Impact running more shows, Adamle on CTE effects, recent Impact departures taking bookings, 205 Live live event preview, Tribute and Raw guests, WWF name writing book, Bret and Owens honored in Canada, Reby Hardy on WWE Network, UK title match in PROGRESS, Dawson injury update, Smackdown audience, Rousey-WWE signing imminent, Hogan merch coming, and Questions on booking Finn, erasing Wellness strikes, why Brock is still champion, and how matches are put together

Impact is looking to run more frequent tapings going forward, taping a month at a time instead of two months and also doing live events in small venues. That's a good goal if it can be worked out financially.

Mike Adamle discussed living with the effects of CTE. That's got to be a nightmare. Hopefully future generations won't have to worry about it.

James Storm and Earl Hebner are actively taking bookings now that neither will be working with Impact any longer. Storm is still under contract with Impact until early January, but can do independent appearances.

Nia Jax is booked for 205 Live's January live events as the special referee for Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto for the Cruiserweight Championship. She'll be headed to that brand going forward. With Absolution taking over the Raw women's scene, maybe it's good to have Nia out of the picture there for a while.

- Hideo Itami is also booked for 205 Live's January shows.

JBL, Mark Henry, and Ricky Steamboat attended Tribute to the Troops. JBL pushed for the original show to happen.

YouTube star Lily Singh was front row at Raw. I hope WWE is able to connect with that age group through videos like that.

"Dr. D" David Schultz has an autobiography coming out in early 2018 that will cover his wrestling days as well as his later career as a bounty hunter. That could be a pretty interesting read.

Bret Hart, Kevin Owens, and early 1900s star Eugene Tremblay have been inducted into the Quebec Wrestling Hall of Fame. It's big for Owens to already be in a Hall of Fame this soon into his WWE career, but certainly his pre-WWE work gives him more of a legacy in the area.

Rebecca Hardy has been interviewed as part of the "WWE 24" episode focusing on the Hardys. That should be memorable!

Pete Dunne will defend the WWE UK Championship against Joseph Conners at PROGRESS 59 on January 15. I'm glad the brand is getting some visibility while plans for a tour continue to come together.

Scott Dawson should be returning in January. That's good. I have really missed The Revival's teamwork.

Steve Austin was on Craig Ferguson's most recent podcast.

Smackdown drew 2.49 million viewers Tuesday night, a significant drop from the previous week. Notably, AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal were headed to WWE's Middle Eastern tour while this show was airing.

Ronda Rousey is close to signing with WWE. She could end up working there for a number of big matches, starting at Wrestlemania 34.

Hulk Hogan is now selling merchandise at ProWrestlingTees.com, giving them another major name on the website.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Because if someone like Braun or Joe is going to get over strong, they have to dish out some serious damage to someone who matters. Someone's got to take an ass-kicking, and Finn's good enough to rebound from those.

2. Hopefully talents don't reach that point, but if they do, I hope they take advantage of the service.

3. The theory is the longer Brock holds the title and the more people he beats, the more it means when someone finally does beat him. Also, the main event of Wrestlemania 34 will play off what happened at Wrestlemania 33 with Reigns being the second person to beat Taker there on the same night Brock started this title run.

4. Vince has final say over which pitches get approved. If he thinks a match will benefit from going a certain amount of time, he'll give it that much time.

5. They can pitch pretty much anything. If the producers/bookers like the workers' ideas, they'll go with them. I'm sure everyone wants to win every match, do the coolest moves, and get the biggest push, etc., so management has to decide which wishes get granted so to speak.

More wrestling tomorrow.
