Impact-NFL press release, Ruby update, another NXT match, UK Title angle, Dalton signs new contract, another "Total Divas" cast change, title match set for Raw, WWE live event notes, and Questions on Dalton's future, Alberto-Paige, Adam Cole's next move, burying HHH post-Curtain Call, and Flair jumping back to WCW

Impact Wrestling issued an official press release on NFL's DeAngelo Williams working Slammiversary. The company has gotten some pretty decent press from the announcement, which was the goal. I assume this is just a one-time thing to get attention for the PPV. It's fine by me; they can only get so much business without reaching outside the wrestling bubble. They need to get some eyeballs from "normies," too.

Ruby Riot received stitches after being busted open in a match with Asuka. I hope Ruby's got a good future in WWE.

Kassius Ohno vs. Aleister Black is advertised for this week's NXT. That sounds AMAZING.

NXT ran an angle between Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews before their UK Title match. I like this kind of thing. Too much of wrestling is "we're going to have a match and I'm going to win that title because I'm the better wrestler."

Dalton Castle has signed a new contract with ROH. That's great news for ROH. As much as I'd love to see him move on to another promotion, maybe he'll get to really shine there as a valuable performer.

Renee Young will not be returning to "Total Divas" this season. I wouldn't read anything into that beyond there being a cast change. She's still very much a part of things in WWE.

The Hardys will get their rematch with Sheamus and Cesaro on Raw. I hope the Europeans don't have a criminally short reign. The Hardys will be plenty over without the titles.

Charlotte remains off Smackdown live events as part of work for a USA Network movie special. She will still be part of Money in the Bank.

Emma has returned to action on Raw live events as a heel. So, hopefully she'll be back on TV soon. Notably she'll have to compete with Alexa and Nia as heels, so she's got something of a ceiling there.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Hopefully they'll start using him more prominently going forward.

2. The reality show continues!

3. That would definitely be the night to do it! Hopefully some other former ROH names will be joining him in NXT and WWE sooner rather than later. They could conceivably make use of Kyle O'Reilly, Donovan Dijak, Lio Rush (205 Live), and Mike Bennett.

4. As was said, it wasn't just KOTR but everything that could have come from winning that. Thankfully he rebounded after that.

5. That's one of the great things about WWF having a high-level competitor with deep pockets.

More wrestling tomorrow.
