Former Impact name gets surgery, Southpaw project updates, Sasha promotes WWE, WWE album potentially canceled, Mania matches on YouTube, HoF inductors set, Flair podcast canceled, Raw+Smackdown audiences, and Questions on Randy playing Bray, the new Suicide, Braun dominating the Andre battle royal, Spike vs. Russo, and why WWE hasn't dropped Paige

Former Impact name Jesse Neal had surgery on a broken ankle. I hope he bounces back soon. He'd be worth another look; he's been away from TV long enough to be fresh.

WWE's Southpaw Regional Wrestling project was pitched back in September. It looks AMAZING in a campy way. Luke Gallows will perform as Tex Ferguson, a slight name change from a popular pre-WWE character that's perfect for this project.

- SRW debuted on WWE.com and WWE's YouTube page, so it's not just for the Network.

Sasha Banks promoted a Raw live event during a radio appearance Friday morning.

WWE's digital album Uncaged II has been pulled from Amaazon.com. It was originally set to be released on March 17.

WWE has uploaded complete Wrestlemania matches on YouTube this week in promotion of WM33. Social media views are important for them.

John Cena will induct Kurt Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame. That's fitting! Ricky Steamboat will induct Rick Rude that night as well. No word on who will be inducting the other members of this year's class beyond the Warrior award.

Ric Flair's planned podcast has been called off. Wow! That's a record even by Flair's standards. He'll have more benched podcasts than world titles if he keeps going like this.

Raw drew 3.23 million viewers Monday, in line with last week. WWE will have a tough run ahead of it without Goldberg, Brock, or Taker on the show.

Smackdown drew 2.63 million viewers Tuesday, down from the previous week. Hopefully both brands get a boost after Mania.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Randy was confident in his chance to get back into the title picture once he "changed his mind." If he didn't forfeit the Mania match, Bray would be suspicious. He suckered Bray good. It's a shame the people who complain about predictable, simple storylines aren't on-board with this.

2. Impact Wrestling, you mean? Konley is wrestling under the mask and as himself. I've lost track of how many people have been Suicide at this point.

3. Um YES. I definitely want to see Braun go on a tear. I would be all over that. There were only so many places they could put him at Mania with Roman tied up with Taker and the two singles titles on Raw already accounted for. I would have been good with another round of Braun/Roman on the show, with AJ facing Taker, but they have big plans for Roman that necessitate where he is now.

4. There were reports of Spike not liking Russo's creative decisions, specifically angles involving male-on-female violence. BUT they would have likely dropped Impact regardless as Spike changed its focus as a channel.

5. WWE is pretty invested in Paige, as was said. Plus, if WWE fired her, she could go make money for Impact and/or other promotions.

More wrestling tomorrow.
