Even more Mania hype/interviews/visitors, Otunga charity, Impact preview, Questions on Orton/Kane, HoF inductees, and Natalya, Theme for 4/10 Smackdown, WWE re-hires Finlay, Barrett update, new WWE show?, and some HoF notes

WWE continues to post a LOT of WrestleMania content on their YouTube page.

Batista is at least hanging out with WWE's Titus O'Neil (an old friend of his) in Miami, so take of that what you will.

David Otunga just earned some major "bro points" for this: He got a WrestleMania ticket and meet-and-greet access for a boy who moved to the U.S. following the Haiti earthquake a few years ago.

Edge talked in Toronto. Good read.

Some other names who are part of AXXESS (outside of the regular WWE roster): Roddy Piper, Rocky Johnson, Jimmy Hart, Jim Ross, Gerry Brisco, Paul Bearer, and Lita.

John Morrison talked about WrestleMania.

As did Shutdown Fullback.

After the break, I go into everything else from 3/30 including my take on PWInsider.com's questions. Next up, what's set for Thursday's Impact?
In a line-up that sounds very "1.04 (or preferably lower)" worthy:
Hulk Hogan will have a State of the Union address in relation to TNA
The Motor City Machine Guns return
Eric Young will have a bachelor party
Montogomery Gent will be in attendance with James Storm.

It's like they're TRYING to drive me away. I'm fine with the country stars appearing, though.

For my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
1. Hopefully we get Orton/Del Rio down the line, then, as that sounds like an intriguing match-up.

2. While I'd love to see it happen, the fact that they didn't induct them the year after his passing is disappointing to say the least. It's a Vince McMahon call, and for whatever reason he's still got something against Savage all these years later. There are plenty of theories as to why, but nothing definitive.

3. I also think it will be a while before they put in some referees. Then again, they've been pretty surprising with some of their inductees (and non-inductees) over the years.

4. It looks like things are turning around for her to some degree. It seems like they're done with the gas-passing thing at least.

Nothing to add to 5.

The 4/10 edition of Smackdown, which will be live, will have an Old School theme. Hopefully with the old "oval" set. Advertised legends include "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Pat Patterson, Jimmy Hart, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Tony Atlas, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, and Hillbilly Jim. Could be fun.

WWE has brought Finlay back as an agent. He'll finish his previously-scheduled indie commitments. Glad that they're giving him another chance after the "national anthem" incident.

Terry Taylor and Mae Young are also in Miami. The latter made a cameo at AXXESS, while the former could be working on WWE's upcoming developmental expansion.

Shawn Michaels talked at AXXESS.

The Miz talked to ESPN in-character. Some funny stuff.

Wade Barrett was interviewed on Between The Ropes and the Fight Network. He expects to miss about four months after the battle royal incident. As if I needed another reason to root against Big Show winning the IC Title.

Theodore Long was interviewed.

WWE is planning to produce another series to air off of the WWE Network. That piece also has updates on Network content. The only way that makes sense is is if they're putting NXT and Superstars on the Network. Though even then it's a hard sell. With ratings as soft as they are now, they want to further dilute things by throwing another hour on TV? They lost ECW, NXT, and Superstars from TV for a reason. How will this time be any different?

Heath Slater, David Otunga, and Alex Riley talked to the Fight Network.

Update: So was Gene Okerlund.

The Rock talked about the one-year build to his match with Cena.

Rikishi accepted the Hall of Fame induction on behalf of the late Yokozuna. The Usos then gave a speech.

The 4/2 Raw will feature a 10-man tag playing off of WrestleMania matches. Makes sense.

DDP, Tommy Dreamer, and Rhino attended the WWE Hall of Fame.

Update: As did Maryse, Sean Waltman, and Kevin Nash.

Ric Flair responded to "Please come back" chants at the HoF with "I'd like to! Don't question me about that!". He said that he watches WWE every week. TNA wasn't mentioned. Take of that what you will! He's still under contract to TNA despite the appearance.

Lance Storm also got air-time during Edge's induction. He thanked the Dudleys, Owen Hart, Kurt Angle, and Mick Foley among others.

That's all for Saturday's news. More to come later in the day, including a preview for WrestleMania. Thanks for reading!
