JR talks Y2J, WWE meets Wizard World, D'Lo talks TNA departure, note on TNA budget cuts, Interviews wih Joe/Henry/Ryback+Miz/Bellas, "Legends of Wrestling" in Miami, Tamina before WWE, the X-Division Title, TNA statement on Prichard, hell freezes over, and Questions on Brodus Clay, TNA PPVs, Del Rey, and Jacqueline

JR talked about Chris Jericho going back on hiatus. I also suspect that we'll see him again in the future, though it's always a case of him wanting to come back and having the right opponents and such.

Here's a press release for upcoming appearances for WWE stars at Wizard World events. What's the over/under on Superman/Cena references?

D'Lo Brown talked about leaving TNA.

The primary reason for TNA's budget concerns is said to be going on the road: they're spending a lot of money to do it, but not getting enough revenue in return. Going live and going on the road seemingly hasn't resulted in much, if any, gains for the company. I definitely understand wanting to go on the road, as a LOT of people have wanted/suggested that in the past few years. It just hasn't worked out.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Samoa Joe promoted the TNA tapings, which is cool. At least they're getting people out there to talk about the shows.

Mark Henry talked for over an hour, because THAT'S WHAT HE DO. Smart guy. Henry vs. Cena was definitely really good from a story perspective. It was pretty cool to hear about his contract changes. I wish some stars had the fire that he does. Good story about becoming the "Hall of Pain" character and the locker room. I also really like that he put over some current stars. Henry vs. Bryan would have been so awesome. The STF doesn't look painful? Absurd. As for Cesaro, I do think he's just getting started. His work in NXT has been really impressive. Henry vs. Ziggler would also be really good. I don't think there's any denying Ziggler's workrate. Hilarious Vince story, too. Cool stuff about his early career, getting signed, etc.. Who would rib someone as big as Henry!? Hilarious stuff about the Hart Dungeon. Some ribs are REALLY mean, but funny some times. I like the camaraderie he talked about with Owen Hart, and it's very valuable to have someone will be honest with you. Cool stuff about the Sexual Chocolate gimmick, working with The Rock, etc.. Kane was in WWE for a few years before Henry says he was there. Maybe not as Kane, but he was there. As for going to OVW, there are a LOT of people who don't know nearly as much about wrestling as they think they do (fans and wrestlers alike). I certainly don't know everything. Cage matches can be pretty awesome. That moment with the chain on the chair is going to live with Henry forever. As for the stuff about Henry not working hurt, I never reported that and I haven't seen any credible source report it. As for needing time off, that's some pretty scary stuff. They push some guys REALLY hard. He's earned retirement, but if he can keep going, good for him (and for us). Cool that he put over Andre. He makes some really good points about him. He was the first WWE Hall of Famer.

The biggest news there is that Henry signed a new 3-year deal. It sounds like he'll be hanging it up for real once that wraps up. Will he end up working an Undertaker-like schedule for some of that time? Will he become WWE Champion? Time will tell.

Ryback and The Miz talked about being injured. I'm glad that Ryback did come back, and WWE is as well. Miz has earned his stripes, and Ryback's eating is crazy.

The Miami Marlins will have a "Legends of Wrestling" night. That's pretty cool.

The Bella Twins talked about WWE and more. I think this is why WWE likes them so much.

The Rock put over Tamina's pre-WWE experience. Talk about a big turn-around.

Here's a photo of the new X-Division Championship. It fits with their new blue "Impact Wrestling" motif. It looks a little like the old Intercontinental Championship, but what Title doesn't look like another Title? All in all, I like it.

TNA put out on a statement on Bruce Prichard being released. Not much to say about that. I hope the "new" Creative Team does good things.

Vince McMahon welcomed Warrior back to WWE. That's crazy given the things he said on the Warrior DVD.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They reported that some were saying that that was the case at the time. Clay says that he wanted to do the dancing gimmick and that's why they changed him up.

Nothing to add to 2.

3. I don't know that it saved them any money. They still filmed some PPVs for overseas. At any rate, their budget issues are due to going on the road. It has nothing to do with the PPVs.

4. Yeah, no other word on her going into a wrestling role, though she's getting very good reviews for her training.

5. Other than her work in the TNA "One Night Only" shows, I can't find any matches for her since her last TNA run.

More wrestling tomorrow.
