WWE holds Latin American tryout, assorted WWE press, WWE sets major Indian tryout, ROH channel on new platform, Cody honored in Jacksonville, Jarrett responds to lawsuit, wrestling venue renamed, new WWE directors, Vince sells nearly $23 million in stock, former WWE World Champion competing in MMA, and Questions on turning Ronda, missing HoFers, Luger in the HoF, a physical HoF, and clearing Becky for a dangerous match

WWE held tryouts in Chile, profiling some key talents. Here are some bios:
- Ricky Marvin
- Alejandro Saez, also known as Xtra Large
- Ariki Toa
- Stephanie Vaquer
- Dragon Bane
- Zatara
- Alex Hero
- Keyra
-- As usual, WWE's recruiting from a mix of backgrounds and experience levels. I hope they get some good recruits. There's a long-term goal of an NXT/Performance Center in Latin America, so this could tie into that.

Matt Hardy is promoting WWE in India. He's getting pretty regular screen time for someone not wrestling.

WWE will hold Indian tryouts in March. I fully expect a Performance Center there at some point.

- WWE released further details. This will definitely be a major project.

Aleister Black is on Lilian Garcia's latest podcast.

Paul Heyman put over a college prospect. I'd be interested to see the pairing down the line.

Becky Lynch was profiled on NBC News. It's great to see her showcased.

John Cena was on "Ellen" ahead of Christmas.

The Stadium channel, which airs ROH TV, is now available on PlayStation Vue on select tiers. That's good for fans wanting to watch that product.

Cody and Brandi Rhodes were at NFL's Jacksonville game this weekend, sitting in the owner's box. This gives further speculation of a link between that team's ownership and the All Elite Wrestling project.

Ring Warriors postponed its third set of TV tapings. No makeup dates have been announced yet. It's believed the project is going through some changes. We'll see how things change from here.

Jeff Jarrett has filed a response to Anthem in the ongoing GFW lawsuit, adding the following:
- Fans are likely to confuse Jarrett's GFE with Anthem's GFW content due to Anthem's allegedly unfair/deceptive/fraudulent conduct.

- Allegations of unfair competition by Anthem due to fans confusing the two companies.

- Evidence Anthem does fall under Tennessee law due to conducting business/holding offices in Nashville in the past, as well as Anthem content airing in Tennessee.

- Allegations the original deal to air GFW content didn't give Anthem ownership of the master tapes.

New York's Mid-Hudson Civic Center will be renamed the Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center. The venue has featured a lot of wrestling moments over the decades.

Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart represented WWE at March of Dimes, with Hogan giving a speech. The Hulkster knows all about drawing dimes, brother.

WWE has elected two new directors to its board. Man Jit Singh is the former president of home entertainment at Sony's movie division, while Alan Wexler is the CEO of Publicis, a marketing company. One would think WWE is making moves on those two fronts with those appointments.

Vince McMahon sold 306,000 shares of WWE stock, at a price of almost $22.9 million. It's likely he's using this money for the XFL.

The former Jack Swagger will compete at Bellator 214 on January 26 in California.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. While she hasn't been ticked off every time we see her, she definitely hasn't been all smiles. I think she's already booked as more of an anti-hero than, say, Bayley or Sasha are currently. I don't see any reason to have her turn on the other faces to be her own woman anytime soon, especially going against the solidly heel Charlotte and Becky in the months to come.

2. Demolition is about the only other name to come to mind right now, since Owen Hart is such a long shot.

3. Not that I'm aware of. He's been back in WWE to talk about the Wellness Policy after Elizabeth's passing, so it's likely just a matter of him being saved for the right moment.

4. I don't see why they'd put up a building just to put one up. They'd want it to be a money maker. Right now AXXESS pretty much covers the demand for that content.

5. They're confident in her ability to be in such a match. WWE doesn't clear people "halfway" or only for certain kinds of matches.

More wrestling tomorrow.
