Vader's declining health is the subject of an upcoming DVD. The man's a legend, and he'll leave behind a major legacy.

Alberto El Patron was set to cut a promo after the July 5 Impact taping, but GFW played his music loud enough to drown out whatever he was going to say. There was a worry he'd shoot on WWE after the reference to Paige during Smackdown's rap battle, but that didn't happen. It's not a good sign when you can't trust your world champion not to draw negative publicity to your company.

GFW is expected to debut its new championship belts on the live August 17 Destination X special. More tapings are set from August 17 through August 20. They could try to build to a big world title match that night, with the X-Division Champion "cashing in" for the opportunity.

KM signed autographs in Connecticut to promote next month's GFW live event there. I'm glad they're doing appearances to get the word out for the shows; it's going to be a long road to get things in the range of where they were even at the end of their run on Spike.

Velvet Sky has officially retired, returning to college and working as a trainer. Without WWE or
GFW offering her a big deal, she's smart to take advantage of another opportunity at something more stable.

GFW is looking into booking further live events in September, targeting the Midwestern United States and Anthem's base in Ontario. I hope that's a good plan for them and they're able to get people working regular dates.

Moose and DeAngelo Williams talked to TMZ Sports. DeAngelo did pretty well for himself; I wouldn't mind him having another match at some point.

Raw drew 2.84 million viewers Monday, a drop from the previous week. The post-GBOF show's audience is going to be one to keep an eye on.

WWE 2K16 is available on Playstation Now.

Cedric Alexander is replacing Austin Aries as Neville's opponent in Madison Square Garden. That would have been a big stage for A-Double, but hopefully Cedric makes the most of it. Aries has taken a bit of a backseat after losing his last title match, but that's meant other people get screen time.

American Alpha will attend the National Wrestling Hall of Fame weekend from July 20-22, along with Gerry Brisco and a slew of other luminaries and current names. I'm surprised WWE is openly pushing an unaffiliated hall of fame. Gerry doing talent scouting is one thing, but this is a bigger endeavor from them.

WWE faced a leak of more than three million users' information from an unsecured server, including home addresses, children's ages and genders, earnings, ethnicity, and a lot of social media account information.

- WWE basically put it off on the third-party putting it on the web. This is definitely a PR hit for the company, even if all the information was voluntarily shared with WWE and its partners.

- WWE has since secured the database and is working on their cybersecurity. A potentially scary moment for a lot of people, and it could end up making people wary of sharing sensitive info with the company. That's not good for potentially convincing people to do business online, as some were already worried about such issues.

The Mae Young Classic has officially added Australia's Rhea Ripley, formerly Demi Bennett, and Sage Beckett, recently Sage Miller and MaryKate, and formerly Andrea. Both are under developmental deals. WWE is really going to be showcasing a lot of their NXT recruits in the tournament, which isn't a bad idea at all. I kind of like the idea of turning 205 Live into a show that focuses on cruiserweights and the emerging class of women, but no idea what they'd call it. That'd also be a LOT of rope changes!

Jay Lethal was visiting backstage at Impact. He lives in Florida and has plenty of time left on his ROH deal, so this wasn't a sign of anything.

GFW is set to use more AAA and NOAH talents at their August tapings. It's not a bad idea to make use of those rosters, although they run the risk of crowding out the "Impact" roster by focusing on the international names instead.

- GFW is also looking to use AAA and NOAH talents on their August live events.

GFW talents will be working NOAH later this summer, and will also be part of AAA Triplemania in August. It's good for those names to get international work like that, performing with new wrestlers in new places so they become more well-rounded and are exposed to new potential fans. Anthem and Jeff Jarrett are really raising the profile of the former TNA.

Smackdown drew 2.33 million viewers on July 4. It was a loaded show, but the holiday meant the audience wasn't going to be what it would normally have been for such a big event.

Cody's separated shoulder won't need surgery. That's good news. He's on a really big run right now.

AAA Triplemania will remain on August 26, putting it up against a big Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor bout. AAA is trying to get the event to air on U.S. TV on a tape delay, but that could be a big stretch.

War Machine's status is still up in the air, with WWE and NJPW both being options in addition to staying in ROH. The June 24 ROH TV taping was treated as a potential farewell for them in case they do end up elsewhere. I wouldn't blame them for chasing bigger things if they've got the right offer on the table.

WWE is considering a women's Royal Rumble for the 2018 show. Unless they use a lot of NXT names and guests, it'd have to just be for 20 people or so. I'm open to the idea after they stock things up following the MYC.

WWE is considering a tag team tournament for summer 2018 in the vein of the CWC and MYC. They've REALLY stepped up their talent recruitment game with those endeavors. It's worth serious thought, as they could feature teams from all over the world.

The Bella Twins could get a lifestyle TV show called "Bella Appetit," as WWE has trademarked that term. They really want the Bellas to be big stars outside the wrestling bubble. I'm curious how NXT Era talents will fit in with that philosophy. I love talents like Asuka and Nikki Cross and I'm glad WWE has them, but can they get mainstream appeal? WWE wants to be a lot more than a wrestling company, because the appeal for that is limited.

Randy Orton's upcoming time off is confirmed to be for a WWE Studios role. I'm sure the Singhs are glad they won't be taking RKOs for a few nights.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It had been 25 years. The two sides probably buried the hatchet. As was said, she was able to get work for quite a while after that.

2. I'm surprised they haven't pitched any more kid-friendly cartoons in the vein of Hulk Hogan's old show. Cena would have been the obvious centerpiece years ago. New Day would be pretty fun now.

3. The wrestling business is unbelievably petty sometimes.

4. Yes, all those opponents in ROH and TNA. Heck, watch some of his NXT work with Balor and Nakamura, too.

5. I don't know who taught him his dance moves, though.

More wrestling tomorrow.
