Read on for my ideas for booking tonight's WWE Network special.
- Ohno vs. Dream:
Kassius gets this one. I love Velveteen, and I think his momentum needs to continue, but he can only go so far up the card with Almas and Cole around. I wouldn't mind Velveteen winning a rematch on NXT TV. He can then move on to face Roderick Strong.
- Ember vs. Baszler:
Ember wins. Shayna seeks revenge on NXT TV. It's too soon for Ember to drop the title after all they did to build her. I'd like to eventually see Nikki vs. Baszler. Maybe a triple threat during Mania weekend?
- Era vs. Authors:
The countdown is on for the Authors to be moved to Raw or Smackdown. I'm thinking the Authors show up on the Smackdown after Mania to start the build to Authors vs. Bludgeon Brothers. So, the Authors lose here to put a really strong duo over as champs.
- Black vs. Cole:
Black survives everything Cole throws at him until Lars Sullivan arrives and moves this one in Cole's favor. Cole sets his sights on the NXT Championship while Black is busy with Lars. Kassius opposes Cole's goals there. I'm thinking Almas vs. Cole vs. Black vs. Kassius during Mania weekend.
- Almas vs. Gargano:
Black vs. Cole needs to start the show so this match can get away with a similar ending. Gargano gets Almas in position to potentially become the next champion when Tommaso Ciampa reminds his former partner of their unfinished business. Almas celebrates as Tommaso mauls Johnny.
