Query on WWE vs. TNA, fan jumps railing, Interviews with Bully Ray/Mickie/AJ/Axel, another Punk live event, and Questions on the Attitude Era, TNA's schedule, and TTTT on DVD

First up, a query:
1. I'd still list it as "highly unlikely" that we'll get any kind of WWE vs. TNA event. Unless WWE is incredibly desperate for business (they're making hundreds of millions a year), both companies end up on the same networks (not likely), or one side buys the other (also not likely), it's going to stay a pipe dream.

A fan attacked a wrestler at an indie event. Yeah, don't do that...

Bully Ray was interviewed ahead of a live event. He does make a pretty great heel.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Mickie James talked about country music and wrestling. I think she's right about live vs. taped.

AJ Lee talked about being Divas' Champion and more. She's amazing as a person, character, and wrestler. Good interview, if for no other reason than the video game references.

Curtis Axel makes 4 straight champion interviews in a row. Solid performer with some great teachers. I hope he goes far.

C.M. Punk had been added to a 7/26 live event in the States while some wrestlers tour in Australia. Makes sense.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I popped for the YouTube reference. There are a number of factors here: when the Attitude Era was hot, WWE just had to make 4 2-hour Raws, 4 hour-long Heat episodes, and a PPV every month. Once Smackdown hit, things got watered down but still weren't where they are now. Now? They've got 3 hours of Raw, 2 hours of Smackdown, an hour of Main Event, Superstars, PPVs, and sometimes SMS. Anyone who becomes successful is all over TV and not nearly as special as Austin and Rock were. I think that's going to affect things a big deal. Plus, there is a LOT more out there for that age group to spend time doing than watch wrestling. Video games, other shows, movies, the Internet, and the like. Yes, these things existed during the Attitude Era, but not to the degree that they do now. Even if they did go back to the AE philosophy, they'd have to redo a lot of characters and Creative philosophies that are now set for the PG crowd. So, don't expect it to happen.

2. Possibly, though a number of performers who have that concern are older and don't have to work as many dates (and might not in WWE, either). And it's not like WWE's going to come calling all of those people.

Nothing to add to 3, other than that ECW also brought in luchadores.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. I wouldn't be shocked at all. They need to sell DVDs, after all.

More wrestling tomorrow.
