HBK advertised for Raw, house show note, possible plans for McIntyre, why Smackdown's on Tuesday, Questions on Natalya, Mascaras, "doing right by the fans" and Undertaker, more on WWE's Cruiserweight show, Miz and Hogan interviews, Hardy video, Maryse interview, Smackdown rating, more on upcoming Hall of Famers, Graham hospitalized, and Eve injured

Shawn Michaels is being advertised for the 2/13 Raw, one week before the Elimination Chamber. Rumored plans are for him to be the special referee for HHH vs. Taker at WrestleMania.

It has been confirmed that the FCW talent working last weekend's house shows was Kenneth Cameron.

The next story involves possible spoilers for the Drew McIntyre storyline: There's talk of using his losing streak to relaunch his character as more of an arrogant playboy. Whatever lets him show what he can do as a talent in a fresh role that isn't terrible works for me.

SyFy is putting Smackdown live on 2/21 for the "sweeps" period in February. That worked out in WWE's favor, as they can really start things with a bang after Elimination Chamber.

This weekend will be WWE's first having live events in the United Arab Emirates. Pretty cool.

As for my look at PWInsider.com's questions:
1 and 2 are related, and I don't have anymore insight than they do. Sometimes, sadly, they apparently do things to amuse themselves or "not be predictable" instead of to make a good product.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's questions and news. Next up, WWE's "disrespect" to Mil Mascaras.

3. Ugh. They're just holding off on featuring Mascaras in the graphics, because it's more convenient for them to advertise Edge and the Horsemen as the first inductees. They'll give him his due when things kick into higher gear after Elimination Chamber.

4. If you guys want good wrestling and storylines so much, why did NXT and Superstars do so poorly on TV? Why isn't ROH the top promotion in the country? Like it or not, the Internet fans' opinion isn't the gospel truth about how fans view wrestling. And honestly, that's a misnomer since you're likely even in the minority of Internet fans. John Cena has almost 1.4 million Twitter followers. C.M. Punk has less than half that. Daniel Bryan isn't even at 250,000. TNA's ratings, despite the new critically-acclaimed direction, aren't that different from what they were beforehand. I don't know where this misguided notion of "doing right by the fans" stems from (other than the hardcore fans promoting it and websites getting money and attention by catering to that group), but I would think doing right by them would be giving them what the majority of them want as opposed to the vocal minority.

5. This question lost most of its credibility with the incredibly stupid pun on Johnny Ace. That was bad and BOTH OF YOU should feel bad for promoting that stupid name. But I agree with their opinion on how things will turn out.

WWE is presently planning on signing talent for its planned Cruiserweight-themed show in the spring and summer.

The Miz promoted WWE's upcoming events in the UAE.

Hulk Hogan was interviewed in the UK once more. It's highly doubtful that he only used his creative control once, way back in WCW. The proposed series with Shawn Michaels that ended up just being one match comes to mind (his version of the events differ HUGELY from other versions. He was said to be already gone from the company when Michaels did the big promo on him the night afterward. Not to mention that the whole feud, HBK had been making comments like that, so why should that night be any different?).Also, how hilarious is it that he's calling Warrior nuts given some of his own statements?

Here's a video on Jeff Hardy going for the TNA Title at Against All Odds.

Maryse was interviewed on her time in WWE. She's right about characters. I echo the praise for Finlay and Al Snow as people who "get" wrestling. I wish both were in WWE now behind-the-scenes, though Snow is at TNA. Sadly not all of his advice is heeded.

Smackdown got a 2.19 rating on 2/3. All the stories are going well. I hope this means good things for Barrett, Rhodes, Bryan, Sheamus, and Orton in the future.

In likely spoilers for upcoming Hall of Famers, Ron Simmons, Yokozuna and possibly a tag team are considered for this year's inductions.

"Superstar" Billy Graham has been hospitalized for pneumonia and an infection in his leg. Hopefully he can pull through this latest health issue.

Finally, Eve is believed to have suffered a broken nose on Raw. At the very least, she was bleeding hard after a big clothesline. More on this as it comes out.

That's all for Monday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
