Bryan interview with GQ, Questions on Morgan, Ryan, the Attitude Adjustment, WWE going after Bully Ray, and RVD, Ortiz to WWE?, WWE angle at Revolver Awards, Tyson interview, Angle pulls out of Olympics after tearing MCL, Sheamus talks in Ireland, Devon charity appearance, and WWE wants Bret on the Walk of Fame

Daniel Bryan was interviewed by GQ.com. Good read from someone who I hope is around for years to come. The more we get of guys like Punk and Bryan (and less like, say, Big Show and Khali), the happier I'll be as a fan. With all the praise they're getting, I'm chomping at the bit to see Rollins, Ambrose, Cesaro, and Ohno on the main roster.

Here's my take on Thursday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. He's indeed locked in to a contract with TNA. I share the enthusiasm and hope that if things ever do go south there, WWE wants him back.

2. He's still got a ways to go to be someone the company can count on to be a big star, inside the ring and on the mic. He's definitely got a good look and can be a convincing powerhouse with the right opponents, but I don't think he's ready for much of a push.

3. I didn't interpret this question as someone thinking the move hadn't been done before Cena, though that's technically possible. I hope they do bring up their past and Cena using that move because of the old feud with Lesnar. There's some good history to play off of between them in addition to the current issues they have.

After the break, I go into everything else from Thursday. Next up, why doesn't WWE go after Bully Ray for playing off of the Bubba Ray Dudley name?
4. I can see the argument that using the name "Brother Ray" is trying to emulate his name from ECW/WWE, but Bully Ray's different enough to not cause confusion with the copyrights.

5. TNA had him off of TV for a while ahead of signing a new contract not too far back. That was a smart move in my eyes to avoid a situation where he was being used on TV regularly but didn't come to terms. It helped get Gunner over to "injure" him as well.

MMA star Tito Ortiz is considering working for WWE depending on the outcome of his next fight. Lesnar vs. Ortiz in a WWE ring would be interesting. As always, it's about whether it benefits the company long-term and how much money it would take to get him on-board. I liked what he did with TNA years back.

Chris Jericho hosted the Revolver Awards in Los Angeles. The winner for "Most Metal Athlete" was C.M. Punk. You might can guess where this is going. Jericho smashed his award as part of an angle shot by WWE. I like that a lot.

Mike Tyson talked about WWE a bit in an interview. That was poorly researched if they didn't know that WWE put him in the Hall of Fame because of the legendary appearances he had with DX and Stone Cold.

Kurt Angle had to pull out of the Olympic trials following sustaining a partially torn MCL. Rehab will take 4-6 months, but he still plans to compete at Lockdown. I hope he finally takes it easy for a while.

Update: The AP picked up the story. I have a feeling he's always going to be playing the "woulda, shoulda, coulda" game on that.

Sheamus was interviewed in Ireland. Good read!

Devon will be at the Mystic Force Foundation's Walk for a Cure on 4/22 in Miami.

WWE is promoting the movement to get Bret Hart nominated for Canada's Walk of Fame. Those interested in adding their support to the effort can do so here.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
