Arn Anderson's WWE release was due to an argument with Vince McMahon. Anderson had at times openly criticized creative directions to talent, but he was well liked by key wrestlers. Anderson was reportedly fine with his release after so many years backstage in WWE.

Bruce Prichard had been a consultant for Vince McMahon since January before coming in full-time on an official basis.

- Prichard will still be making all announced non-WWE dates, and could be able to continue taking bookings outside of the company.

The former Hideo Itami is expected to return to NOAH as KENTA. Obviously he could benefit from somewhere like AEW, but there's no current expectation of him working there.

Former NXT star Nick Miller is working in NJPW as Mikey Nicholls. I'm very curious what Shane Thorne's future holds given that development.

David Finlay suffered a shoulder injury at Honor Rising on February 23. He has been pulled from NJPW's New Japan Cup. There are no further details at this point.

Honor Rising's two nights drew sellouts of more than 1,600 each night.

Batista vs. The Undertaker was considered for WrestleMania given Triple H's injury, but obviously now they're back to the original plan. Undertaker is still not booked for that show at this time.

Mustafa Ali is expected to be cleared to return soon. Kofi owes him one! I hope Mustafa still has a big future.

Daniel Bryan was originally set to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania. Owens was brought back early for the Fast Lane angle. It's possible Kofi Kingston is replacing him at WrestleMania, which would definitely be really big for Kofi.

CMLL and The Crash are now working together, which hypothetically opens the door for working agreements with ROH and NJPW from The Crash.

NJPW's Hiromu Takahashi is expected to announce a comeback soon. He has been out of the ring since July.

NJPW Young Lion Karl Fredericks recently had a severe ankle sprain.

LuFisto has announced her retirement due to knee problems. She will take select dates, but has canceled many upcoming matches. She recently severely sprained her knee.

MLW will run a two-hour live episode on April 5 featuring the Battle Riot.

AEW and MLW are in talks about MLW talent working Double or Nothing. That would definitely be beneficial for MLW.

G1 Supercard will air on PPV, Fite TV, New Japan World, and Honor Club. ROH and NJPW obviously want as many people to watch this as they can.

Tommaso Ciampa recently suffered a neck injury that resulted in him being written off wrestling on TV this week. He's been dealing with the issue for at least a month, but was looking to put off treating it until after WrestleMania weekend. He has been pulled out of the ring while he deals with it.

NXT UK has tapings set for July 19 and July 20 in England.

WWE Network's final February Hidden Gems were:
- Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch vs. Ernie Ladd and Sailor Art Thomas from AWA in 1972
- Cowboy Bill Watts and Thunderbolt Patterson vs. The Minnesota Wrecking Crew from Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1977
- Junkyard Dog (as Big Daddy Ritter) vs. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart from Stampede Wrestling in 1979

KM is expected to remain with Impact Wrestling once his current deal expires this weekend. It looks like he's going to work per appearance rather than signing a new contract.

Gail Kim is on the Celebrity Stage Stories podcast.

NXT's Candice LeRae was scheduled for Smackdown Live's live events this weekend, but has been moved back to NXT live events. That's a shame, because she could absolutely be a player on either TV brand after WrestleMania.

Mark Henry is on Jim Ross' latest podcast.

"Fighting With My Family"'s director discussed wrestling with AV Club.

Madison Rayne has left ROH due to unhappiness with the creative direction there. The two sides met and agreed to end her contract. She's free to work anywhere else immediately. She was definitely one of the highlights of WOH. Stardom and CMLL continue to carry that division.

Impact released the opening for tonight's episode. They do a great job catching people up each week.

Buddy Murphy has announced a "vacation" from 205 Live. Well, if he's not defending the title until WrestleMania, I can't say I blame him!

Tommaso Ciampa and Eddie Guerrero have new ProWrestlingTees shoes. Amazing WWE is letting an NXT talent do that.

Fast Lane has added Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin. Wow. If only there was someone who would join those two....

Rosemary has signed a new Impact Wrestling contract. I'd LOVE to see her in NXT, but who knows how she would do on Raw or Smackdown Live. She's definitely made a mark in Impact.

Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch are continuing their Twitter feud with Ronda talking about Becky's "fake armbar" and "going off script." That's pretty terrible, honestly. They're now in "trying too hard' territory. Less is more!

The Nation of Dominaton's history was covered by WWE.com, with D'Lo Brown, Mark Henry, Ron Simmons/Farooq, and The Godfather all weighing in. They had amazing heat. I don't think they'd be able to do anything like that today.

WWE's Scooby Doo WrestleMania movie has been added to Boomerang's streaming service. Every WWE Warner Bros. animated movie is now available there.

Pat McAfee discussed coming to WWE and more on The Rich Eisen Show.

WWE has uploaded NXT UK Takeover:Blackpool to their YouTube channel, with some production edits due to the blood. That's a major event to showcase for free.

Karen Q made her NXT live event debut Thursday in Florida, teaming with Lacey Lane in a loss to Aliyah and Vanessa Borne. She used that name, so it looks like she'll keep doing so in WWE.

NXT's Ohio live event Thursday saw Candice LeRae and Mia Yim team to defeat Rhea Ripley and Reina Gonzalez. The experimentation for NXT women's teams continues with the new tag team titles being announced.

More wrestling tomorrow.
