD releases they want in 2016. Shane McMahon and the best of Superstars and NXT would be great. Shane basically dropped off the map when he left WWE, and people want to see him again.

The May 22 episode of Impact Wrestling could be a three-hour Destination X event. It seems a little early in the year for that.

Update: Destination X will air in June. Plans for the May 22 episode have yet to have been unveiled.

WWE live event notes, big TNA special coming up, and Questions on signing indie veterans, Raw on the Network, Michelle Beadle, Rock in the HoF, and Teddy Long in the HoF

Charlotte teamed with Natalya and Emma to beat Summer Rae, Cameron, and Alicia Fox at a live event this weekend. It can't be much longer before she's brought up.

Also on that show, Tyler Breeze teamed with Los Matadores in a loss to the Lucha Dragons and Jimmy Uso. Breeze teaming with Los Matadores sounds pretty funny. I'm glad he's getting work on the main roster. He can be a hit if they play their cards right.

TNA is scheduled to have a three-hour special episode of Impact Wrestling on May 22 beginning at 8 p.m., in the vein of a PPV. That could be just what they need on the road to Slammiversary.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

GFW notes, TNA visitors, JR on Corgan, another big TNA departure, TNA international partnership updates, TNA live event updates, another live Impact set, NXT name interviewed, Rose update, Dixie update, Corgan note, matches set for Impact, TNA statuses of Bully and Velvet, TNA attendance note, NXT live event notes, and Questions on WWE-Playboy, The Big Event, and Punk in TNA

Dixie Carter doesn't want TNA talents to work GFW shows during days when they aren't booked by TNA. I don't know if she can actually prevent them from doing so, although I'm almost positive they'd have to get permission to appear on TV for another promotion.

It's possible there will be different talents working GFW's live events than the TV show. I'm guessing Jarrett will build around a core group of performers while having others rotate in and out. In other words, it's set up a bit like the territory days. I'm interested to see how that works out.

Chris Hero was backstage at the live episode of Impact. I hope he's being considered to work there if he's still got "it."

Update: Hero was visiting friends alongside former NXT employee Rob Naylor.

Riley update, NXT lineup, Interviews with Y2J/Stone Cold/Ambrose/Rose/Woods/JR, Styles leaving WWE?, Smackdown audience, Martha Hart on Owen DVD, TNA return updates, and Questions on Sting vs. HHH, LU, first wrestling shows, JCP going national, and Pedro Morales

Alex Riley successfully underwent knee surgery. I hope we haven't seen the last of him in the ring.

Set for next week's NXT:
- Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn facing off
- Bayley vs. Jessie McKay
- Baron Corbin vs. Solomon Crowe
- Sasha Banks vs. KC Cassidy
- Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella
- Tyler Breeze and Adam Rose vs. Finn Balor and Hideo Itami

I'm interested in what they do with Crowe going forward. He's been really stuck. It looks like we'll also see two new NXT Divas debut. I expect they'll be squashed, but it's cool we'll see them.

Adam Rose asked fans on Twitter if they want to see the return of Leo Kruger. I think that's something they can do down the line when this character runs dry. Like, maybe Adam Rose was just a stage name he adopted after years as a bounty hunter. I'd wait until he needs another reboot. He was just paired with Rosa, after all.

Damien Sandow also asked what people think of the Macho Man character. I'm fine with Axel and Sandow making the most of the impersonations while they can.

Hideo Itami is expected to miss the next six-to-eight months due to a shoulder injury. That's really unfortunate. He's just getting his WWE career started! I wish him the best. I'm guessing Balor vs. breeze is what they'll do at Takeover.

TNA lucha cup update, Y2J return official, long-time WWE employee done, Taz update, E:60 note, GFW news, Zayn update, more on E:60 doc, Corgan on TNA, names announced for GFW roster, a day in the life of Rollins, JTG update, more on Patterson, Joe vs. Punk again?, and Questions on Cena "burials", other "burials", Wyatt vs. Ryback, what if Hulkamania failed?, and changing TNA Creative

Mr. Anderson and Matt Hardy will join the former John Morrison on Team USA in AAA's lucha world cup, while Drew Galloway will be part of Team Rest of the World. There's been a good point made of AAA wanting some performers who don't fit the traditional lucha mold for some of the teams in order for there to be some contrast. That's actually pretty clever.

Chris Jericho has been booked for a number of live events this summer from June through August. There could be more added. He isn't expected to work TV tapings during that time, but that could change. Unless there's an awesome storyline to bring him back to TV (maybe facing Seth Rollins in the buildup to Brock getting his rematch at Summerslam?), he'll probably stay off-screen.

WWE seamstress Sandra Gray has retired after many years with the company. She had dialed back her amount of work in the company after a family illness. WWE ABSOLUTELY needs to give her the Warrior Award next year. Mark Yeaton needs to go in the HoF sometime, too.

WWE did a Pat Patterson appreciation night after Raw. He was Vince's right-hand man in the earlier days. Very important part of WWF history. Touching ceremony!

Lanny Poffo is the latest guest on YouShoot. These are usually pretty great.
- It's got to be tough being in Savage's shadow. I hope he's doing well these days.

- Poffo's a really intelligent guy.

- Nice Groucho impression by Oliver.

- Poffo's pretty good at poetry, but I think that was already pretty well known.

Bret Hart talked about the Hart Dungeon to WWE.com:
- Stu Hart was a legendary promoter and trainer. Cool to read about those days.

- Iron Sheik's training was something else. I wonder how some of today's wrestlers would fare doing his training or Bob Backlund's.

- Imagine if Bret had stayed with WWF and did more training? That could have been a big boon for the company.

- There's a big difference between training someone through legitimate grappling and just having people do stupid drills and hazing them.

- They absolutely should have changed the mats if they were that dirty. Gross.

GFW promoted, Slammiversary update, WWE loses ally, Hogan-WM32 update, another Network special, Interview with Hall, and Questions on saying WWF, Kurrgan, BNB, the other Undertaker, and Jarrett's TNA holdings

Here's a report of the Jarretts promoting a GFW show. Jeff has always been described as a class act. The situation with his WWF departure was a business dispute.

TNA Slammiversary will be available online. As it should be in 2015. I'm curious how much interest that show will generate.

ESPN's Michelle Beadle says she's done watching WWE due to Triple H's support of Floyd Mayweather. I can see where she's coming from as far as condemning what Mayweather has done outside the ring.

GFW update, Jericho podcast update, NXT name having surgery?, live event notes, and Questions on Balor's main roster debut, staying in NXT, Punk returning, Hardy's accident, and Francine

GFW will be holding a press conference in Las Vegas this week to make an announcement regarding their TV tapings in July. Hopefully we finally get some talent announcements.

WWE is holding a poll for whom the next guest on Chris Jericho's podcast should be. Shane McMahon is listed, which is bound to get people talking. That alone would be worth the $9.99 a month.

Alex Riley tweeted about having surgery following being powerbombed by Kevin Owens. It is currently unknown whether this is storyline. If you're not watching NXT, you need to be.

Billy Gunn teamed with Finn Balor against Kevin Owens and Tyler Breeze at an NXT show this weekend. That's a cool surprise. Where was Sami Zayn?

Interview with Matt Cross/Grisham/Corgan/new NXT signing, assorted GFW notes, guest for NXT in Philly?, another country adds TNA, Smackdown audience, live event note, Hardy update, TNA's next PPV official, and Questions on GFW, the Hardcore Title, Taker in WCW, WWE's writing, and the Steiners

Matt Cross discussed Lucha Underground, Tough Enough, and more:
- I really appreciate LU doing something really different from WWE and TNA. I think it's good for them to have their own niche.

- Tough Enough is definitely a reality show first and foremost.

- I remember Matt was completely unimpressive on Tough Enough. It could have just been how he was presented there, but he came across as way too timid and not ready despite his indie experience.

GFW is expected to make some big announcements about its upcoming TV taping in the coming week. I'm ready for it!

Jim Cornette is booked for GFW shows in Tennessee. I'm sure they'll get some good sound bites from him.

TNA Hardcore Justice preview

Read on for how I'd book tonight's special edition of Impact Wrestling.

Interviews with D'Lo/Young Bucks/Stephanie, Hogan note, another free month of the Network, and Questions on Corgan in TNA, replacing Taz, censoring Foley, Sting, and Alexa Bliss

D'Lo Brown talked about the incident with Droz and more. The chest protector idea is pretty genius to get him heat from getting assistance with the frog splash.

The Young Bucks took some time off from committing copyright infringement and putting themselves over to give an interview:
- I remember part of why they were no longer used in TNA was because of the expenses of them traveling from California to the East Coast. It's not like "Generation Me" was all that big of a deal for the promotion. They were there about a year and a half.

- I think Cornette is sincere in disliking the Young Bucks for their lack of psychology and emphasis on flashy moves. He's very old-school like that. It's not like they never took shots at Cornette on social media.

- They'll definitely be more successful getting everything they can out of the Bullet Club gimmick than having to work their way up in WWE. They wouldn't immediately be the top team, if ever. They'd have to earn their stripes just like everyone else.

- I'd be curious to see them try to adjust to the WWE style. They're obviously very talented. They'd just have to really adjust things in WWE.
