Clash of Champions preview

Read on for my ideas for booking tonight's Smackdown-brand WWE Network special event.
-- Kickoff:- Ryder vs. Mojo:
Normally I'd support Mojo winning to give him momentum and all of that, but I'd save that for TV when there's a bigger audience. Zack wins leading to a fired-up Mojo taking things to the next level on a future Smackdown, getting a bigger win. I think these two are going to be working against each other for a while.

-- Clash of Champions:
- B. Bros vs. Breezango:
The Bludgeon Brothers have got to get the win here. I LOVE Breezango, but Harper and Rowan need to look strong. I'd start the monsters on the road to the tag team titles at Wrestlemania.

- Charlotte vs. Natalya:
Charlotte retains. I'd have her drop the title on the road to Wrestlemania due to Horsewomen interference.

- Corbin vs. Roode vs. Ziggler:
Corbin retains. He's worth continuing to push. Roode can move up the card.

- Usos vs. Big E/Xavier vs. Shelton/Gable vs. Rusev/Aiden:
I'm thinking New Day here. Certainly Harper and Rowan will need face opponents when they reach the title picture. Shelton and Gable can still be in the mix, though. And maybe Rusev and Aiden become faces to work the Usos?

- AJ vs. Jinder:
AJ retains. Jinder faces Roode, and I suppose we can do AJ vs. Shinsuke at the Rumble. The show pretty much sells itself with the Rumble(s) and the Universal Title match.

- Orton/Shinsuke vs. Owens/Zayn:
Shane gets his wish, helping Orton and Nakamura get the win. However, Bryan reveals on Smackdown he had a contingency plan in case something like this went down. Before Clash of Champions, he entered Owens and Zayn in the Royal Rumble. If either man wins, both are reinstated to their Smackdown contracts.

More wrestling coming up.
