New Day special coming, WWE action figure notes, WWE Puma shirts released, Interview with Becky, more JR commentary for WWE, what happened after Takeover, and Questions on the Radicalz in WCW, Ambrose disappointing, Josh vs. Borash, Randy vs. the indies, and the Trump association hurting WWE

New Day is getting a WWE Network special Tuesday. I'm interested to see how they'll do on Smackdown. I'm really hoping Big E gets at least a U.S. Title reign one of these days.

WWE and Mattel are asking which superstar should get their first action figure next. I'm surprised Darren doesn't have one yet. He's struggled to make it in the company. I hope Elias and Mojo are on their way up in WWE.

- Target will get exclusive NXT Mattel action figures. Damn, NXT names are getting action figures before a lot of Impact and ROH names.

WWE's Puma shirts have been released. That Ric Flair shirt is NICE.

Becky Lynch discussed her sense of humor. She's been a lot of pun in WWE.

Jim Ross will be doing commentary for the WWE women's tournament. I really hope they get Trish or Lita or someone to call it alongside him.

Johnny Gargano was taken out of Takeover on a stretcher. I think Johnny vs. Tommaso is going to be one hell of a feud.

For my thoughts on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Great wrestling in of itself is rarely a big draw. Sometimes the workers are there to contribute to the show in-between the stuff that moves stories along. A strong wrestling product has some stuff that's just straight up impressive wrestling as well as storylines. The "sports entertainers" might draw more with their promos and such, but there need to be strong workers there to make the whole thing come together.

2. At times he definitely looks ridiculous with his offense, and things really aren't coming together for him as they were when he was the unhinged guy in The Shield. He seems to be content to be an IC Title level guy who's there having fun instead of the hungry guy who wants to be in the Cena role. That's a lot of why he's where he is and why Roman and Seth are where they are. They're more motivated to be "WWE superstars" whereas Dean's just happy to be paid to do something he enjoys.

3. It's the mentality WWE had with Lawler vs. Cole: make one announcer so irritating you're BEGGING for someone to kill him. More people are talking about it than Lashley or EC3 or the X-Division, and they see that as a sign they're onto something.

4. And how much money did he draw as the guy doing dives in OVW? No one's getting noticed when so many indie matches are the same formula. It struck a lot of nerves because the criticisms really hit the nail on the head.

5. I doubt it's a big factor, if it's one at all. There's nothing to indicate there's a big backlash to WWE due to its associations with the president.

More wrestling tomorrow.
