Smackdown and 205 Live Reax - 12/12/17

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Smackdown and 205 Live.
-- Smackdown:
- Owens/Zayn/Gable/Benjamin:
OH MY GOD. Goofy, but fun.

- AJ/Singhs/Jinder:
AJ should be checked out by WWE physicians if he's not eating or sleeping.

It's still weird Khali showed up for one night and disappeared.

At least Samir and Sunil are still here.

From the Yep Movement to hugging it out, tonight's a tribute to Bryan.

Hmmm.... AJ having two people in his corner kind of makes Jinder the underdog.

OH MY GOD THEY ACKNOWLEDGED A LIVE EVENT!!

Wow. The Singhs are just going to get killed by everyone on this show, huh?

- Charlotte vs. Ruby:
Good start.

Pretty solid already.

I'm liking the work here.

That turned into a mess, which is fine to build something bigger.

- Post-match:
Uh-oh...

Naomi was prepared this time.

Good next step.

- Bryan/Owens/Sami:
I love them blatantly mocking Bryan. It's a shame Miz didn't do this when he was on the show, but I'm glad someone is.

- Corbin vs. Ziggler:
PLEASE DON'T TURN DOLPH FACE AGAIN.

Glad that didn't go too long.

- Post-match:
Fine to continue to Sunday.

- Fashion Files:
But the Fashion Files are a highlight of the show each week! I have to watch this on WWE.com.

R.I.P. Ascension.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Tully's a bigger loss than Konnor and Viktor.

OH MY GOD THIS ASCENSION BURIAL.

I don't blame them for not wanting to face Rowan and Harper. Especially after what happened to the camera.

- B. Bros vs. Delaney/Monroe:
OH MY GOD IT'S COLIN DELANEY!!! I loved him on ECW.

I like the ass-kicking from the former Luke and Erick here.

Fun work!

- Owens/Zayn/Bryan:
This is great.

Shane is definitely vindictive, but it's not like Kevin and Sami are innocent here.

I wonder if they can impeach Shane?

WWE has gotten more out of "yes" than the guy who started it in UFC did!

I like Sami and Kevin playing the similarities with Bryan.

Ohhhhh boyyyy. Shane and Bryan will be the focal point of the match, it looks like.

- Aiden/Rusev/Usos/Gable/Benjamin:
If Jinder ever turns face, they need to run with the "Don't Hinder Jinder" meme.

I like the Usos having attitude.

Chad and Shelton were good there.

- Aiden/Rusev vs. Usos:
I'm pleasantly surprised Aiden is making something of himself now. He was aimless for a while post-Vaudevillains.

This is pretty good.

Nice ending!

- AJ/Jinder:
I'm curious how the Singhs will play into Sunday.

Jinder's just upset AJ beat up the Singhs tonight instead of him getting the honor.

- Orton/Nakamura interview:
It's a shame we won't see Owens and Zayn show up in Impact or something as part of them being "fired."

Shinsuke's kind of floundering right now. It's tough for both sides to adapt him to the WWE way of doing things.

- Shinsuke vs. Owens:
Both men have a lot of experience. They know what they're doing here.

I like the story so far.

Good physicality here.

Good story so far.

These two work together pretty well.

Nice to see Shinsuke go on a tear.

Uh-oh.....

Wow. That referee's going to be confused when he comes to.

I like all of this.

Pretty good ending to things.

- Post-match:
I hope they don't get fired after this. YEP! YEP! YEP! YEP!

-- 205 Live:
- Gulak/Ariya/Cedric:
Gulak's pretty good at building hype for everyone.

It's a shame Noam's going to miss time. He was a lot of fun when he was featured.

- Ariya vs. Cedric:
I like this so far.

Gulak going the extra mile here.

Drew with the assist at ringside.

Good counter-wrestling here.

Hahaha even Daivari isn't supposed to go up top.

Not bad at all!

- Zo Train:
I'm liking the Enzo/Gulak story overall.

Enzo's even arrogant to his own teammates!!

- Kendrick/Gallagher promo:
I like quick little promos like this sometimes.

Not bad!

- Gallagher vs. Kalisto:
Jack is really smooth in the ring.

Good start here.

Kalisto's agility and athleticism are always impressive.

Jack's mean streak really adds something to his work.

I love the work on Kalisto's leg.

This is pretty solid!

This is heating up well.

Nice ending sequence.

- Post-match:
LU CHA! LU CHA! LU CHA! LU CHA!

Not bad to keep things going.

- Gulak/Enzo:
This will be interesting.

- Enzo vs. Nese:
Wow. This is abusive.

Interesting...

- Post-match:
Enzo's paranoia and need to control really kicking in here.

This is pretty good!

Big character moment for Enzo and Gulak.

I liked that to establish Enzo as a heel.

More wrestling coming up.
