DX member at training seminar, former women's champions discuss Rumble, Tokyo Dome getting book, Big Event lineup revealed, Memphis DVD coming, new ROH title designs, Cena in the Rumble, ECW alumna on Twitter, 2017 future endeavors, Raw visitors, what happened after Raw, and Questions on Vince letting HHH run tapings, another wrestler relationship?, Vince swerving stockholders on the XFL, and Anthem dropping LAW

Billy Gunn will hold a training seminar at Ken Anderson and Shawn Daivari's wrestling school on February 19. It's good to see a variety of locations offering credible preparation for the business.

Lilian Garcia's podcast featured Gail Kim, Victoria, Molly Holly, Michelle McCool, and Candice Michelle discussing the women's Royal Rumble. That's quite the panel!

The Tokyo Dome's history as a wrestling venue is the subject of an upcoming book. That's how big of a deal that venue is.

"The Big Event" in March in New York will feature Bret Hart, Vader, Dan Severn, Col. Rob Parker, Madusa, Molly Holly, Tessa Blanchard, Brooke Tessmacher, Victoria/Tara, Rachel Ellering/Evers,
Lacey Von Erich and Brandi Rhodes among others. Impressive lineup.

A DVD on Memphis Wrestling titled "Wrestling Retro Stars Of The 80's" is due out on January 23. Jerry Lawler, Dutch Mantel, the Rock 'N' Roll Express, Koko B. Ware, Jimmy Valiant, and Bill Dundee are all featured.

ROH revealed their new championship designs. I'm a fan of them.

John Cena announced entering the Royal Rumble on Twitter. I wouldn't expect him to win, but his addition gives the match a pretty big star.

ECW's Francine has joined Twitter. It's weird to think of an ECW name as a "diva."

YouTube remembered WWE's 2017 departures, as is an annual tradition. There were actually more people than there was footage of this year!

Enzo Amore was legitimately hospitalized before Raw due to an unspecified illness. Realest guy in the hospital.

The Rock's mother and oldest daughter were ringside at Raw, as was NBA's Udonis Haslem. Miami is a WWE-friendly town, for sure.

Braun Strowman brawled with Kane after Raw, leading to powerslamming Kane through a table.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1.Vince is less directly involved in places, but he's still the one calling the shots. To use the ship metaphor, sometimes the captain lets someone else steer for a while, but the captain still determines where they're headed, how quickly, etc. In this case, Vince is almost always supervising how the ship is sailing.

2. Yeah, I'm not sure where that came from. I guess it could be a case of them being related WAY back, like fourth cousins or greater, but that would be news to me.

3. I would think it would be illegal to suggest you're investing in something just to "swerve" stockholders.

4 is a repeat.

5. Anthem cut them at a time when they were cutting a lot of costs due to the Impact purchase. I wouldn't assume it was just a case of Anthem being upset at what was said on the show.

More wrestling tomorrow.
