More TNA taping notes including a big injury, update on top Japanese star to WWE, Interview with Brodus/Ambrose/WWE tryout and Questions on TNA's tapings, "leaked" posters and Taker

Friday's TNA taping was a legitimate sellout for a show featuring the return of Matt and Jeff Hardy as a team. That's pretty cool.

TNA security was looking to stop videos from leaking out of the NYC tapings. I don't know how possible that is in 2014. Fans who want spoilers are almost certainly going to get them in some way. Why fight it?

The first NYC taping drew around 900 fans, higher than the 650 originally reported. That's better.

Tommy Dreamer worked as a producer for the final TNA-NYC taping, not appearing before the crowd. I imagine they had already used him at previous tapings there.

TNA star hospitalized, More TNA taping notes, AAA vs. WWE, TNA stars in Wrestle-1, Interviews with Del Rio/Foley/Jey Uso, Impact audience and Questions on the state of the business, the WCW Hall of Fame, Kurrgan, old logos and PPV buys

Ethan Carter III went to the hospital after a recent TNA taping, requiring a number of staples from being busted open hardway. The NYC tapings definitely have a hardcore vibe to them.

The Thursday night TNA taping is being praised as one of the best events TNA's ever put on. I'm glad they're turning things around in that regard.

Spike executive Scott Fishman was present at a recent TNA taping. He's had a long-term relationship with TNA. I suspect the taping went a long way in determining the future of TNA on the network.

Company morale was up after the NYC tapings, which is also good. The crowd was said to be really into what was taped.

Query on Lei'D Tapa in WWE, Hogan endorsement, TNA in NYC notes, a new way to watch the WWE Network, WWE special airing on Monday and Questions on The Shield split, Total Divas, Reby-TNA, female wrestlers in ROH and FCW on the WWE Network

First up, a query:
1. I haven't seen anything about former TNA talent Lei'D Tapa working as a Rosebud in WWE. The former Rosita, on the other hand, had that honor recently.

Hulk Hogan endorsed Team USA in the World Cup, drawing international coverage. Slow news day in the wrestling world.

TNA made use of the in-house production staff at the Manhattan Center for their recent Impact tapings. I wonder if TNA would run there regularly should they be unable to do a lot in Universal Studios.

Interviews with Brodus/RVD/Hernandez/Adamle, Brad Maddox resurfaces, Summerslam poster, Hornswoggle update, ex-WWE names come to TNA, WWE announcer gone, surprising BFG location, Questions on HHH's interviews, the Network, NXT, a cash-in on Sunday and WWE's biggest match in history

Brodus Clay talked about what led to his WWE release and more. I wish there was a brand split where WWE would be "forced" to use lower-level talents in more prominent roles instead of the same people multiple times a week for years on end.

RVD talked about MITB and more. Honestly, he always comes across as kind of a douchebag to me. His talk about being a villain and working the South vs. ECW was pretty interesting.

Hernandez talked about his work in TNA and more. It seemed like TNA always hit an impasse when figuring out to book him. The feud with Matt Morgan and winning the Feast or Fired briefcase were all he really got to do as a singles star. I think he works best as a tag guy, personally. I do think TNA should have called him or something once his contract expired instead of him finding out on the website!

Main Event Reax - 6/24/14, Raw notes, TNA-NYC press, TNA title match at Wrestle-1, TNA returns, Interviews with Zbyszko/Reigns/Jimmy Uso/Cesaro, WWE charity, NXT trainer, another NXT injury, Vickie leaves, Aries on ring change, Raw audience, former AWA announcer passes, Low Ki on return, another WWE titleholder hurt and Questions on McIntyre, Styles-WWE, Punk, MITB and TNA's identity

Main Event:
That was a pretty good promo from Ziggler. He can deliver when they give him the chance to.

Good opening match! I liked Rollins vs. Kofi specifically.

Fun post-match to sell the ladder match for Sunday.

I really liked the Fandango/Layla segment. That was actually pretty sweet.

That match was kind of chaotic, and it pretty much just served as a backdrop for Summer Rae vs. Layla, but I liked the segment for what it was. Bo continues to get by on luck.

Bo's perfectly annoying in this role.

Good enough tag match between R-Truth/Woods and Rybaxel. I don't see either team being at title level at the moment, but they did well here.

I haven't heard the word "hermaphrodite" in quite a while. But the Dusts vs.Rybaxel is good by me.

I really liked Reigns' promo and that whole segment. The match with Kane should be pretty good.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA roster note, more on GFW-NJPW, Interviews with Cesaro/Bully Ray, WWE tag team wrestler injured, former Knockout in WWE, other cameos, TNA announcement upcoming, Bret back in WWE, NXT injuries, NXT preview, Smackdown audience, the future of TNA's ring and Questions on Kofi, "smark" negativity, Vince's reaction to Punk, and faces vs. heels

TNA World Champion Bobby Lashley is now just being billed as "Lashley" on the TNA website, following the likes of Rusev and Cesaro in WWE. I guess it could be argued the name Bobby isn't really intimidating for a strong guy like him. But Bobby Roode was champ for a good while.

Here are the official details of the deal between GFW and NJPW. So, yes, it does look like we could see AJ Styles in Jarrett's new promotion. GFW could be a game-changer. It's too early to wonder if they're a threat to WWE or TNA, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on. If they get a national TV deal, things will get really interesting.

Cesaro talked about Daniel Bryan's injury and more. I liked the segue from Bryan getting hurt to Cesaro becoming champ.

Ziggler homage, WWE live event notes, more names heading to TNA and Questions on Hebner and Chyna in the Hall, no-compete clauses, Cesaro vs. Brock and the Network expanding

Dolph Ziggler pulled out a Broski Boot on a live event in Long Island in tribute to Zack Ryder. Ryder was booked on the other loop, losing to Bo Dallas. That's a damn shame. Ryder was REALLY over for a while there and now he's back where he was before the gimmick change.

The Great Khali worked live events this weekend, beating Titus O'Neil. I wonder how over his outside India.

The Ascension worked live events for the main roster, defeating R-Truth and Xavier Woods. There's not a ton left for them to do in NXT, so I'm glad they're getting a look as possibly coming up to the main shows.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Stardust update, Interview with Jey Uso, big GFW working agreement, NXT star update, Summerslam poll, Russo blog and Questions on TNA picking up WWE names, saving the WWE Network and the Impact Zone

As expected, Cody Rhodes is working as Stardust on live events now. He teamed with Goldust to beat Rybaxel this weekend.

Jey Uso was interviewed. It's pretty cool to think that Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt, Curtis Axel and the Usos used to hang out as kids. I'm glad they're getting more comfortable and going further in WWE. It's WAY too soon to think of them splitting.

Jeff Jarrett's GFW promotion has a new working agreement in place with New Japan Pro Wrestling. So, Jarrett could be able to pull from talent from top promotions in both Mexico and Japan. That's pretty impressive, and I hope it pays off for him. He's not going to be able to top WWE from a sports-entertainment standpoint, but using talents from Mexico and Japan is a pretty big deal in forging a different identity. GFW has some good things lined up, so it could make a big splash. It's unknown how this deal affects NJPW working with ROH. As of now, NJPW and ROH are still working together.

TNA touts new champion, provider not airing WWE PPV?, Interviews with Bully Ray/Kizarny, Impact audience and Questions on Punk in 2K15, ECW's legacy, the WWE HoF, NXT and Lashley

TNA put out a press release on its new World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley. I'm more than OK with them rolling the dice with Lashley as champ. I hope it leads to something interesting, as things have been rather lackluster in TNA for a while.

AT&T U-verse is not listing Money In The Bank as airing, despite showing Slammiversary. You know who is showing it for cheaper than they would? The WWE Network. Get signed up if you haven't already.

Because this is where journalism is in 2014, Bully Ray talked about Mae Young passing gas. There's also some stuff about his injury history.

Interviews with Hawkins/Miz/Cena/Kazarian/Kevin Hart/Rosebud, potential MITB spoilers, Iron Sheik talks World Cup, WWE financial update, WWE gimmick change official and Questions on 3MB, Adam Rose and ECW retreads

Curt Hawkins talked about his WWE release and more. The Edgeheads was a great idea for Edge's character. I'm glad WWE went with that. It probably is best for both sides for Hawkins to be outside WWE. He was really stuck in place career-wise.

The Miz gave two interviews, one with the Intelligencer and one with Philly.com. According to the former, Miz has been a top guy in WWE since 2006. Not so much. I do admire Miz going to so many interviews and such. He's quite valuable for that role. His drive has probably helped him remain relevant in the company.

John Cena talked about movies, his dad's diet and more. Cena's a hard worker and an all-around good guy. Hats off to his dad for getting in better shape.

TNA to permanently bring back six-sided ring?, Raw audience, Interviews with Rock/Batista/Kevin Hart/Angle, train with a WWE Hall of Famer, WWE press and Questions on Styles-WWE, Punk's walkout being a work, commercials during matches, edgier WWE content and Bray as Champion

TNA has a poll on their website asking if fans want them to keep the four-sided ring or switch back to the old six-sided ring. If the fans want a return to the old ring, it would be implemented as soon as the New York City tapings. Interestingly, a number of TNA workers have said the four-sided ring is less cumbersome to bump on. This was never as big of a deal for me as it apparently was for so many people. I don't know if it's "too little, too late" as far as getting lapsed fans back into TNA, but I'm glad they're addressing it.

Update: Austin Aries made his feelings known. Honestly, I'm siding with him here to a good degree.

Raw's audience was 4.12 million, virtually identical with the previous week. Nothing to really say in that case! It'd be interesting to do an analysis of what constitutes a statistically significant shift in each wrestling show's audience.

The Rock talked about bouts of depression he went through and the current state of his career. Rock has a lot of respect from me for all he's accomplished and all the people he's inspired. Very touching read.

Main Event Reax - 6/17/14, another TNA return, big event cut from WWE calendar, more WWE cuts, some WWE absences, Dusty talks Stardust, Aksana talks release, choices of WWE DVDs, Big Sting-WWE news, Kevin Von Erich talks Slammiversary, WWE live event notes and Questions on Rollins' heel turn, ratings, non-wrestling PPVs from WWE and AJ Lee

Main Event:
I really liked the opening segment as far as advancing Rollins' character. I'm a little split on there being two big ladder matches, but I like the idea of the contract being in play again this year. Was Ambrose vs. Rollins too much to ask for for MITB? Now they have to share the stage with others.

Kind of a silly Lana/Rusev segment. They're starting to get everything they can out of this one.

BAH GAWD RUSEV KILLED HIM. Yeah, I don't know how much more they can do with Rusev squashing people.

The Wyatts continue to have fun, creepy promos. I hope Luke and Bray both have big careers ahead of them. Rowan still strikes me as a supporting character, but that's OK for now.

I didn't expect Naomi to get the win over the Divas' Champ. The match itself was really good, but Paige shouldn't have lost unless it's building up something more important.

Ehhh... I don't care much about Naomi vs. Cameron BUT a triple threat for the title works for me.

I liked that promo from Sheamus and The Usos. Babyface promos don't have to be corny.

I can't wait for Kane vs. Ambrose!

That main event was pretty solid. I like the contrast between the quick, energetic Usos vs. The bigger Wyatts. I definitely like there being performers who aren't just 100 m.p.h. smaller guys.

Interview with BNB/NXT Diva, more Slammiversary notes, GFW update, Hardys reunion and Tommy Dreamer in TNA, Smackdown audience and Questions on HHH's sledgehammer, the Attitude Era, Rollins, splitting the WWE Title and Slater

Bad News Barrett promoted Raw. He's really getting some mileage out of this character.

Update: another Barrett appearance. I hope he really succeeds with this gimmick. He's a very talented wrestler.

There were a number of issues with cable providers with airing Slammiversary. No word on why.

Update: TNA no longer allows recording of their PPVs on cable providers. I guess they're trying to combat piracy? Good luck with that.

The Dallas Cowboys' appearance at Slammiversary got some press. That was TNA's goal. I wonder where things go from here, since it's not like they're building to Storm facing an NFL player.

Former Shield partners face off, WWE press, Slammiversary notes and Questions on Mania in Chicago, injuries, Vince's philosophies, Paige's booking and Vince Russo

Dean Ambrose faced Seth Rollins on this weekend's live events. I hope there are more talents at their level working in NXT right now and talents on he main roster who will reach that level, too. There are definitely some great performers working in WWE.

Emma went home to Australia to do press for WWE ahead of a summer tour there. I'm glad she's doing well. I think the best from her is yet to come.

John Cena talked about Father's Day and becoming a wrestler because of his dad. I'm pretty sure his dad still promotes in the Boston area.

TNA Slammiversary preview

Read on for my ideas for booking tonight's TNA PPV.

Query on Kid Kash, new MITB match, live event notes, NXT name to work big live event and Questions on WWE releases, Pat Patterson, Slammiversary and TNA tapings

First up, a query:
1. I haven't seen anything about Kid Kash in a good while. I'm under the impression he wasn't too thrilled with how things went during his TNA tenure. He's not the only talent to express that sentiment about working there!

The Usos vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper for the WWE Tag Team Championship is now set for MITB. They work well together.

With Cena and Bryan out, this weekend's live events were headlined by Sheamus vs. Kane. Kane won via DQ after a low blow. I don't picture Kane doing a low blow when he could just swing a chair or something, but whatever. I'll be curious to see how Kane fits into things going forward. I could see him leaving MITB as WWE Champion somehow, but I feel like WWE's thinking of going another route.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Slammiversary changes, Patterson's announcement, WWE press, Twitter fight, Cena update, Impact audience and Questions on JTG, no-compete clauses, TNA tapings, WWE releases and the Wyatts

MVP has been declared unable to compete at Slammiversary. This wasn't a big surprise. It's a shame, though, given how this was one of TNA's biggest shows of the year.

Update: The main event of Slammiversary will now be Eric Young vs. the respective winners of Aries vs. King and Lashley vs. Joe in a triple threat cage match. Are they unable to bring back the King of the Mountain match? This would be a perfect time and place. EY vs. Roode would also be good.

Pat Patterson publicly came out of the closet on the finale of "Legends' House". This was well-known to those inside the business and those who follow it, but this was the first time it had been announced publicly. I'm glad he's at a place where he's comfortable revealing that. I hope he does write an autobiography.

WWE makes 11 releases

Read on for my thoughts on WWE's releases yesterday.

Next NXT special update, more WWE Network ideas, TNA-ROH rumor update and Questions on Jarrett in the HoF, U.S.-only contests, Brie vs. Steph, live Smackdowns and winning MITB

NXT could have another live special in September. After their June 12th set of tapings, there isn't another one set until July 31. I think I might be itching for another big show by then.

WWE Network is considering more themed weeks like what was done for Warrior. I think the Network's still in its early stages in some ways as far as what it will eventually become. They have a LOT of content. They just need to figure out how to best use it. Some themed weeks would make sense.

TNA reached out to former X-Division Champion Jay Lethal to work Destination X, but due to his ROH contract, he can't do so. Someone else in TNA, independently of management, reached out to the current ROH Tag Team Champions ReDragon. They are also unable to work the show. As much as some of us want to see TNA vs. ROH matches, I don't see it happening anytime soon. There'd have to be some serious legal wrangling for a talent to appear on TV for the other company given the nature of their contracts.

Everything else from yesterday other than WWE's releases (to be covered in a separate post) is after the break.

Interviews with Stone Cold/MVP/EC3/Natalya, Flair set for MSG, new title match for Slammiversary and Questions on a Batista face turn, HHH's hammer, Cena vs. Wyatt, booking arenas and kneepads

Stone Cold said in a recent interview there have been delays in a return of Tough Enough and he's open to the possibility of another match, but isn't angling for one. As much as I'd love to see Steve open a can of whoop-ass on someone, I think he should only come back for a big match where he can deliver a top performance.

MVP gave an update on his status for Slammiversary. If MVP can't go, they need to have Abyss on standby.

Ric Flair is booked as appearing at WWE's next show in Madison Square Garden. Daniel Bryan has been pulled from the advertising. It will be interesting to see where Flair fits into the WWE puzzle.

Main Event Reax - 6/10/14, Smackdown match set, What happened after Raw, big WWE documentaries, Dreamer addresses TNA situation, Raw audience, Ambrose busted open and Questions on booking heels and faces, Taker vs. Brock again?, the PG rating and Paige/Emma post-NXT

Main Event:
That Rollins/Ziggler promo exchange was pretty darn good. I don't think it's QUITE time to turn things 100% over to guys like this from Cena, Orton, Show, Kane, etc., but there are some really talented people coming up the ranks. As for HHH's promo, I'm glad the segment ended with the focus being on Rollins vs. Ziggler since they're the full-time wrestlers. That said, I think HHH blaming the fans for making Bryan work such a high-risk style is a pretty valid way for him to get heat.

I did NOT see Jimmy getting an upset on Luke. It's just one win and doesn't define much, but it was a surprise. I'm OK with the Usos looking strong against the Wyatts, although I'd love for the Family to be the tag team champions. Heels to some degree are only as good as the faces they're up against (and vice versa).

I enjoyed Kofi's pre-match promo. I want more characterization from him. Maybe a girlfriend as a valet?

Lana really laid it in with that promo. The only I think I don't like about her act is it gets a lot more heat on Putin and Russia than Rusev.

Not a lot to say about Kofi vs. Rusev from a technical standpoint. Kofi did what he does really well and Rusev was pretty impressive with his offense.

The Layla/Summer stuff was a little silly, but I think they could have a pretty good match.

Rollins and Ziggler can really deliver. That was a treat. More experience working with big names is all Rollins and Ziggler need to break into that next level. I can see Rollins really being a big deal.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Cena update, more on Tamina's surgery, WWE Network plug,TNA live event note, Destination X update, new international TV deal for TNA, Slammiversary notes, WWE-Sting update, WWE Network-Xbox update, NXT lineup, Rose update, more Pro Wrestling 101, WWE press, WWE visitors, Smackdown audience, Flair update and Questions on Bryan taking the easy way out, indy stars in NXT, Ziggler, airing finishes on the App and the next WWE Champion

John Cena was originally set to face Bray Wyatt at a live event the night after he sustained a swollen eye. The match was turned into a six-man tag, with Cena and The Usos beating the whole Wyatt Family. WWE's not going to luck out with Cena's health forever. They need to be prepared for a time when he can't go.

Tamina's surgery was to repair her ACL and meniscus. She could miss several months of ring time. I could see her coming back as a face to combat AJ. It felt like WWE was going that route leading into WM30.

As noted on Raw, Entertainment Weekly plugged the WWE Network app in their latest issue. Thankfully it wasn't because of "Total Divas".

JR update, more on TNA-HOH, Cena hurt and Questions on Rollins' turn, sports entertainment, gimmick PPVs, putting younger talents over and Angle in WWE

Jim Ross has been released from the hospital, so presumably he's feeling better. That's good news.

Update: Ross was said to have been suffering from "stroke-like symptoms" before going in and had a minor stroke in the past. I hope he's OK going forward.

Bully Ray was pulled from his House of Hardcore bookings by TNA to appear at Spike's Guys Choice Awards alongside Velvet Sky, Jessie Godderz and Taryn Terrell. TNA could definitely use the publicity from that event. Could Spike not have used someone else from the roster, since Bully Ray was already booked?

Miz update, more on JR, Interview with Maria, more on TNA vs. HOH, Questions on wrestler sponsorships, Rollins' turn and WWE running MSG

The Miz returned to the ring as a heel recently, losing to Sheamus after a promo about being a movie star. It will be interesting to see what WWE does with him on the main roster, given the rumors of Ric Flair being his manager. I think it'd be natural for Summer Rae to manage him after them working on a movie together.

Jim Ross talked about his health as part of an interview last month. Not having the stress of WWE has definitely helped him in that regard.

Maria Kanellis talked about WWE, Mike Bennett and more. I wonder what the relationship between WWE and Maria is these days. I'm glad she's found peace with the Bellas. That was childish.

Latest GFW video, Interviews with Dreamer/Ziggler, JR hospitalized, Slammiversary update and note, a look at GFW, assorted WWE press, Impact audience, TNA name pulled from HOH show and Questions on the Network, Rollins' heel turn, indies working together, WWE's offer to former workers and the Heyman DVD

The latest video about Jeff Jarrett's GFW focuses on the talent scouting at Scott D'Amore's BCW. I hope GFW picks up some of the talents that have been missed or misused by WWE and TNA.

Tommy Dreamer talked about Rollins' heel turn and more. The Shield had already faced The Wyatts four times. When was this recorded!? I do think fans and bookers both need more patience in this day and age and not to fret over every little thing in wrestling. I also think way too much attention is put on age. If someone can still go, they can still go.

Jim Ross spent time in the hospital after returning home from the Cauliflower Alley Club annual meeting. I hope he's OK.

Update: Ross underwent a lot of tests, but is expected to be OK. Keep fighting, JR.

WWE is going ahead with a Sting DVD and we could be seeing him in WWE 2K15. I can't wait! Fans have wanted that for YEARS. I didn't expect WWE to acknowledge TNA, but it was pretty funny for them to basically insinuate his career ended when WCW did. It will be interesting to see how WWE treats TNA if/when the company goes under and WWE gets the video library. That's by no means an assured thing, but it's not out of the question, either.

John Cena granted a woman with leukemia's final wish to see him. That's very touching. He's a great guy.

Foley talks Rollins, Bourne update, more on Batista-WWE, options for WWE DVDs include TNA names, Interview with Devitt and Questions on WWE working with NJPW, refs being clued in, AJ Lee, WWE on SNL and the opening to WM30

Mick Foley gave his thoughts on Seth Rollins' heel turn. I continue to hope for the best!

Evan Bourne celebrated the six-year anniversary of his first match with WWE (on the ECW brand), leading to speculation he was done with the company. He put those rumors to rest. With Kofi Kingston, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Sin Cara (Hunico), Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn all available, does Bourne stand out enough to be brought back after two years with two Wellness strikes, or should they just wait for his contract to expire? I like Bourne as a competitor, but I don't know if it'd be worth it to give him any kind of serious push when they could use that spot for one of those other names. If he was brought back by now, he'd probably just be jobbing to Bo Dallas and/or Rusev like Kofi and the other low-level babyfaces.

DiGiorno's Pizza played off Rollins' heel turn. Pretty funny. Believe in pizza!

Main Event:
Barrett laid it in pretty rough on RVD there. I don't really expect Van Dam to get his heat back with a win, either.

At least Cody and Goldust are still cordial. I wonder if Dusty will come back to make peace between the two sides?

Goldust's teaming with Kofi? Doesn't he want to win?

That was a pretty darn good tag match. Kofi and Goldust both pulled off some impressive moves. It's amazing to see this level of athleticism from Goldust after his dismal TNA run years back.

That was a pretty good promo from Van Dam.

Pretty damn good match between Barrett and Van Dam. I think Cesaro's interference took away from it a little bit, but I was impressed by the action.

I can easily see Barrett, Cesaro and RVD in Money In The Bank. But a feud for the title works, too.

Live Payback report, MVP update, TNA returns, Impact lineup, what happened after Payback, Payback injury?, Punk/AJ update, Barrett's black eye, More Torito vs. Hornswoggle?, Batista addresses #Bluetista, Foley addresses Bray's loss, Smackdown audience, Hall of Famer appearance, next TNA special announced and Questions on a Wyatt breakup, the WWE Title situation, Cena's feuds and Dixie going through a table

Someone posted live thoughts from Payback. Having a "come down" match is important and shouldn't be overlooked when there are multiple main events. Having brawls all over the arena makes it difficult for the crowd to focus on one thing. That's a good point I didn't really think of.

MVP worked as a "general manager" for his other European bookings due to his injury. He was still on crutches. I hope TNA has a good backup plan for Slammiversary. How about EY vs. Abyss? MVP has no reason to reward Roode or Joe (whom I suggested previously)  and there's no babyface authority figure to oppose him. EY vs. Abyss already has heat to it as well.

Taryn Terrell and Manik are expected back on TNA TV shortly. That's great! Taryn makes a natural antagonist for the Beautiful People since she's not tied into the current mess of transitioning heels and babyfaces.

Diva face turn?, Hall of Famer done watching WWE, Foley talks WWE diss, TNA upset at online reports, Lawler appearance and Questions on more Shield vs. Wyatts, Punk coming back, NXT, other promotions on the WWE Network and Monday Night War pettiness

Summer Rae was paired with Dolph Ziggler to take on Fandango and Layla at Saturday's WWE live event. Could they be turning her face? And if so, would the WWE audience be open to that? Ziggler could definitely use something new to do and working with Summer Rae could be helpful for keeping him relevant.

"Superstar" Billy Graham offered a thoughtful critique of the current WWE product. I'm with him as far as not wanting to see a lot of the Hornswoggle/El Torito stuff, but I think in general he's missing the mark here. If he's just now figuring out WWE is a company of characters doing "sports entertainment" and getting fed up about it, he's been spared a lot. I actually like Adam Rose and Bo Dallas and I'm not alone in that sentiment.

More trouble for Sin Cara I, two TNA stars working reality show, Interviews with Barrett/Kevin Von Erich/Double J, TNA main eventer injured and Questions on multiple appearances in a night, Legends House, game shows on the WWE Network and Velocity

CMLL has stated they own the name Mistico for one of their performers, and anyone else using that name is a fraud. In other words, things could get ugly if the original Sin Cara tries to use that name for AAA. Things have really not gone well for him since leaving Mexico.

TNA's Robbie E and Brooke Tessmacher are on the 25th season of "The Amazing Race", which will be filming through some point in July. Considering TNA doesn't have any mention of this on their website, it could be something they did independent of the company. I wonder if there's any heat there? TNA's active roster isn't exactly huge right now.
