2015 predictions for WWE and TNA rosters

Read on for my stabs in the dark of what could be coming for talents in 2015.

Main Event Reax - 12/30/14, What happened after Raw, Raw guest, Angle TNA return official, Interview with Jimmy Uso, and Questions on pushing Ziggler, little people, Rosebuds, the Rumble, and Vince vs. the fans

Main Event:
I was mostly a fan of the opening segment. Edge and Christian can be pretty entertaining. As far as I know, Edge and Christian are just here for this week. It's possible they're still part of the angle going forward, but I suspect Sting will end up being a bigger part of it.

Cool to see Charlotte and Sasha Banks on Main Event. I'm not really sure why they're here, but it's good for them to work in front of a larger crowd. I think both could be on the main roster in 2015.

Pretty good match with the NXT Divas. I think they "passed" their main roster test, in my eyes.

So-so backstage segment. I wonder if there were earlier plans for Santino to run the show, but they changed their minds to put Edge and Christian and charge, so he got bumped to a smaller role. It's not a big deal, I guess.

I'm interested to see how Titus does in 2015. He'll be 38, but I don't think that will totally stop WWE from using him.

Pretty good match between Titus and Gabriel. They worked together pretty well. Again, very curious to see if Titus will do anything of note in the year ahead.

Weird backstage party segment. WWE comedy...

Cool tease for Smackdown. I wonder if that lawsuit sets up Sting trying to be GM.

Pretty good match to end the show (and year). On to 2015!

Query on Sheamus, Interview with Jarrett, Memphis name passes, Brock commercial, WWE name retires, TNA Lockdown update, another match set for TNA in NYC, Smackdown segment set, and Questions on Rollins beating Cena in an "I Quit" match, What if Bischoff never took over WCW?, Rollins vs. Ziggler, and Rusev vs. Ryback

First up, a query:
1. WWE could easily be saving Sheamus' return for the Royal Rumble. They like to do a number of surprise entrants then, and he's been gone long enough for that to count. As far as I know, he'll be good to go by then.

Jeff Jarrett talked about building up GFW. The NJPW show will be a big step for the promotion. It'd be cool to bring together rosters of international promotions, and maybe some indies in the States, too? I'd love to see everyone get together to put on a solid product as an alternative to WWE.

Memphis territory name Al Greene recently passed away. He was notable in the '60s and '70s. PWInsider has a write-up of his career

The clip of Brock Lesnar destroying HHH's office from some time back is the basis of a new Hardee's commercial. That was pretty well done. Can we get a Paul Heyman commercial now?

WWE live event notes and Questions on hating Cena, who should win the Rumble, wrestling in NXT, what trending means, and how to boost Network buys

Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart were part of a WWE live event in Cincinnati. Lana and Rusev interacted with them to set up Rusev defending the U.S. Title against Roman Reigns. That show also featured Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Tyler Breeze wrestling. Bad News Barrett did a promo again. Sin Cara replaced Darren Young in the opener against Justin Gabriel. Not sure why they didn't have Young work another match after his return the night before. I wouldn't read anything into it, though. It was probably just planned to be a one-time thing to see how he is.

On the other set of live events, Sami Zayn once more retained the NXT Championship against Adrian Neville. I'm surprised The Ascension aren't working live events, since they're set to come up soon. Neville is expected to be the next NXT call-up, though, so it makes sense to get him some more work before that happens.

Santino Marella was the guest ring announcer on one live event this weekend. It was a match involving Emma, so I wonder if we'll see those two together again. It's a shame we haven't seen Emma more. She's great.

WWE live event notes including teased returns and NXT names, assorted WWE press, Interview with Mason Ryan, Nash update, and Questions on replicating ECW, the Styles Clash, NXT names on the pre-show, New Jack, and facing Brock at WM31

Sami Zayn defended the NXT Championship against Adrian Neville in Madison Square Garden. That's pretty cool for them.

Randy Orton returned to the ring this weekend to beat Kane. I'm glad he's back. Talented guy. I wonder what he'll be doing at WM31?

Santino Marella announced at a WWE live event he hopes to be back in a few months. It's possible we haven't seen the last of him in the ring after all!

Interviews with Jarrett/D'Amore, latest on Nash, where the PPV after WM31 will be, and Questions on Rikishi running over Austin, Low Ki/LayCool, Hogan going for the title, Lawler leaving, and Total Divas

Jeff Jarrett talked about GFW, AJ Styles, and more ahead of the big NJPW show:
- I'm very curious to see how much of a success GFW will be, especially compared to TNA or ROH, etc..

- He's right about people (including myself at times) being way too focused on "who's No. 2 behind WWE". I also want there being a good number of healthy promotions, so the workers can get dates without being stuck working with one promoter.

- I also think some aspects of international promotions can be successful. The Bullet Club has made a name for itself among some fans, at least. It will be interesting to see how long that can stay true. I'm sure there are already jokes of "Bullet Club Wolfpack" and so on.

- I also think there's a stigma attached to "indie wrestlers" because there have been some poor examples of "spot monkeys" "no-selling" and all that jazz. There are some great talents out there, although I think even some of those would need refining to be successful outside a niche market.

- AJ's definitely not at fault for injuries, given how many times he's done that move successfully.

Query on WWE bringing back the ECW brand, and Questions on WWE and TNA in Cuba, Total Divas, Gail Kim, Abyss, and NXT in NYC

First up, a query:
1. There are no plans for WWE to bring back the ECW brand. They've got plenty of wrestling shows as it is! They easily could have made Main Event into an ECW show, or turn Superstars into that or something, but there's no interest. I think outside of a nostalgia pop here and there for an RVD, Tommy Dreamer, etc., I don't see WWE trying to revive the ECW name after shutting that brand down a few years ago.

I actually really liked the brand, even when it became "Tuesday Night Heat". It was like the Island of Misfit Toys in ways, where talents went when no one could utilize them well on Raw or Smackdown. The ECW writers made the most of the talents they did had, with good storylines for them and second chances for talents who needed one (Miz, Morrison, Mark Henry, Zack Ryder, and Matt Hardy to name a few). It was also a great place for new talents to get their starts, like Punk, Jack Swagger, and Sheamus. As much as I liked NXT: Redemption for making use of some talents like Tyson Kidd, Derrick Bateman, Johnny Curtis, and Maxine who weren't working on the main roster, the ECW brand probably did an even better job. They certainly had a bigger roster to work with.

Query on the original Sin Cara, Nash arrested and suspended by WWE, and Questions on Punk vs. WWE, talents staying in NXT, why Brock is facing Cena, Punk in MMA, and tag team feuds

First up, a query:
1. The original Sin Cara now works in Mexico as Myzteziz. The Mistico name was passed to a new wrestler, so he couldn't go back to it.

Kevin Nash was arrested after a domestic incident with his son. That's a really sad story. I hope everyone involved gets the help they need so this doesn't happen again.

Update: More details, including Nash's attorney commenting, were reported in a local newspaper. I wouldn't assume it's the end of his relationship with WWE. That will depend on how this matter is handled going forward.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Main Event Reax - 12/23/14, Wyatt rumorkiller, more for Del Rio, GFW-NJPW update, Reigns note, Interview with Nash, Smackdown audience, Raw audience, and Questions on music royalties, The New Day, WWE demotions, Raw is Jericho, and live edits

Main Event:
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd make one hell of a team. They've put in years of work to become great wrestlers. They weren't handed a big spot because of their size or look, so they had to bust their asses to be great performers. Their dedication to the craft really shows. I think Diego and Fernando are a nice duo, too.

Kidd/Cesaro/Natalya make a fun trio. I like watching them.

Good segment with The New Day, Goldust, and Stardust. It was kind of goofy, but I liked it. I don't know why "Big E sweating" is part of the equation, but it's mostly a positive act.

Nice enough match between Summer Rae and Brie. I hope Summer has a good future, and not just because she went to college in NC.

I liked Big E vs. Stardust well enough. They can only do so much more with this feud.

Swagger vs. Harper was really solid. I hope they both got kudos for their work here.

Everything else from Tuesday is after the break.

Pearce retirement speech, new TNA show, Neville update, NXT/Smackdown lineups, Interviews with Hawkins/Natalya, another GFW event set, Hogan at live event, and Questions on WWE booking, the App, and NJPW commentary

Here's footage of Adam Pearce's retirement from in-ring competition. It was kind of ambiguous what his future is, but I hope it's training people in NXT.

TNA will air specials about its greatest matches on Destination America. That's good, I guess. It does remind viewers Sting and RVD aren't there anymore, though.

WWE is working on a main roster gimmick for Adrian Neville. It's been said to call to mind Mighty Mouse, who was small but very strong. That's a pretty old reference. I hope whatever they have in mind accentuates Neville's positives. I think putting him in a mask or something and getting over on his moveset is probably the right move. Count me cautiously optimistic.

Raw Reax - 12/22/14

Monday, December 22, 2014

Rampage update, WWE name returns from injury, WWE/NXT live event notes, TNA name taking indie bookings, Batista plugs Titus, Interview with Rollins, new NXT trainer?, and Questions on pushing Owens, The Network, Rollins vs. Reigns at WM31, Zayn vs. Owens at Mania, and ads on the mat

Rampage Jackson has signed a new contract with UFC, stating he's terminated his deal with Bellator. However, Bellator claims he's still under contract. This potentially sets up a legal issue over his status. If he's still under contract to Bellator, presumably he's still part of TNA, too?

Update: Jackson and UFC are pretty adamant he'll be able to fight in 2015. I'd assume a TNA return, already rather unlikely, isn't happening.

Darren Young returned to the ring at a live event this weekend, beating Justin Gabriel before both were attacked by Seth Rollins. I'm going to guess they're just testing out what he can do after returning from injury. That's definitely not a prominent place on the card.

Update: Young tweeted about his return. I hope his gimmick doesn't just become "proud gay wrestler". That could pigeonhole him.

Interview with JR, Questions on Taker, Jason Sensation, why Zayn's still in NXT, Hideo Itami, and bringing back ECW

Here are some highlights from a recent JR interview about GFW:
-  As much as part of me would like to see JR call a weekly TV show again, I wouldn't assume that's going to happen. Currently there aren't any set TV tapings or anything, anyway. One step at a time, but things seem to be trickling out about GFW.

- I like JR's philosophy of calling the event. Bad English commentary could ruin the relationship with NJPW. I can only imagine how some commentator would have handled the show.

- I wonder how much better WWE commentary would be if it wasn't so micromanaged.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Interviews with Hogan/Punk/Naomi/Steele, JR to interview Dixie, WWE Network updates, top name missing live events, WWEPC visitor, and Questions on Miz owning his name, Bo, Paige, Ambrose's booking, competing with the Network, and a new WWECW

Hulk Hogan talked about wanting one last title run. If it is truly his last match ever and we never have to hear any "one more match, brother" garbage, I'd be OK with him ending his career at WM31 in a brief match. Maybe a legends battle royal or something with some of his former opponents. It does make sense for him to end his career in WWE.

Dixie Carter will be on Jim Ross's podcast January 6. That's the day before TNA debuts on Destination America. I hope it's something noteworthy and not just a puff piece to promote Impact.

Interviews with Rollins/Punk, Lawler cameo, Tribute to the Troops audience, TNA announcer change official, and Questions on releasing Cesaro, Punk in UFC, NXT vs. Raw/Smackdown, Zayn vs. Owens, and Vince vs. Double J

Seth Rollins talked about C.M. Punk leaving WWE and more. Rollins was in some ways a student of Punk before either made it to WWE.

C.M. Punk talked about what name he'll use in UFC and more. There's something funny about the name "Phil 'C.M. Punk' Brooks". I wonder what name he would have gotten from the WWE developmental name generator had he not gotten to use his pre-WWE name.

Update: Here's another Punk interview. I don't anticipate Vince calling or visiting him, so moving on from wrestling is the best choice.

Interviews with Y2J/Punk, legends on Raw next month, Network expands in Canada, honor for Ziggler, why no Foley on Christmas Raw, Smackdown audience, and Questions on Divas booking, fan-submitted stories, Luke Harper, and Bully Ray-WWE

Chris Jericho talked about his next WWE return and more. I'm a little surprised he's just doing a few live event appearances. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a surprise Rumble appearance, too, but apparently he won't be back full-time for Mania season. I doubt we've seen his last run, though.

WWE is advertising "Raw Reunion" for the Monday before Royal Rumble (Jan. 19). It will feature Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Shawn Michaels. Hopefully at least one of those guys takes an F5 or something.

C.M. Punk talked a bit more about WWE topics in an interview about going to UFC. I hope he does well there.

What happened after Raw, Catching up with Droz, ROH cameo on Raw, Orton update, long-form Smackdown commercial, Raw audience, next step for Mike Tenay, and Questions on old content on the Network, then vs. now, The New Day, and Bischoff in the WWE Hall

Here's a live report from Raw, including what happened after the show. The post-Raw dark segment was fine. Cena had just taken a big beating inside the cage, and Ambrose/Wyatt needed to recover after TLC.

Jim Ross caught up with Droz 15 years after his paralysis. Talk about someone who was dealt a really bad hand in life.

ROH wrestler Jimmy Jacobs was a Rosebud on Raw. He's not under contract for ROH, so he was able to do the appearance. I wonder how the ROH faithful feel about him taking that booking.

Query on Robbie E-NXT, TLC injuries, new TNA web show, another NXT act to main roster?, WWE bringing back old title?, Interviews with Arquette/Hogan, NXT lineup, Smackdown audience, JR's NJPW partner, Orton update, Lawler appearance, and Questions on why Takeover was so good, Brock as champ, Reigns' Slammy, and beating Rusev

First up, a query:
1. As far as I know, Robbie E's brother is still training in NXT. I hope he does well there.

Luke Harper got five staples on the side of his head after TLC. Dolph Ziggler needed a wound on his scalp glued shut. Big Show banged up his hip. I'm sure a lot of people are feeling the effects of the show. There were some crazy spots.

TNA is launching a new web series ahead of going to Destination America. It sounds a lot like Impact 365.

TNA coverage update

As TNA moves to a lower-tier network in 2015, I question whether there's enough interest left in covering it. I would hesitate to continue considering it a major promotion with the move. While I'd love to expand to covering ROH and other promotions of the size TNA is going to, realistically that's not an option.

Right now, I'm thinking of covering the promotion through Lockdown and then reassessing their situation. I could do the same after Slammiversary and Bound For Glory. What does anyone reading think?

Final Impacts on Spike pushed back, TLC guest, More NXT praise, Interviews with Zayn/Punk, and Questions on Finn Balor, Zayn vs. Owens, brass rings, NXT names as champion, and WWE continuity

The Dec. 17 Impact Wrestling is scheduled for 11 p.m., and the Dec. 24 episode is set to begin airing at midnight. That will give TNA practice with getting low viewership ahead of the move to
Destination America. They have very little momentum going into 2015.

Daniel Bryan was backstage at TLC. When the heck will we see this guy wrestle again!?

The recent NXT special was highly-received by those on the main roster as well. NXT continues to churn out solid stuff.

TNA Champion misses Puerto Rican date, new TNA programming, HHH gets gift from IWC, Naomi note, and Questions on Judas Devlin, Finn Balor, El Dandy, and Uhaa Nation

Bobby Roode missed a show in Puerto Rico due to missing his flight. He was set to face the World Champion of WWL in the main event. It's possible he makes up the date in January. That really sucks for everyone involved. As if TNA needed more negative press right now.

Dixie Carter announced a new TNA show for Destination America. This is probably just bonus content from Impact or something like Reaction (which was terrible). I'm not really excited either way. Unless they get a "Sunday Night Heat" kind of show like Xplosion on TV with actual matches, I'm not really interested in other content from them.

The wrestling board of Reddit sent Triple H a fruit basket after the recent NXT special. Needless to say, the show was quite well-received.

Takeover notes, NXT injury, Interviews with Riley/Rollins, Kendrick-WWE update, Network notes, another Hogan date, WWE Week set, Kamala update, Santino surgery, and Questions on Punk's publicity, TNA as competition, getting other talents work in NXT, and getting indies on TV

Triple H put over the effort of the talents at the NXT Takeover special. Clever guy. I think a number of talents are grabbing brass rings. Vince just won't let many of them actually take them.

Morale at NXT was pretty high after the Takeover special. It was a really good show. NXT is impressive.

Kevin Owens is believed to have received a broken nose in his NXT debut. Parker hit him so hard, it opened a gash on his palm and hand. That's pretty intense. Welcome to WWE, Owens!

Finn Balor is expected to continue to have paint in upcoming appearances, at least at major shows. He has a really good look. He's a star in the making.

Interviews with Punk/Austin, WWE visitors, upcoming WWE guests, former TNA name trying out in NXT, Del Rio to ROH, Takeover notes, and Questions on Punk-UFC, Stardust, Cesaro, and closing TLC

C.M. Punk touched on WWE topics in an interview about going to UFC. I suspect he's going to talk less and less about wrestling as he shifts phases in his career. Right now, that's what he's known for. I still wonder if he'll "pull a Brock Lesnar" and return in a few years to headline Mania. If that does happen, it will be years down the line. He's done with wrestling at this point.

Daniel Bryan was backstage at Raw. Remember when that guy wrestled? I'm ready for him to get back to kicking heads in and making people tap.

Adrian Neville will work the Dec. 26 WWE live event in Madison Square Garden. I wonder when we'll see him called up to the main roster. I honestly don't think he's ready from an "it factor"/promo perspective. He's a good high-flyer, though.

Update on NXT act to main roster, new Impact logo, Interviews with Punk/HHH, TNA-Destination America debut set, and Questions on "ATM Eric", Punk returning, positioning Ziggler, part-timers, and pushing Cesaro

A vignette for The Ascension is set for Smackdown. I hope they're a solid addition to the main roster. They've definitely gotten a lot of fine-tuning down in NXT.

Dixie Carter revealed the new Impact Wrestling logo. I'm not a huge fan, honestly. I can live with it, though. They definitely needed a new identity for the new home.

C.M. Punk talked about the transition from WWE to UFC and more:
 - Punk didn't screw Punk; Vince and HHH screwed Punk.

- I don't think Punk hates being famous. I think he just hates some of the side effects of it (like overeager fans who don't respect his space).

- It definitely looks like he's moving on from wrestling. I'd assume we've seen the last of him in the ring.

Main Event note, AWA announcer passes away, what happened after Raw, TNA promotes during Raw, HoFer's daughter a Rosebud, Charlotte notes, more Network content, final TLC lineup, Tribute photos, Slammys voting note, Interviews with Otunga/JR, Raw audience, HoFers booked for events, and Questions on unionizing wrestlers, hitting WWE where it hurts, the 30-day title rule, Rollins cashing in, and Luke Harper

This week's Main Event was a recap show ahead of TLC, since WWE taped a Tribute to the Troops special ahead of Smackdown. No matches were taped.

Famed AWA announcer Rodger Kent passed away at the age of 90 due to complications from pneumonia. He passed away on Nov. 28, but I'm guessing this was lost due to the other big story of the time. I hope he's set for the WWE Hall of Fame at some point.

Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt brawled with a kendo stick after Raw. Not an actual match, just a dark segment. I'm sure they'll pull out all the stops at the PPV.

NXT Takeover: R Evolution preview

Read on for how I'd book tomorrow's NXT special.

Query on the WWE Champion for 2015, NXT name works live event, British Boot Camp 2 winner, UFC name at WM31?, top indie name to WWE?, Interviews with Titus/Slick, new WWE PPV name, Royal Rumble poster, WWE return rumorkiller, WWE on Del Rey passing, Orton update, returning NXT guest trainer, new matches for TLC, Smackdown audience, next week's GM, and Questions on how Vince is seen by the locker room, Vince's control, TNA-GFW theory, pushing wrestlers to work hurt, and Punk suing WWE

First up, a query:
1. I haven't the slightest idea who will be WWE Champion at the end of 2015, but there's a decent chance it will be the person who will be dropping the title at WM32. I doubt WWE's booked that far in advance.

Charlotte worked a six-Diva tag at a live event Sunday night. I still think she'll do really well on the main roster. She's had some great matches so far.

At the end of British Boot Camp 2, Mark Andrews has won a spot on the TNA roster. He's a 22-year-old high-flyer. I'm hesitant to endorse him at that age.

TNA departure?, Punk to UFC (seriously), Ambrose update, Foley guest hosting, live event notes, and Questions on blading in TNA, Mercury talking to Punk, fixing TNA, and more

Although it has not been officially confirmed by TNA, it is believed Brittany is no longer part of the company. She made her return to SHINE under the name Santana Garrett, and her official website refers to her as a former Knockout.

C.M. Punk will now be competing in UFC. That's quite the surprising acquisition! I didn't think we'd see him compete at all post-WWE, but we'll see how he does. Hopefully this puts the "when is he coming back to wrestling" stuff to bed for a while.

Update: Dana White talked about meeting him. I'm not a huge fan of White, personally.

Interviews with JR/Bray/Cesaro/Cabana/Dixie/Manik/Ryback/Jey Uso, new logo for TNA, Lesnar-UFC note, more R Evolution hype, and Question on Dixie working with Russo again

Jim Ross talked about C.M. Punk walking out and more:
- I don't think Punk was attacking Ryback just based on his look.

- I'm glad JR would squash rumors when he could. It's terrible there's so much petty BS in the locker room.

- I'm sure JR was unappreciated in that role. So many people in tough positions are.

Bray Wyatt talked about his current feud, Sister Abigail, and more. I have a feeling we're in for another weird, spooky moment at TLC.

Zeb Colter posted about a surgery on his Twitter, likely to sell the angle of him being injured. Zeb's amazing. He definitely belongs in the Hall of Fame for all his work over the years.

Heath Slater responded to the lawsuit against him. I don't intend to cover this case all the way through, but thought it should be noted WWE and Slater have addressed it.

Interviews with Angle/Dixie, more on part-timers in WWE, assorted WWE press and notes, Cena pushes locker room, Raw audience, and Questions on pushing Reigns, shaking up Survivor Series, the end of WCW, and Punk leaving

Vince Russo talked to Kurt Angle on his amusingly named podcast, The Swerve. Here are highlights:
- We all know Hulk's all about what's best for the Hulkster, jack. Sting and Angle needed to step aside and let Hogan and Easy E run the ship (into an iceberg).

- Russo might be considered one of those critics Vince McMahon doesn't listen to.

Paul Heyman's client BROCK LESNAR is officially being advertised for WrestleMania 31 and the Raw after. Could that Raw be his last night in the company?

Chris Jericho has been added to WWE live events in Canada, on Jan. 31, Feb. 1, and Feb. 28. Whether he's coming back for a real run or just a few dates is up in the air at this point.

Main Event Reax - 12/2/14, WWE nickname official, Raw cameo, Jarrett on WWF departure, Brock updates, more on Sheik documentary, Interview with Aries, Reigns update, Smackdown audience, TLC matches, and Questions on WCW contracts, the WWE locker room banding together, bringing back The Authority, The Monday Night War, and pushing Rowan

Main Event:
I liked Swagger vs. Titus. Swagger's really getting in a groove lately, and Titus fills his role well.

I really liked the post-match promo. It's probably too soon to beat Rusev, but Swagger has really impressed me as someone with the potential to be U.S. Champion.

The tag match was good enough. I'm not crazy about The Bunny as a gimmick, but everyone here did good work.

Solid Usos promo. They're pretty good.

Nice match between Truth and Fandango. I think Fandango's got something worth developing. Truth remains a solid veteran act.

A "stairs match" should be pretty interesting. Honestly, they could probably use a stipulation to make Rowan vs. Show a good match.

Nice pre-match. Miz is a good heel, for sure.

I think the Mizdow stuff is starting to run a little thin, but overall I really liked this match. TLC's being set up to be a really good PPV.

Austin interviews McMahon, NXT lineup, more Punk fallout, and Questions on Punk's podcast, getting the Network from the App, indie names on the main roster, and Austin interviewing McMahon

WWE.com talked to Stone Cold ahead of his podcast with Vince McMahon. Good teaser. I like that he more or less no-sold Hogan's politicking.

Update: Austin talked to Rolling Stone as well. I definitely want to hear Taker's thoughts on the streak ending and other career highlights once he hangs up the boots. He's earned the right to be a family man and appear out-of-character.

As for people not taking the ball, I think that's less true now. Some people are really going all out when they have a chance (Ambrose, Wyatt, Rollins, and Ziggler come to mind). But I would like to see people let loose more and have more time to show their characters. I see this more as

Survivor Series DVD cover, TNA tapings update, and Questions on Punk's podcast, The Authority in real life, and NDAs

Here's the cover for the DVD for this year's Survivor Series. I like it. I wonder if it's set to entice people shopping who didn't know Sting was at the event.

All three UK dates for TNA in January will be TV tapings. I'm not hugely surprised, although I wonder what this means for potential future One Night Only events. I also wonder which British Boot Camp 2 people will end up joining the roster full-time, and whether we'll see the likes of Kurt Angle and the Hardys as they're not advertised. I think they could be saving the reveal of Angle for a later date to push ticket sales, but who knows with TNA. I don't know if Jeff Hardy can work the UK given his record, but Matt might be in the clear.
