Main Event Reax - 3/1/19, more Ronda vs. Becky, Booker's radio show done, New Day heads to India, FWMF director defends wrestling, MLW TV update, NJPW U.S. event airing live, Dana Warrior's new WWE role, WWE doing women's panel, Dillinger plans post-WWE life, Y2J podcast note, Interview with Gargano, Rayne jumps to Impact, WCW name has book coming, SDL matches, and Raw live event notes

- Jose vs. Rezar:
Yeah Rezar's not in a dancing mood.

Not bad, just kind of nondescript. I wouldn't have minded AOP being off the air until Akam recovered.

- Crews vs. EC3:
Fine start.

I'm liking this.

Oh wow. That was good; I'm just surprised EC3 lost to Crews.

Tyler Breeze, Harper, and Rusev mocked Ronda Rousey's recent Twitter "promo" on their own accounts. Ronda tried WAY too hard to make their feud look "real" that it ultimately confirmed the feud as extremely fake.

- Tommy Wiseau weighed in on their back-and-forth. This is surreal.

- The "roasting" continued, with Becky Lynch referencing Vince Russo and The Disaster Artist. Becky's mostly good, but some of Ronda's tweets are cringeworthy.

Booker T. has finished his radio show. He teased an announcement for Monday, which could be a new show on a different home.

New Day is visiting India tomorrow to promote the country's WWE tryouts.

"Fighting With My Family" director Stephen Merchant defended wrestling in a piece for The Guardian. Interesting thoughts about why wrestling is maligned.

MLW's move to Saturday nights has already impressed BeIN Sports. They're doing much better than Impact on Pursuit.

NJPW's G1 Climax event from Texas will air live on AXS. That's pretty important.

Dana Warrior is being considered for WWE Creative to add an additional woman to the team. She sat in on meetings at Raw.

WWE will have a women's evolution panel at SXSW with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Charlotte Flair, and Cathy Kelley. WWE really wants to sell that direction and expand their audience due to it.

Tye Dillinger is now wrestling as Shawn Spears and taking independent bookings. Notably, he used that name in OVW.

- A May 31 event is being billed as his first post-WWE match, so he might not be able to wrestle at Double or Nothing after all.

Chris Jericho had WOW's David McLane and Abilene Maverick on his latest podcast. Of course, their show airs after NJPW's on AXS.

Johnny Gargano spoke before an NXT show in Ohio. He's poised to become a big name.

Madison Rayne signed a multi-year contract with Impact Wrestling after leaving ROH over creative differences. That's definitely a gain for Impact at ROH's expense, although we'll see how they use her going forward.

Scott Norton has an autobiography coming May 25.

Smackdown Live has announced:
- The Miz vs. Jey Uso
- R-Truth defending the United States Championship in an Open Challenge, just like his hero John Cena!!!!

At Raw's March 1 live event in Maryland:
- Lacey Evans lost to Natalya, so Evans is on Raw's dates this weekend
- Heavy Machinery defeated The Ascension, so Otis and Tucker are also on Raw this weekend

More wrestling coming up.
