Hendrix correction, freshening up TNA, more on TNA mystery, WWE show returning, Ziggler birthday, Cubs give away lucha masks, TNA talent exchange?, MMA-TNA update, TNA star on TMZ, Interview with former WWE writer, Raw audience, fan attacks Orton, and Questions on the Bellas, Sorensen, ex-WWE stars returning, and Cena vs. Bryan

In a correction to the highly discussed Taeler Hendrix interview, Dixie Carter wasn't the one who said that she was "heavy for TV". Not that it matters that much. It was still pretty absurd and sad.

TNA is looking to bring in new talents, but no names have been confirmed. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on the talents they bring in. I think there are some good choices out there, and there are also some people I don't want to see in TNA.

Here's another #August1Warning video. That was cool I guess. There's no way that if it was Batista, they wouldn't pimp the hell out of it being Batista. I still get the feeling that it's Adam Pearce.

Saturday Morning Slam is returning in September. That show's kind of a mixed bag sometimes.

Query on WWE losing ground?, Interviews with Taeler/Punk, TNA mystery continues, Kharma returns to the ring, update on Roberts, Flair 2016?, Maria takes shots at Bellas, JR targets Cena haters, more "Total Divas" hype, PPV name change official, Smackdown audience, and Questions on Cody Hall, Mania locations, Taz in TNA, TNAcide, and heel JR

First up, a query:
1. It's a little tough to say whether WWE is "losing ground". Things are pretty complicated, since you have to look at their international business, their spending for things like the Developmental Center, etc.. I'd say that they're still in a pretty healthy position, for what that's worth.

Taeler Hendrix talked about her release from TNA and more. Here are some highlights. A size 3 is too heavy for TV? lolTNA. Just when they show some hope, something happens that makes me facepalm. I think it might be time for a regime change.

C.M. Punk had a pretty good interview over the weekend about Brock, Vince, and more. I can certainly see how Punk's attitude would make people wary of dealing with him.

TNA continues to push the mystery of their August 1 videos. I bet it's former FCW star Buck Dixon! Nah, seriously, I have no idea. I was impressed with Adam Pearce on Gut Check, so I suppose I'd be ok with it being him. TNA could certainly sign worse (and has in the past). I don't see it being Bob Holly. That'd be all kinds of lolTNA. He's 50 and pretty much retired.

Interview with Trent?, Ziggler gets birthday surprise, WWE announcer taking time off, JR gives advice, and Questions on TNA stars in WWE, Sorensen, Bryan's push, Heyman/Maddox, WM in Toronto, Warrior-WWE, Flair's money problems, changing TNA, and the X-Division

Trent Barreta talked ahead of an indie show. DGUSA will be using him a lot in the future I believe. He's a talented (and hilarious) guy. I wouldn't mind him being in TNA on a somewhat regular basis.

Dolph Ziggler got a cake for his birthday on 7/27 at a WWE live event. He smashed some in AJ Lee's face, and then hugged her before Lilian Garcia sang "Happy Birthday". Pretty cool.

JBL is taking time off to do some more mountain-climbing. That could be an opening for Alex Riley to impress as a commentator.

Here's JR's latest blog, which included advice for up-and-coming stars. It applies to all walks of life I think.

Booker profiled, Interviews with JoMo/Mickie/Shamrock, Sorensen returns to the ring, Rock talks WCW, more on #August1Warning, WWE live event notes, TNA's problem, TNA does well on YouTube, more on Jake Roberts, MVP visits, go to WM30, and Questions on Amore, Bo Dallas, a Kane rumor, and firing Hogan/Bischoff

Here's a story on Booker T. visiting Houston. I continue to remain curious as to what they'll do with him now that he isn't GM. But it's good to not know all the answers!

The former John Morrison talked about his time in WWE as a guest on a podcast. It's a shame that he's not in WWE or TNA. He still works the indies, so maybe he'll end up back on TV at some point.

Mickie James also talked. I can't be the only one who wants her to change her theme music, though as far as giving me a reason to hate her character goes, that song works well.

Jesse Sorensen returned to the ring for an independent promotion. Note that he wasn't cleared to do so while in TNA. I hope he doesn't get re-injured.

Smackdown dark matches, more from Sabin, OVW cameo on Impact, next week's TNA main event, Interviews with Anderson/Natalya/Bellas, Crimson talks TNA, Booker T. Day report, WWE PPV name change official, more on DT Porter, more on Sorensen, fight in the crowd during Raw, Scott Hall update, #August1Warning (new TNA performer?), Impact audience, and Questions on WSX, Cornette/ROH, Candice, and Summerslam

In the dark match ahead of the 8/2 Smackdown, the Wyatt Family beat Tons of Funk. Bray cut a promo after the match in regards to Kane. Apparently they did the same match twice?

After the 8/2 Smackdown, Alberto Del Rio beat Dolph Ziggler in a Street Fight. Ziggler then connected with a Zig Zag. Pretty cool that they ended the taping with Ziggler.

Here's more from Chris Sabin's recent interview. It's still very weird that he's TNA Champion after all those years being notably lower on the card.

The man playing Bully Ray's lawyer on Impact was OVW announcer Dean Hill.

Sorensen update, ex-FCW wrestler charged with murder, Interviews with Maestro/Ryback/Nash/Sabin, Hall no longer accountable, more on Booker T. Day, Del Rio hurt, Orton returns, Kofi/Show/Ricardo/Keibler updates, Dixie addresses fans, Lawler to wrestle, and Questions on an '80s name, the Bryan angle, TNA vs. ROH, and Aries

Jesse Sorensen corrected a claim that was made on a Gofundme.com page associated with him. He was respectful to Bischoff and others on Twitter, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone else who made those claims on the Gofundme page.

Former FCW wrestler DT Porter has been charged with murder. More here. Sh*t just got real. That's some pretty scary stuff.

Update: Even more here and here. Ah, the old "I was hacked" defense. Kurt Angle would be proud.

Former WCW wrestler The Maestro was interviewed. Wrestling has some crazy gimmicks, no?

Scott Hall has left DDP's "Accountability Crib" to move into an apartment with his son Cody. I hope that's the right decision for his health.

Main Event Reax - 7/24/13, rapper influenced by WWE, WWE facts, Mysterio mother update, Interviews with Edge/Percy Watson/Funkadactyls, Hogan/Bischoff appearance, more from Sorensen, more wrestling in baseball, Stacy returning?, even more on JR/Paige, Booker T. Day, Lawler almost missed Raw, more on Total Divas, and Questions on Kane joining the Wyatts, TNA's releases, the Summerslam title match, Mania towns, and blaming Bischoff

Main Event:
I don't know who (if anyone) writes Colter's promos, but they're consistently hilariously non-PC.

I loved the ring psychology of Sheamus vs. Swagger. With SO. MUCH. WRESTLING. every week, it's tough to differentiate matches. They did a good job standing out from the pack.

Sin Cara vs. Drew was fine. Like I said, there's just so much wrestling in a week that matches that don't have any backstory and aren't between big stars feel somewhat meaningless.

You already know what I'm going to say here: Sandow cut another good promo. I hope his character starts to progress in the months to come as he goes for the Title.

Sandow vs. Gabriel really got good in its final stage. I wouldn't mind a rematch. I can't be the only one who's getting tired of just straight-up wrestling without much in the way of story to some of the matches. NXT has a good deal of ring work, but there are a lot of stories going on as well to make those matches important.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Bella apology, Warrior responds to Vince, post-Raw dark match, more WWE charity, Interviews with Bryan/Foley/Austin/Stacy, WWE's thoughts on Bryan, TNA releases Sorensen, big TNA meeting, more on JR/Paige, Raw audience, and Questions on how Sabin's win changes things, the WWE Performance Center, booing Sheamus, and Angle vs. Aces and Eights

Brie Bella apologized for her wardrobe malfunction on Raw. WWE wasn't too happy with that happening, but it wasn't intentional.

Ultimate Warrior responded to Vince McMahon welcoming him back to WWE. Warrior's always an interesting read. I'd love to see an interview with the two of them like JR did with HBK and Bret.

In case you needed more proof that Daniel Bryan is a Terminator: After Raw, the announced Mark Henry vs. John Cena match saw a Shield run-in. Bryan came out to set things up for a 6-man tag, which Cena, Henry, and Bryan won. It could be the Summer of the Dragon?

WWE and E! are partnering with Make-A-Wish, which they should be commended for.

More on TNA live event problems, Interviews with Dr. Tom/CW Anderson/Dreamer, WWE PPV name change?, JR talks Paige, Savage speculation, #AskDixie, Smackdown audience, NXT release, and Questions on the state of TNA, keeping Hogan, and the recent TNA live event

Bruce Prichard was responsible for talents being licensed. Maybe it is a good thing that he's gone. The question is, though, who is going to take over his responsibilities? He had a number of them and they were all important.

Speaking of Prichards, Bruce's brother Dr. Tom spoke about TNA. Apparently either some trolls or idiots got the two of them confused. He paints a less-than-rosy picture of that company. The time is now to address the problems there. As for FCW not producing any stars, that's laughable. For one, FCW can only train who's been signed and once people graduate from FCW, it's up to WWE Creative and Management to use them properly. So you can't put but so much blame on FCW or its trainers.

ECW's CW Anderson talked for 90 minutes about the entirety of his career. I haven't seen much of him, but supposedly he's one of those guys who could have/should have been a bigger star than he was.

TNA live event fiasco, Interviews with Katie Lea Burchill (Winter)/Miz/Ziggler, JR talks WWE vs. TNA and Paige, and Questions on Y2J, the Performance Center, RVD in WWE, Bruce Prichard, and the X-Division Title

TNA had licensing issues at a live event this weekend, meaning that six wrestlers were unable to compete. Among them were TNA Champion Chris Sabin. They were in Missouri and the wrestlers in question (also Garett Bischoff, Wes Brisco, Jay Bradley, Miss Tessmacher, and Gail Kim) didn't have licenses to wrestle there. Here's a report from the show. Also of note is that James Storm is uninjured. Needless to say, the licensing situation is not what TNA needs right now and needs to be addressed. As for that low attendance, that's quite disappointing. I definitely don't blame Sabin since he's just started being pushed. I don't know what they need to do to increase business, but it needs to be done sooner rather than later. I do think it's good that TNA tried to make things up to the people there.

Update: Word has it that the situation is the result of an oversight by TNA management. They were late in requesting the licenses for those performers.

The former Katie Lea Burchill/Winter was interviewed. If it wasn't for the budget issues, I'd like to see her back in TNA. I think the WWE gimmick was going to revolve around brother/sister incest, which probably isn't high on WWE's list of things to promote. It was interesting to say the least. I loved her theme song as Winter and think that she always had a good look.

Sheamus cleared, Interviews with Natalya/WWE writer, Wrestler hosting Summerslam, WWE Con?, Storm hurt, more from SDCC, more on "Total Divas", NXT on the road, Destination X attendance, Punk injury, and Questions on Bret Hart, turning down the WWE Hall, Vince passing the torch, wrestling as a sport, and the whereabouts of Santino and Hornswoggle

Sheamus has been cleared to return to the ring, despite this nasty bruise. Ouch. It's like it's not considered a good match anymore unless someone gets seriously hurt.

Natalya talked about "Total Divas" in a piece centered on cars of all things. It gets the word out about WWE at least.

Someone who's written material for WWE's commentators was interviewed. Remember when commentators talked about the wrestlers and didn't have to make goofy references that don't really add anything to the match? There's a difference between comparing a wrestler to a fictional character and cracking jokes to seem relevant.

The Miz will be hosting Summerslam, further separating him from being taken seriously as a wrestler. I guess it's better than hiring a celebrity who knows very little about WWE.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Y2J wraps up, WWE @ SDCC news, more Total Divas hype, Interviews with Axel/Joe/Rudy Boy/Kazarian/Warrior/DiBiase Sr., NXT Diva update, X-Division stars update, part-time WWE stars update, more wrestling/MLB connections, more on WWE leak story, Mysterio update, Doink autopsy result, choose BFG Series matches, Destination X audience, and Questions on royalties, the future, the WWE Hall, and Spider-man

Since it's not a spoiler anymore, Chris Jericho's final match for WWE for the time being was on Smackdown. He's off to do Fozzy through sometime in October. No word on when he'll be back wrestling, but from the sound of things, he's not coming back immediately after the tour. I'd guess that he'll be back around Mania season, but you never know with him.

There will be some WWE-related comic books coming out later this year, penned by Mick Foley. That could be pretty cool.

Here's the latest teaser for "Total Divas", involving John Cena and Nikki Bella's relationship.

Curtis Axel talked about the Intercontinental Championship and more. Pretty cool to see that picture of him next to his father. I hope he does bring prestige back to the Title. Of course, Creative needs to help with that.  I think him starting off as McGillicutty kind of helped him: he didn't get to rest on his laurels as a 3rd-generation star. As for his mic skills being an issue: this promo at the end of NXT Season 2 was memorable for all the wrong reasons. I think it's cool that he pulls lines from other places. I don't listen to country music, so I wouldn't catch the references.

JR talks Y2J, WWE meets Wizard World, D'Lo talks TNA departure, note on TNA budget cuts, Interviews wih Joe/Henry/Ryback+Miz/Bellas, "Legends of Wrestling" in Miami, Tamina before WWE, the X-Division Title, TNA statement on Prichard, hell freezes over, and Questions on Brodus Clay, TNA PPVs, Del Rey, and Jacqueline

JR talked about Chris Jericho going back on hiatus. I also suspect that we'll see him again in the future, though it's always a case of him wanting to come back and having the right opponents and such.

Here's a press release for upcoming appearances for WWE stars at Wizard World events. What's the over/under on Superman/Cena references?

D'Lo Brown talked about leaving TNA.

The primary reason for TNA's budget concerns is said to be going on the road: they're spending a lot of money to do it, but not getting enough revenue in return. Going live and going on the road seemingly hasn't resulted in much, if any, gains for the company. I definitely understand wanting to go on the road, as a LOT of people have wanted/suggested that in the past few years. It just hasn't worked out.

Main Event Reax - 7/17/13, Lesnar press, Y2J spoiler, Orton injured(?), Destination X talents, Bischoff puts over departing TNA stars, Bella injury, TNA ref in NXT, wrestling at SDCC, Interviews with Helms/Ziggler/Steele, major TNA shake-up, and Questions on WWE factions, Ryback, WWE in other countries, and the MEM

Main Event:
Christian vs. Fandango wasn't bad at all. I definitely think the hype has died down for Fandango, but I suppose he still has some momentum.

Nice Divas' match. Natalya is quite the ring general. It's a shame that WWE can't figure out what to do with Layla. She's got some very pretty offense.

Nothing really "wrong" with Gabriel vs. Slater. They're always good for a fine match. Both guys continue to develop, and it looks like it will be a while before either is in contention for titles.

That was a really good ending segment. Maybe 3MB will turn face now? Not that that's the important part. The Wyatts are a pretty good act right now, thanks to Bray's amazing promo skills. I can't wait to see where they go from here.

Smackdown audience, Cena/Bryan story notes, WWE meets MLB, Sheamus update, TNA appearances, Interviews with Hendrix/Jericho, WWE Hall update, NFL star to WWE?, Edge gets award, ROH star updates, Raw audience, more TNA releases, new TNA hires?, and Questions on RVD, WM30, the WWE Hall, Double J, and OVW

Smackdown's audience this week was down to 2.28 million. So much for that bump from Punk's appearance carrying over. There's some serious rebuilding needing for the blue brand.

Here are some spoilers for the Cena/Bryan angle: Footage from "Total Divas" will be used to promote the feud, since Cena and Bryan are dating the Bella Twins. Just in case you didn't know that reality shows were "works". Also, the McMahons will be involved: Vince will be against Bryan getting the title shot. So, yes, WWE can rain on just about any parade. If Cena can remain serious and Bryan can... well, be Bryan, this might can be saved, but some of that stuff doesn't sound good on paper (screen).

The winner of MLB's Home Run Derby was handed a replica of the WWE Championship. Story here and here. Pretty cool. I always like when wrestling gets positive mainstream press.

MITB injuries and notes, more on Warrior's return, more Performance Center interviews, interesting Henry note, Interviews with RVD/Sheamus, more on Total Divas, WWE Creative leak, and Questions on monster faces, WWF vs. WWF, the brand split, and the Wyatts

C.M. Punk was injured at MITB, requiring stitches: graphic photos here and here. Ouch. He was helped to the back after the match.

Rob Van Dam also needed staples and chipped a tooth.

Sheamus and Christian are also said to be banged up from the main event, with Christian also having chipped teeth and a possible concussion.

Cody Rhodes was busted open in his MITB match, requiring five stitches.

Add all that up and you get that ladder matches are really dangerous and need to be special and rare. Is this sports entertainment or a demolition derby?

X-Division Championship update, Interview with Sheamus, formerly blacklisted WWE star back in the fold, cool Heyman photo, and Questions on Brooke Hogan, WWE in FL, being a "smart fan", killing WCW, and Saturday Morning Slam

TNA will have a tournament to crown a new X-Division Champion. Qualifying matches begin this week on Impact.

Speaking of this week's X-Division themed Impact, I'm starting to think that Sabin should win the TNA Title just to shake things up for a while (he can lose it back in time for Bully vs. Styles at BFG). God knows that TNA could use something fresh and new.

Sheamus talked about the WWE Performance Center. Sounds like some cool stuff there.

WWE Money In The Bank Preview

Read on for how I'd book tonight's Money In The Bank PPV.

More Performance Center notes, Interviews with Cornette/Henry/DH Smith, Cena on TV, Updates on RVD and Riley, and Questions on a dream interview, interacting with wrestlers, The Rock, the WWE warehouse, and calling people's mommas

Here's a solid list of interviews from the WWE Performance Center. I love that it's not just "here's how to do some holds". This is a LLLLLOOOONNNNGGGGG way from the early days (ask Batista about DSW).

Jim Cornette was also interviewed. Dude is pretty hilarious, and sometimes has some good points - WWE being the industry leader and Creative giving people characters. Glad that he's lost weight.

Mark Henry talked. I still can't get over how awesome that retirement speech was. One of those "old school" guys who know what they're doing. It sounds like he might be hanging it up "for real" soon, but you never know with him. Very good interview.

John Cena will be on Monday's "Live with Kelly and Michael". But will he be Champ?

Full Performance Center press conference and other notes, Interviews with Hardy/Daniels/Ambrose/Henry, more on "Total Divas", Impact audience, and Questions on turning Cena heel (again), topping HBK vs. Taker, the Wyatts on Twittah, technicalities, and MITB

Here's the full press conference for the opening of WWE's Performance Center. I think them opening that might be important or something?

Jeff Hardy was interviewed by little Jimmys. This is the future of journalism I think.

Christopher Daniels talked about never going to WWE and more. Entertaining guy. I like the idea of making the most of what's given to you instead of waiting for the right character, and opportunity. I like him alright, but I don't think he's someone that WWE needed/needs to sign.

Here are some first-hand notes on the WWE Performance Center. It sounds like they really know what they're doing. I like the idea of different trainers for different skill/experience levels. I thought Steve Keirn was out, but apparently not. The idea that WWE higher-ups could watch everything they do immediately is really cool. The doctor idea is also very important.

Cena promotes the Twittah Machine, WWE Performance Center notes, Interviews with Austin/RVD/Lawler, WWE financial note, another city could run Mania, and Questions on Ryback, Cena lifting, TNA's budget cuts, the Wyatts, and RVD

John Cena was part of a presentation on WWE's use of social media. This is something they do REALLY well.

Triple H posted two photos of the new WWE Performance Center. A lot more from that after the break.

Stone Cold talked about Tough Enough, HHH taking over WWE, the "What?" chants, and more. I do think that WWE has something to appeal to just about everyone now. TNA definitely doesn't have that. It's almost exclusively super-angry, serious wrestlers. Hopefully more people will do something to combat the "What?" chants. It's getting REALLY old.

Rob Van Dam talked to WWE.com about his return. For those who haven't seen him wrestling: When he's "on", he's on. RVD is definitely seen as a guy with an attitude problem. I hope he can stay motivated this go 'round. Especially note what he says about not substituting the wrestling for high-flying stuff. Of course, he does high-flying stuff, but he makes those moves mean something but not going 100 mph all match.

Bonus Rambling: The State of TNA

Read on for something of a rant about the state of TNA and what "could be"

Main Event Reax - 7/10/13, Kane update, a look at the Eater of Worlds, NXT note, Interviews with Ambrose/Austin, TNA expands internationally, WWE contest, Raw guest profiled, Raw audience, and Questions on faces and heels, RVD, WWE post-Vince, Ryback, and the WWF

Main Event:
Zeb Colter is amazing. Pure heel.

Cesaro vs. Ziggler was a thing of beauty. Wow. What's scary is that these two are only 32 and might not even be in their primes yet! I hope both guys will have great futures for both themselves and WWE.

Cool post-match. I look forward to seeing all three men compete at MITB.

Good Rhodes Scholars promo (as always).

That was pretty weird. I guess they just wanted to have a babyface win, without hurting Rhodes Scholars. It felt kind of cluttered with all the people at ringside. Not something I was crazy about seeing, though maybe they were bringing the crowd back down after a big technical wrestling match. A good show is like a roller coaster instead of non-stop "good matches" with a lot of bumps and such.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Maria comments on failed Mania match, post-Raw dark match, WWE responds to allegations, Smackdown audience, Diva hurt, deaf wrestler aspires to WWE, Cena's 300th wish, Booker update, Kane "hurt", Interview with Del Rio, Hogan pals at baseball game, NXT stars profiled, Morgan leaves TNA, and Questions on the IC Title, Wellness failures, TNA problems, and Miz

Maria is claiming that the Bella Twins cost her a WWE return. The story that's been reported is that The Bellas, Kelly Kelly, Maryse, and Maria were set to be a part of a 10-Diva tag at WrestleMania facing off with 5 current Divas led by Kaitlyn (who was Divas' Champion at the time). There was dissension in the ranks of the past Divas, to say the least. Obviously the Bellas are back, but I don't expect the others to return. How this affects the status of Maria's boyfriend, ROH star Mike Bennett, in possibly going to WWE is unknown. He had a tryout some time ago.

After Raw, John Cena defeated Ryback to retain the WWE Championship. BAH GAWD CENA OVERCAME THE ODDS. Yeah, I don't think anyone was surprised about that result.

WWE responded to recent claims about sexual harrassment in NXT, which have circulated over the Internet from former workers. Does anyone else see the problem with them investigating themselves instead of an independent 3rd-party looking into it?

ROH stars "moving up"?, What if Catcus Jack came to WWF instead of Mankind?, TNA pay updates, why TNA titles disappeared, other TNA changes, praise for Knockouts match, NXT notes, Interview with Ivelisse, and Questions on Cesaro, battles royal, the McMahons angle, Ryder, and the Rumble

Former ROH World Champions Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards are (according to Richards) in talks with both WWE and TNA. All I've seen from them are a few incredibly dry, emotionless promos. Both guys are young with a lot of experience and obviously ROH saw something in them, so maybe they can turn things around if they make it to the major leagues.

Mick Foley did a "what if?" on his career - what if he came to WWF as Cactus Jack instead of Mankind? Interesting perspective. I bet some fans were pretty upset that he didn't come in as Jack.

More on TNA's pay issues: the blame seems to be on TNA's parent company, Panda Energy.

A number of office workers have left TNA, likely as part of their ongoing budget issues. No "names" were let loose.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Briscoes-WWE update, why Bret Hart's not in WWE, Interviews with Joey Ryan/Sgt. Slaughter/Cody Rhodes, USA Network showing Total Divas, and Questions on Benoit, The Shield, the Wyatt Family, Doink, and Cena's shirts

Former ROH mainstays The Briscoes were sitting front row at a WWE live event. This was likely because they were left tickets by friends in the company, as has happened in the past. They have not as of yet been signed by WWE and it is no guarantee that they will.

Bret Hart talked about not being under a WWE Legends contract. Is anyone still interested in seeing him (outside of an occasional appearance in Canada)? I think his character's done just about all there is for him to do.

Joey Ryan was interviewed about TNA. I think he really made a mark in his initial angle- much more than a number of Gut Check performers. Talented guy with a nice gimmick. I'm glad he's not bitter about the budget cuts.

Everything else from yesterday is about the break.

Watts update, more on Sting-WWE, TNA roster note, Interviews with Williams/Orton/Total Divas' star's fiance, and Questions on a mystery wrestler, wrestling memories, TNA live events, and ROH

"Cowboy" Bill Watts is suffering from back problems, as reported by Jim Ross. There's not much of a story there to comment on, other than apparently Watts isn't the most liked guy in the business.

Poor JR had to respond to the "Sting to WWE" rumors for the 947th time in that link as well. It doesn't look likely. Even if Sting is going to WWE, he's contracted to TNA through the end of the year or so.

Jessie Godderz is working live events for TNA, so he's sticking around for the time being. I wouldn't rule out any more releases, though.

Query on WWE vs. TNA, fan jumps railing, Interviews with Bully Ray/Mickie/AJ/Axel, another Punk live event, and Questions on the Attitude Era, TNA's schedule, and TTTT on DVD

First up, a query:
1. I'd still list it as "highly unlikely" that we'll get any kind of WWE vs. TNA event. Unless WWE is incredibly desperate for business (they're making hundreds of millions a year), both companies end up on the same networks (not likely), or one side buys the other (also not likely), it's going to stay a pipe dream.

A fan attacked a wrestler at an indie event. Yeah, don't do that...

Bully Ray was interviewed ahead of a live event. He does make a pretty great heel.

Interviews with Ziggler/Titus/Natalya/Bushwhacker Luke/Lawler/Axel, WWE "still employed" list, Punk added to live event, Independece Day tweets, and Questions on Gut Check, height, and WCW on Raw

Dolph Ziggler talked about his recent concussion, previous gimmicks, and more. A really talented guy who WWE doesn't always know what to do with.

Here's another interview with Ziggler. He always comes across well in "puff pieces" like this.

Yoshi Tatsu, Primo, and Epico all worked WWE Live events in Japan. None of them have wrestled on U.S. TV in 2 1/2 months, so you'd be forgiven for forgetting that they're still there. They're lucky that WWE's not having budget issues like TNA! Of course, if it wasn't for the Japanese tour, would Tatsu have been used?

C.M. Punk has been added to a live event on 7/13, his first live event since returning.

Superstars and Impact Wrestling Reax - 7/4/13

Main Event Reax - 7/3/13, Ricardo update, Interviews with Bully Ray, TNA talents gone, guest TNA manager, Kane unmasked, new WWE signings arrive, HBK contest, TNA's cost issues, Taz update, WWE job posting, WWE stars meet military, Smackdown taping profiled, and Questions on TnT, Vince, McIntyre, and Florida

Main Event:
Based Sandow. What else is there to say? He's always good on the mic.

Christian vs. Sandow was a very solid encounter. Christian's veteran wiles came into play here. Sandow continues to improve in the ring. I don't know if he's quite ready to win the briefcase, but I think it might be worth rolling the dice.

Always fun to hear a Zeb Colter promo. Top heel act for sure.

Swagger returned to form in the ring here. I'm always pretty impressed by his ring acumen. Sin Cara is fine and I hope one day he gets pushed.

Curt Hawkins sighting! And it seems like he's improved his game since we've last seen him. That said, this was Big E's match to win.

Lesnar update, Nash seeks way back into WWE, post-Raw dark match, Wellness violation, Briscoes update, Heyman's father passes, Raw audience, new WWE market, and Questions on Taz, the IWC, Benoit, Swagger, and Wyatt

Brock Lesnar has been announced for the 7/15 Raw, which is the night after MITB. I don't think that will surprise anyone. He's set to face C.M. Punk at Summerslam.

Kevin Nash is seeking a match with C.M. Punk and is not looking to return to TNA. Yesterday confirmed for slow news day. Why do we keep giving this guy attention?

John Cena beat Ryback in a Tables match after Raw. Yeah, Ryback could use a big win at MITB.

Ricardo Rodriguez was suspended for 30 days following a violation of WWE's Wellness Policy. That's a shame. He's a very enjoyable act. I hope this is the last time we hear this about him.

Interviews with Doink/Cody Hall/Gunner, Naylor remembered, ex-ECW Champ has surgery, TNA name change, Punk on Smackdown, lots of names at Wizard World, Doink memories, Smackdown audience, RVD/Y2J updates, and Questions on questions, the McMahons, HHH, and Cena

PWInsider.com posted a long interview with Matt Borne ("Doink") from 2010. It's always cool to hear from someone from a previous era.

Triple H put over the contributions of NXT's Rob Naylor. That makes it sound like he could be returning down the line, and that he chose to depart.

What about Raven? He underwent shoulder surgery a few weeks ago. Before anyone asks, I don't see him in WWE or TNA any time soon. He's been out there for a few years now and neither company's picked him back up.

Cody and Scott Hall were profiled. They are DEAD ON about younger wrestlers needing to slow down. WWE (or TNA for that matter) should wait to see how he's wrestling in a few years before deciding whether or not to sign him. For that matter, they should see how his dad's doing. They don't want the bad publicity of hiring the son of someone with Hall's past unless Hall stays clean.

More on Doink, Interviews with Big E/JR/Bateman/Hennig/Benoit sister, TNA retires titles, and Questions on physical and mental health, the X Title, and Ryback vs. Lesnar

Sean "X-Pac" Waltman talked about the death of Matt "Doink" Borne. Always sad to hear about someone succumbing to terrible drug use.

Here are highlights for Big E Langston on this weekend's WWE live events.

Jim Ross talked about the WWE Performance Center and more. I'm ready for that thing to open already! We keep hearing about it and it's not ready quite yet. Grrr...

TNA retired the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, which they should have done a long time ago. I'm glad they finally got rid of those. ODB and Eric Young (who, as you might have guessed from his name is a male) were champions for 478 days. No matter how much better TNA has been since Bruce Prichard took over Creative, there's still that massive amount of lolTNA existing. To be fair, they weren't a big part of the show after a certain point, but they were still technically champions. I personally wouldn't mind if they dropped the X-Division Title, too, since it's basically the Acrobat of the Month Title.
