Traci leaves TNA, more shots by Steiner, MLB player wanted to be WWE star, Questions on WWE beating TNA in Florida, Brock apologizing, alternate plan for Brock vs. Cena, Jericho looking weak, and Bryan going back to ROH, update on Kazarian, more Gut Checks, WWE mocks Lilian again, Dillon interview, TNA on the air in Poland, and a Bourne injury update

Traci Brooks' TNA contract expired. She wasn't really doing anything in the company, so that makes sense.

Scott Steiner claims that TNA Lockdown only got 2500-3000 attending, with a good part of that crowd being from free tickets. He also took more shots at Hogan and Bischoff. There are definitely some changes that need to take place in the company to bump numbers higher.

Eric Thames of the Toronto Blue Jays mentioned wanting to be a WWE star when he was younger. That's not as common of a goal as it was when he was that age.

Here's my take on the 4/18 PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think they should, though perhaps they shouldn't be surprised given how much higher WWE's business is and that that taping was the night after WrestleMania. Everyone was talking about Rock and Lesnar being in town, and TNA doesn't have anyone who has that much appeal in 2012.

2. That is a pretty good point, but I don't see it happening. Lesnar would have to really go out of his way to win over the younger guys given the big difference between his contract and theirs. The best apology he could do might very well be giving WWE higher PPV buyrates, which would give those performers more money.

After the break, I go into everything else from 4/18. Next up, a question on Brock attacking Rock instead of Cena.
3. I personally like the war of "Attitude" and PG with Brock vs. Cena instead of the traditional face vs. heel. Brock's going to have supporters (and Cena's going to have haters) almost regardless of what they do with them, so they might as well use both of their strengths like they seem to be so far (as of the 4/17 Raw at least).

4. What they said. Weak would be if he lost within 2-3 minutes at Mania or something.

5. Slim to none. He's still in the midst of the biggest push of his life and fans are responding to him more than they ever have, with his chant taking on a life of its own. He'd be foolish to throw that all away to work much smaller and less profitable crowds. What would he have to prove?

Kazarian's decision to cut his hair was something he did independent of management. No word on if he's gotten any heat for it.

TNA is holding Gut Check challenges in Washington and California. I hope they find some new stars there.

Following another tumble on her way to the ring, WWE released a video mocking Lilian Garcia. I'm starting to think this is some kind of running gag someone came up with.

Here's an interview with JJ Dillon on the Hall of Fame and more.

Impact Wrestling will now air in Poland. That's good news for TNA.

The latest estimate, as of 4/18, for a return date for Evan Bourne is the end of summer at the earliest. How he returns after an injury and two suspensions in relatively quick succession will be pivotal for how his career goes from here.

That's all for the news for 4/18. More to come during the week as I'm able. Thanks for reading!
