Bryan fans get their wish, Menounos talks Mania, Questions on RVD, Sable-WWE, "Cryme Tyme" heat, continuing momentum in WWE, and Bryan vs. Sheamus, Ryder promotes YouTube band, TNA signs new deal with Spike, Punk interview, latest on Hart/WWE lawsuit, video of Cena at the WM28 press conference, JR talks FCW and Mania, more Lesnar appearances announced, rapper talks about Cena, Punk update, WWE remembers Strongbow, more on Jericho, legends on house shows, Steiner the pipebomb, Angle update, who Roode's security was, and the updated line-up for Lockdown

WWE is in fact making a shirt playing off of the "YES!" chant for Daniel Bryan. If that sells well and he continues to get chants, I'd like to think they'd do more with him. On the other hand, if it doesn't sell well, they could write him off as someone who only appeals to a certain audience.

Maria Menounos talked about a certain rumor that arose from her WrestleMania match. I feel dumber for having reported on that.

PWInsider.com had some new questions on Thursday. Here's my take:
1. He re-signed with TNA, but I also remember a report not too long ago that he could be going back to WWE.

2. I guess it could happen, but I wouldn't count on it. I'm not sure how much interest there would be for one.

3. There were a lot of inside references on that show. I assumed it was that incident they were referring to. For those who are unaware, Cryme Tyme got in trouble for doing something off-script during a match with Cade and Murdoch on a live event. It was something to do with selling a referee's belt in relation to their "Cryme Tyme Shopping Network" gimmick if I'm not mistaken. I don't know any additional details, but that sounds kind of petty. I think they got over pretty well with their shenanigans, but WWE's capricious at times. And yes, Hawkins and Reks got heat for those videos.

After the break, I go into everything else from Thursday. Next up, can WWE continue the momentum they had in Miami?

4. There was definitely a very hot crowd in Miami those two nights. It could happen that they continue momentum, but they don't have Rock, HHH, Taker, and HBK around now. Not to mention that they don't have the big build-up now that they had for Mania. It took time and effort to get things to that point. Everyone you mentioned did a good job, and I also hope things continue in a positive fashion, but that's a pretty high bar these days.

5. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. From the looks of things, they were victims of timing issues again. Unless they give them a big gimmick match next year (if they face off then at all), I wouldn't automatically expect the third time to be the charm.

Zack Ryder introduced the band that does some of the music for his YouTube show at a performance.

TNA has signed a new multiple-year deal with Spike TV to continue showing Impact Wrestling.

Update: Here's a story on it, hinting that they could have new shows as a result of it. Maybe something like Xplosion could finally end up on TV here? They definitely shouldn't go with Reaction again, as that rightfully bombed.

C.M. Punk was interviewed ahead of the next edition of Raw. Good stuff as always. Punk vs. HBK would have really been something to see.

Here's the latest on Martha Hart's WWE lawsuit. Most of her claims were thrown out, as it sounds like they should have been.

In a video that was lost amid the flood of pre-Mania stories, John Cena talked about Brock Lesnar at the WM28 press conference. I wonder how much he knew about the negotiations to bring him back at the time.

Expect a number of new FCW call-ups in the coming weeks and months on Raw and Smackdown. If they do get a 5th (!) weekly show, this makes sense to increase the roster some. Things are getting kind of crowded as it is, though now we won't have some of the part-timers taking up TV time.

Jim Ross also blogged about calling Hell in a Cell and Mania in general.

Brock Lesnar is advertised for the 4/9 and 4/23 Raws, but not the 4/16 Raw. So far, he's not advertised for anything specific past Extreme Rules.

Bumpy Knuckles talked about working with John Cena.

In storyline, C.M. Punk suffered a contusion from being attacked by Chris Jericho on Raw.

Here's a video from WWE remembering "Chief" Jay Strongbow.

While Chris Jericho is not advertised for some dates in June due to Fozzy commitments, he is advertised for one on 6/18. So, maybe he is sticking around for a while.

Booker T. is advertised for Raw's tour of Brazil, and Mick Foley is advertised for Smackdown's tour of Mexico. If that builds attendance and helps get some current guys over, it's fine by me.

Scott Steiner continues to shoot on TNA and its booking committee on his Twitter account. It's not PG but it's quite entertaining and enlightening. TNA continues to be a rough ship internally.

Kurt Angle's still intending to try out for the Olympics despite his injury, but if his injury gets worse he'll focus primarily on TNA.

The security used by Bobby Roode on Impact was made up of students from the Team 3D Academy.

Finally, here's the line-up for Lockdown following Impact:
Bobby Roode vs. James Storm for the TNA World Championship
Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle
Lethal Lockdown: a team led by Garett Bischoff vs. a team led by Gunner. Either Garett or Eric Bischoff will be gone from TNA depending on the outcome.
Matt Morgan vs. Crimson
Samoa Joe and Magnus vs. the Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Team Championship
Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky for the Knockouts Championship
Devon vs. Robbie E for the TV Championship

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come after Smackdown. Thanks for reading!
