WWE team drops last names, Performance Center plans, Miz show update, SDL black eye, WotW tour announced, more Hidden Gems, Interviews with Paige/Mickie, WWE-FOX updates, Harper status, WWEPC guest coaches, assorted wrestling press, WWE team's deals coming due, SDL audience, Miz hosting Nick show, WWE artist at AXXESS, Impact working with OVW again, and Questions on WWE's female hiring process, Charlotte being upset at Becky's push, Renee leaving, WWE announcing Dean's exit, and why WWE's hiring more producers

Heavy Machinery will now be known as just "Otis" and "Tucker" respectively, as WWE has dropped their last names. I can see how Dozovic doesn't exactly run off the tongue, although the Dozer nickname is good.

- Big E (formerly Big E Langston) commented on the change. It's really been a trend the past few years.

Triple H discussed future performance centers. It will be VERY interesting to see how a Middle Eastern Performance Center goes over. I would think China would be a good project down the line, too.

"Miz & Mrs" is scheduled to return following WrestleMania 35. I'm curious what Miz will be doing at that event. Also, his partner Shane in a McMahon reality show would be a lot of fun.

Mustafa Ali got a bad black eye on Smackdown Live. Ouch.

ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds will run:
- May 8 in New York
- May 9 in Ontario
- May 11 in Michigan
- May 12 in Illinois

WWE Network has added more Hidden Gems:
- Ernie Ladd vs. Magnum T.A. from Mid-South Wrestling in 1984
- Ron Simmons vs. Bad News Allen from Championship Wrestling From Florida in 1986
- Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin vs. Mark Henry and Mr. Black from OVW in 2000
-- There's a Black History Month theme to the series.

Paige discussed "Fighting With My Family" with The Hollywood Reporter.

WWE programming was discussed by FOX's entertainment CEO at the Television Critics Association:
- Smackdown Live was mentioned as being on Fridays for the "short term," so it could be moved to other nights.

- Other WWE programming will appear on FS1, but which programming this will be was unspecified. I would think this would mean things like pre- and post-shows, but we'll see.

Harper will resume rehabilitating at the WWE Performance Center shortly. Obviously there's potential for him to work with Rowan and/or Bray again when he's cleared.

WCW/WWE star David Taylor will work at the (U.S.) WWE Performance Center as a guest coach next week.

- NJPW/All Japan worker Kendo Kashin was a guest coach this week.

MLB's New York Mets will have WWE Day promotion on April 6.

C.M. Punk's horror movie "The Girl on the Third Floor" will screen at SXSW in March. AJ Lee is also part of the cast.

The Usos' WWE contracts expire in April. The two sides are in negotiations for another deal. I'd like to think they've still got long, fruitful careers ahead.

Smackdown Live drew 1.84 million viewers Tuesday night. That's the lowest non-holiday number I can find on record for the series.

The Miz will guest host Nickelodeon's "Crashletes" tomorrow night. He makes a lot of non-WWE appearance.

Becky Lynch slapping Triple H was a trending video on YouTube. It got a lot of people talking.

Mickie James discussed feuding with Becky Lynch and more.

Rob Schamberger will be part of WrestleMania AXXESS again. He's amazingly talented.

Impact Wrestling will work with OVW for a March 2 show. I assume that will be a Twitch special. It will be interesting to see if they rekindle their relationship from years back where OVW was a feeder system to Impact.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE is still going to recruit a small number of fitness models and reality show stars, but those names aren't going to be as much of a focus as they were pre-Triple H.

2. Honestly Charlotte's already done a lot in the spotlight. I doubt she's upset Becky's getting a push.

3. There's nothing to indicate she'll leave just because Dean is. If she's happy with what she's doing, I don't think she will go unless someone else offers her a better opportunity.

4. I saw it as putting out an official statement so people get it from them instead of another site. I absolutely would use him through WrestleMania to help build talents who are going to be part of the company after April.

5. It's also believed some names will be shifted to work at the UK Performance Center. And, of course, having certain names locked in means other companies won't sign them!

More wrestling tomorrow.
