Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling.
- Sydal vs. Edwards:
These guys came from the same wrestlebot factory.
Both men are definitely great athletes.
This is hard-fought so far.
A lot of showing off here.
They're going all out!
Moves and moves and moves!
Not bad! Big win for Sydal to beat a former Impact World Champion, but I'm not so sure he's a guy to push at a top level.
- Post-match:
Davey and Angelina are hellbent on making Eddie Edwards miserable. Damn.
Davey can be a brutal guy.
- Magnus/M. Morgan/Prichard:
Impact seems to have too many people being spotlighted at once. Everything's colliding.
I hope the GFW titles are merged with Impact's because there are way too many belts on this show.
- KM segment:
This is interesting....
I'm not sure if this is stupid or AMAZING. Maybe KM can take over the Scott Steiner role.
- Von Eerie vs. Sienna:
Haha Sienna is not in the mood for this shit.
This isn't bad in the early going.
Sienna makes a pretty good monster.
This is going well enough.
Not bad at all!
- Drake/Prichard/Alberto:
Oh man. Playing off that whole backstage situation from the previous tapings.
Alberto itching to get in a fight with someone? What a novel concept!
Man, they're just defending titles left and right on this show.
- Karen/Sienna:
I'm excited to see how Alicia is in the ring.
We'll see how much the GFW women's title will end up meaning.
- EC3 vs. Bolin:
Is Bolin going to be the resident Impact jobber? Fine with me.
Jesus, EC3's on a mission here!
Haha pretty fun decimation.
- EC3 promo:
Slammiversary could be a pretty big deal with this much build. It should mater a lot, being the 15th anniversary and all.
- More announcers stuff:
There's only so much more they can get out of all this. I assume it comes to a head at Slammiversary. I certainly hope so.
- Magnus vs. Morgan:
Ohhhhh man. Morgan's fun.
Great to see Mastadon Morgan back.
Man... how has this guy not been world champion somewhere?
Magnus is good, too. I'm glad Impact didn't go under so we can see them on TV.
I'm liking Magnus' strategy here.

It's awful to make fun of painkiller addiction, but damn if I didn't laugh at this. Swoggle did beat the hell out of him with that hammer.

Glad Laurel is finally doing something important-ish.
Oh, man. Kongo is about as HOSS as it gets.
This is fun in something of a sadistic way.

- Sonjay/Low Ki:
Man. Sonjay just can't catch a break, huh?
I'm curious to see where Low Ki goes from here. He has a tendency to not stay in one place too long.
- Drake vs. Alberto:
Poor Eli bit off more than he can chew!
Alberto sending a message! Did Eli look at Paige the wrong way backstage or something?
Ohhhhh man. With no Tyrus around, Eli's out of luck.
Drake's making the most of his opportunity here.
Alberto's definitely one heck of a wrestler.
I'm enjoying this.
Pretty good action they've got going on here.
I liked the armbreaker spot.
