205 Live, NXT, and ROH Reax - 12/12/18

Read on for my thoughts on last night's 205 Live, NXT, and ROH.
-- 205 Live:
- Murphy vs. Metalik:
As always, a fun story of power vs. speed.

I like Gran's innovative offense. He's not going to win by brawling or strength.

These two work together well.

Murphy has really been a success story.

That was really good.

- Itami/Ariya:
Still waiting on that cruiserweight tag team championship.

- Cedric vs. Nese:
Smooth work here.

Nese is definitely more than a posing gimmick.

Damn. Nese is getting to shine here.

This is badass!

WOW. They're putting on a clinic.

Pretty good work here.

- Post-match:
This show did a really good job selling TLC.

-- NXT:
- UE promo:
I think these four belong in the Royal Rumble. There's not much else for them to do.

- Fish vs. EC3:
I like this combination.

These two work together well.

Fine enough.

- Post-match:
A little surprised four men ducked from three.

- Dakota/Io:
Oooooh that should be fun. I look forward to seeing Duke and Shafir in action.

- Burch/Oney vs. Mighty:
This is pretty good.

WOW that Mighty double-team.

This is pretty badass.

Good work!

- Gargano promo:
I love the paranoid reasoning.

- Shayna/Jessamyn/Marina:
Ahhhhh I hope Baszler can succeed post-NXT. She's been great.

- Evans qualifies:
Yeah I wish that would have happened on TV.

- Mia vs. Reina:
That wasn't bad, just pretty short.

- Black promo:
Pretty good. Next week should be AWESOME.

- Ricochet vs. Breeze:
NIIIIIICCCCEEEEE. It's good to see some people who aren't doing anything be used in NXT. If The Revival aren't about to leave, they could do some TV matches, too.

This is pretty good so far.

Ricochet's athleticism is unreal.

This feels like a big match.

That was pretty good!!

-- ROH:
- Flip's challenge:
I like the idea of a warmup.

- Flip vs. Silas:
I like how these two work together.

This is pretty nice. Flip is growing as someone to utilize.

This is pretty cool.

What's even worse than The Elite leaving? Bully staying.

How do you even have a no contest in an "I Quit" match. If someone is too incapacitated to give up, that's a win for their opponent.

- Ladder War hype:
This feels like a major match and the end of an era.

Vintage Bucks.

Pretty hype.

- Cody/Lethal/Castle vs. Kingdom:
I like the rivals not getting along.

Haha fun suicide dive spot.

Pretty good so far.

Taven's growing. Final Battle was probably too soon for him to become champion, but Supercard won't be.

I'm liking this so far.

Pretty solid.
