Tonight WWE throws 12 people in the Elimination Chamber with its 2 top titles on the line. Also, two people will beat each other senseless until someone's put in an ambulance. There's also a Divas' Title match. Read on for how I'd book the show.
Note that these matches and scenarios aren't necessarily in the order they "should occur in".
John Laurinaitis has teased some sort of announcement involving HHH and Shawn Michaels. In my scenario, he comes to the ring and announces that he's signed HBK to a 60-day "special appearances contract". HBK did this to continue to try to convince HHH to go after the Streak. Of course, HHH will eventually be goaded into doing it.
For his second order of business, he gives the people "what they want", David Otunga in action. Whoever his opponent was going to be never makes it out, as instead Drew McIntyre comes to the ring with a microphone. He's tired of being overlooked by those in charge, etc.. He gets a match, and eventually surprises Otunga with the Future Shock DDT. This gives him his confidence back, and he changes to a more babyface character. They're dropping the ball with this guy badly. Time to change that.
Beth Phoenix beats Tamina, but Tamina makes her earn it by being on her A-game. On a future episode of Raw or Smackdown, Beth goes on to claim that she's beaten everyone in the division ("all by herself"), and that no one's worthy of challenging her. She makes Natalya hold her title belt as she boasts about her dominance and that no one's a better Diva than her. She talks about how prestigious the title is, etc.. and looks to take the title back. Natalya has second thoughts, and tries to keep it. Beth shoves her down and forcefully takes the title to pose. Natalya attacks her from behind, and goes to put her in the Sharpshooter, but Beth escapes. Natalya vs. Beth at Mania. The "gas" angle is dropped and never mentioned again. It "never happened" as far as WWE's concerned.
John Cena gets the win over Kane after a barn-burner. He "won the match for Zack", and puts on a Broski headband to show that he's sorry. Kane moves on to try to make Ryder embrace the hate and turn on Cena. Kane vs. Ryder at Mania.
C.M. Punk wins a hard-fought Elimination Chamber after Jericho's caught on a Codebreaker attempt and maneuvered into a G2S. As Punk celebrates with the title, Jericho attacks him from behind and throws him into one of the open pods. Jericho locks them both inside (and keeps the key) and puts him in the Walls until bolt cutters are used to free Punk. Punk vs. Jericho at Mania.
The rest of the show depends on who's ready to return from injury. They've been kind of unclear about Henry's status. Not sure about Del Rio (I'll assume he's not ready yet). It's already been hinted that Christian will be at the show.
If Henry's not ready to come back but Christian is, he'll be the one to take out Santino to sneak his way into the Chamber match. Big Show does all the hard work being the last person standing except for Bryan (who's either #6 or closes himself in his pod). Bryan makes quick work of his exhausted target and celebrates all over the Chamber like he won the Super Bowl. Sheamus' music plays and we get a staredown to close the show. Bryan's nervous as all hell. Show turns heel, tired of all the losses. I'm assuming we're getting Big Show vs. Shaq at Mania. If not, Orton fells the giant then.
If Henry and Christian are both ready, Sheamus beats Christian after the latter comes out and challenges him for his Mania match. (Sheamus will be cutting a promo about being there to scout his Mania opponent. Christian would interrupt). Henry takes Santino out backstage and wins the Chamber match. Bryan puts in a valiant effort, though, and blames Theodore Long for the loss. Long makes Bryan vs. Orton at Mania when Orton's ready to return. Sheamus vs. Henry for the World Title.
