Interviews with Impact execs/Alexa/Bayley/Cathy/Sasha, WWE Middle East notes, NXT on USA ad, GLOW earns praise, WWE signs Middle Eastern name, WWE royalties lawsuit dropped, Nash surgery, Impact and Psych movie audience, Flair doc in the UK, and Questions on women wrestling in the Middle East, going from WWE to the indies, HOH's focus, and NXT on USA

Impact's Scott D'Amore and Don Callis talked to Chris Jericho, recapped here:
- I think talent will appreciate being able to take the work they want when they're not in Impact.

- They've got big plans internationally, but they've really got their work cut out for them being successful.

- There are only a few established Impact stars left, and some of them could be leaving in the months to come.

- I have liked the "on-the-road" footage from the company.

- There are definitely times when a good wrestling mind can come up with and put together a character better than the person playing the character.

WWE shot an angle at the December 7 show in the UAE to set up Triple H vs. Roman Reigns on the December 8 show.

Alexa Bliss talked about her success and more. I'm hoping for Alexa vs. Asuka at Wrestlemania.

Bayley is on the most recent Edge and Christian podcast. Looks like she's safe as a babyface with Absolution coming in. Otherwise, I would have almost definitely turned her heel. She's spinning her tires as a face.

Cathy Kelley gave a long interview to Sam Roberts. She's a great face for WWE's Internet presence.

The Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering were in an ad for NXT on USA Network. It's always fun to see them smash people.

Sasha Banks talked about making history in the United Arab Emirates. That's a REALLY big moment.

- Stephanie McMahon promoted the milestone as well.

GLOW was named the best television series of 2017 by Entertainment Weekly. It's currently shooting a second season.

WWE has signed Kuwait's Nasser Alruwayeh. I like seeing WWE reaching out to other cultures.

Buff Bagwell and Raven have dropped their case against WWE regarding royalties after meeting with WWE attorneys, with the court dismissing it with prejudice. This means neither party can file against WWE again. As a result, WWE can go back to uploading content featuring the two talents, namely WCW Thunder and WWE Heat. WWE had held off on adding those shows to the WWE Network due to the lawsuit, and even looked into removing existing footage of Bagwell and Raven. This is a big move for WWE Network and for the business as a whole, as the case being decided legally would have had major implications one way or another.

Kevin Nash underwent knee surgery. I hope that's the last procedure he has to have. We'll see what shape he's in for the Raw 25th anniversary.

Impact Wrestling drew 226,000 viewers this week. That would make the show the least-watched episode of the series that wasn't a clip show and/or on a holiday.

Triple H saved Roman Reigns from an attack by The Bar following Reigns defeating The Game in the U.A.E., leading to The Shield and Triple H shaking hands. HHH constantly moves from face to heel and back again on live events.

Ric Flair's "30 for 30" documentary will air in the UK on December 15.

"Psych The Movie" with Charlotte Flair drew 1.26 million viewers.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It's a cultural difference in regard to how women should appear in public. The Islamic world is generally more conservative on that issue.

2. Yikes. I mean, I'm sure everyone wants to win all the time and make a lot of money, and certainly no one wants to go from wrestling in front of thousands of people to smaller crowds with less prominence and pay, but if he's going to continue wrestling, he's going to have to be able to get promotions to book him.

3. I definitely think there's an intention to play off acts that worked in other promotions, although there are less well known talents in the mix, too. Hey, if fans are willing to pay to see some of those names and they're willing to work for the right price, it's fine to use them as long as there's the realization they won't be able to work forever.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. Since Tribute to the Troops is on Thursday, NXT makes four straight nights of WWE on the channel. NXT airing on USA would be a BIG game-changer for everyone involved, since that's been a selling point for the WWE Network. The balance of trying to make money for TV rights and trying to get people to become subscribers is a delicate one.

More wrestling tomorrow.
