Bryan teases return to the ring, WWE hitting Southeast Asia, Dana competes again, Impact tapings announced, WWE artist at AXXESS, Lawler's role at Mania, Smackdown audience, WM2 guest passes, WM33 press, Stephanie on women's day, Edge on Phoenix induction, WWE at SXSW, book on the first Jarrett released, tag team match booked for ROH TV, and Questions on Vince's decisions, pushing Brock after his failure, long-term planning, and Goldberg's wrestling ability

Daniel Bryan hinted at returning to the ring "in about a year and a half" when his contract expires during Talking Smack. Hey, I wouldn't rule it out! I'm sure he still has the itch, and WWE won't be able to tell him no if he's not under contract anymore.

WWE is set to return to Singapore later this year. WWE is continuing to put together plans for an Asian Championship in the vein of the recent UK title, so I expect tryouts before that event.

Dana Brooke competed in the 2017 Arnold Classic. It's a shame they hardly use her. Put her on Main Event every once in a while at least. Sheesh.

Impact Wrestling has officially announced tapings for April 20-23. These shows will complete the build to Slammiversary. I expect even more new names on those broadcasts.

Rob Schamberger will once again be at Wrestlemania AXXESS. I'm glad he's got a gig with WWE. His artwork is incredible.

Jerry Lawler will work the Kickoff show for Wrestlemania and will do commentary for one match on the main show itself. I'm curious which match that will be. It's surprising to see him taking a lesser role in the company. The remaining Attitude Era names on-camera are dwindling.

Smackdown drew 2.74 million viewers this week, a pretty decent jump from last week. Maybe the bump for the post-Fast Lane Raw helped them, too?

WM2 celebrity Lou Duva passed away at the age of 95. The legendary boxing coach appeared as Roddy Piper's trainer for the boxing bout against Mr. T. Those were the days. He'd be a good legacy addition to the HoF.

WWE has put a giant WWE Championship belt in an Orlando lake to promote WM33. They're going all out, as they always do. It's a big pop culture event that transcends the people who follow dirtsheets.

Stephanie McMahon discussed women who inspire her and more. She's one of the most powerful women in the country.

Edge put over his wife Beth Phoenix as she goes into the Hall of Fame. I think she's great, but am surprised she's being inducted before someone like Molly Holly or Victoria.

John Cena, Stephanie McMahon, Renee Young, and WWE executive Michelle Wilson will speak at SXSW this weekend. Pretty cool that WWE is acknowledged as a leader like that.

Christine Jarrett, Memphis wrestling promoter, mother of Jerry Jarrett, and grandmother of Jeff Jarrett, is the subject of a recently-released book. That sounds like a great history lesson!

The Hardys vs. The Briscoes has been booked for Saturday's ROH TV taping. Should the Hardys retain their championship at the 15th anniversary PPV, this match would likely be for that title.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Vince is probably thinking of having Taker pass the torch to Roman in a big Wrestlemania moment. That's pretty sound thinking to build for the future. While Vince isn't perfect, he's still got his wits about him.

2. Vince tries to reach out to those fans with NXT, 205 Live, the UK tournament, etc., but they're going to keep streaming the product illegally and complaining, so it's probably a wasted effort. Even when he does push Owens, Rollins, and AJ, it's "not good enough." So, he focuses on children and families for most of his money, and it pays off in the form of sponsorships and other deals.

3. It sends the message that sometimes cheaters and bad people get to high places despite doing bad things. They should probably learn that lesson early!

4. Oh, come on. There will be new part-timers and attractions then. It's like saying WWF couldn't rebound after Hogan left for WCW, Andre passed away, etc. I don't see them going away.

5. Goldberg only needs two moves to be a champ. There's a lesson there for the people trying to keep topping each other with the latest aerial displays.

More wrestling tomorrow.
