Podcast notes, ECW Hidden Gem, Hawkins vs. NWA star, Xavier's Arcade preview, Coach vs. Eugene in 2019, NJPW sellouts, Aro Lucha-POP update, and Questions on Impact's new TV home, Sabu's Twitter costing him bookings, Cena returning to WWE TV, Elias pre-WWE, and Nailz post-WWF

Matt Riddle is on Edge and Christian's latest podcast.

Jim Cornette is on Jim Ross' latest podcast.

Sami Zayn is on Chris Jericho's latest podcast.

Becky Lynch is training in Ireland.

ECW gets a Christmas-related Hidden Gem Sunday with The Sandman vs. Steve Corino vs. Justin Credible from December 2000. This is from the final "ECW Arena" event from the original ECW.

Curt Hawkins faced NBA's Enes Kanter at Hawkins' training school. Funny stuff.

Xavier Woods previewed his new WWE Network show. That looks fun.

Jonathan Coachman and the former Eugene are setting up a charity match for 2019. That's a great idea!

NJPW's next U.S. shows sold out the day the tickets were put on sale. That's great news for the brand's expansion.

Aro Lucha's commercials on Impact Wrestling are part of a deal between Anthem and Aroluxe Media regarding Anthem buying out that company's percentage of Impact ownership. The commercials were not inserted by Pop, and there are no indications Aro Lucha will be coming to Pop in 2019. It's possible the commercials continue on Pursuit, since they're added on Impact's end rather than by the distributor.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It definitely comes across as Impact being really desperate to keep the show on TV in the U.S. I really wonder where the show would end up if it wasn't for Anthem owning part of Pursuit.

2. It certainly wouldn't bode well. They'd certainly try to continue on, doing live events, Twitch specials, etc. as well as taping for international markets (and potentially online), but it would be a further blow to their dwindling prestige. It's going to be difficult enough to find a fourth TV home in five years, with the audience dropping each time they move. Anthem clearly hasn't thrown in the towel yet, but they're really in a bind right now.

3. He wasn't getting booked by anyone major before he joined Twitter, and at 54, it wasn't likely that was going to happen even if he was less of a headache to deal with. But certainly he could be adding fuel to the fire with his tweets. Promoters on the fence about using him who see those tweets might think twice about putting money in his pocket. Of course he has the right to his opinions, but promoters and fans have the right to not reward someone who says those kinds of things.

4. I don't believe so, especially if he's not going to be at Royal Rumble. I'm under the impression he's going to jump into something else during WrestleMania season, so I think they'll keep him on live events.

5. I don't know who trained him musically.

6. It doesn't look like he's wrestled since 2001, and that was after a three-year hiatus. Whatever he does now, it's not taking bumps or signing pictures.

More wrestling tomorrow.
