Commentary change with brand split?, Cena collection coming, Wrestling shapes the world, NXT live event notes, Interviews with Dixie, Miami wants Mania, JR health note, HoFer retiring, meet CWC participant, WWE press, Smackdown audience, ROH matches set, and Questions on Mr. Anderson, WWE supporting Trump, Network residuals, and punishing Y2J for shoving a referee

Corey Graves teased coming to Smackdown. I assume he'd replace Byron Saxton on that show following the brand split. I think that'd be worth a shot. As much as I'd love for WWE to drop Lawler and JBL, I don't see them parting with experienced color commentators like that. As for what that means for NXT, I'm not sure whom they'd plug in his current spot. Matt Bloom's an interesting possibility, or one of the other trainers; I think Regal being GM and commentator would be something of a "conflict of interest."

John Cena's early career will be the focus of a WWE Network collection soon. For those who just know him as the 15-time WWE Champion, it's worth checking out his earlier days.

- The collection will feature footage of John from UPW and OVW. This is the first time anything from either former developmental territory will appear on the Network. It's possible in the future we see more former developmental content on the Network, but I don't really see a big demand for that kind of content.

The New York Times examined pro wrestling as a catalyst for reality shows and the state of modern politics. Great, great read.

Lana worked another NXT live event this week, losing in a tag match. There's speculation of a big mixed-tag coming up involving Rusev and Lana. In any case, it's good to have her training to work effectively so she can potentially be used in bigger roles.

Murphy cut a promo at an NXT live event about trying to win back Alexa Bliss. So, they're still kind of in an angle despite working separately. Blake is out with an injury.

Dixie Carter gave two interviews in India:
- TNA is looking for an Indian female wrestler and wants to talk to some amateur Olympic athletes there. That's worth a shot. India's an important emerging market for WWE and TNA.

- Dixie also wants Bollywood's Salman Khan involved in TNA in some fashion. It would make sense to use him in conjunction with TNA's tour of India whenever that happens.

Miami is looking to hold either Wrestlemania 34, 35, or 36. I agree WWE would likely aim toward Miami hosting 35 or 36 given 33 being in Orlando. I expect the next Mania in Miami will see The Rock go into the HoF, and possibly work a retirement match. He'll definitely be a big part of the show again.

Jim Ross was recently treated for skin cancer. The surgery was a success. I worry skin cancer is only going to become more prevalent in the years to come. Hopefully this is JR's last bout with it.

"Bullet" Bob Armstrong is announced for a retirement match on June 4. The HoFer is 76 and last wrestled in 2013.

CWC qualifier Drew Gulak and his brother Rory were profiled by Philly.com:
- I can only imagine the nightmares their parents went through after those brotherly fights.

- CZW sounds pretty wild, and not just for the crazy in-ring action.

- What parents let a 14- and 17-year-old train to wrestle!?

- The Amazing Gulaks gimmick sounds pretty cool, a bit like the Vaudevillains.

Summer Rae threw the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs game Friday. That's pretty cool.

Smackdown's audience Thursday was 2.11 million. I can see why they want to revamp the show come July.

Colt Cabana vs. Adam Cole is set for ROH's June 12 live event, playing off the finish to Global Wars. Hopefully we also see that at BITW unless there's something bigger planned then. That should be an important feud for the company.

ROH has a tag team tournament set for their June 11 and 12 shows, with the winners challenging for the championships at the June 25 TV taping. Round one will feature:
- Lethal/Strong vs. Briscoes vs. reDRagon
- Young/Bruiser vs. Rush/Moose vs. War Machine
- RPG Vice vs. Bucks vs. ANX.

-- The winners face off on the June 12 show.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. He's mostly been working in the UK since then, though he's also worked Ireland, Germany, and Australia.

2. I strongly doubt WWE as a company will endorse any candidate not named McMahon, especially someone as divisive as Trump. It's possible Vince endorses Trump, but I definitely don't see the company publicly supports any major candidate given how many people of the other party it could upset.

3. No one ever addressed it. It's likely there aren't many residuals to give out. The Network was a really expensive venture and a huge investment. There was a bigger pie to give a slice of when PPVs were more costly.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. Jericho, the heel, was caught up in the moment and ended the match as soon as he could so Neville could get help. The referees know how to take bumps, so it's not like he attacked someone viciously or out-of-character. They were much more concerned with Neville's health.

More wrestling tomorrow.
