Stone Cold Steve Austin announced he's not hosting the Shane McMahon podcast due to continuing to rehabilitate his surgery following surgery. He doesn't want to jeapordize his recovery by traveling to talk to Shane.

WWE Network has shuffled some of its content around in order to have fewer sections. Several big ECW events that weren't on PPV have been moved to the PPV section, presumably to keep everything in one place.

Adam Rose deleted his Twitter postings referencing his Wellness policy suspension. It's possible WWE told him to or he feared backlash from them. I'm sure they're less than pleased he's calling them out for their mistake.

Update: Rose posted new Tweets addressing the situation. He's standing his ground. I can appreciate that, but I don't know if WWE will.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Despite his appearance on NXT, Eric Young has not been signed by WWE. I expect the two sides are still talking, as well as between WWE and Bobby Roode. Both men would be great additions to the company.

WWE has replaced NXT's strength and conditioning coach with former NFL strength coach Sean Hayes. I hope he's a good addition to the brand.

WWE could integrate the Global Cruiserweight Series into NXT tapings this summer, instead of keeping it as a separate event. I'm split on whether I'd rather see it as part of NXT, since so many of the participants won't be NXT talents. NXT should be for the people developing to be main roster stars.

- WWE has renamed the event The Cruiserweight Classic, likely to play off the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. That could signal it being made part of NXT's shows. Hopefully there will still be plenty of international names.

Matt Sydal is expected to sign with NJPW soon, although I expect he'll continue appearing for ROH regularly. ROH is pretty much NJPW's NXT at this point. Or more like FCW for flippy wrestlers.

ROH/NJPW's sold out May 14 show in NYC will feature Strong/Lethal/Jay Briscoe vs. Tanahashi/Okada/Ishii, as well as Tetsuya Naito vs. ACH.

NJPW's Jay White is expected to begin working in ROH soon. Jay Briscoe vs. Jay Lethal vs. Jay White when?

WWE has applied to trademark Colin Cassady, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. I pretty much thought they kept Gallows as "Luke" because they already had that trademarked. At least he's not Festus Gallows or Fake Kane Gallows, although either of those could be fun.

Velvet Sky is looking to trademark her own wrestling name. I wouldn't assume she'd keep that name in WWE. It will be interesting to see what her future is.

Cameron addressed her support of Ryback. I do think people need to get over what she said on Tough Enough. She can't improve and become more knowledgeable about wrestling if she doesn't get chances to do so.

Naomi has been recovering from a torn tendon in her ankle. Both members of Team B.A.D. are on the DL now.

Impact Wrestling drew 303,000 viewers Tuesday night, down from the previous week. Whether that has anything to do with Roode and Young leaving is unknown.

Some notes from NXT in Kansas:
- Murphy lost to No Way Jose. Blake wasn't on the show, and he wasn't accompanied by Alexa.

- Tyler Breeze made a surprise appearance to lose to Shinsuke Nakamura. That's interesting, since he's actually in an angle on WWE TV now. I think that's a good matchup, though.

- Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton teamed up to lose to American Alpha. I wouldn't assume Wolfe and Fulton will be a team regularly, but it's worth noting they were a duo here.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That would have been REALLY awkward in hindsight.

2. In addition to what they said, the match was a callback to a previous NXT match that put Charlotte on the map as women's champion there.

3. I can definitely see HHH vs. Shane happening, with each competitor being in charge of one brand with its own unique roster (likely determined by a draft or something).

4. She worked one last match for TNA at the most recent set of tapings, then left as soon as her contract was up. She's now a free agent and can taking bookings wherever she wants.

5. I could see HHH inducting her with (a) family member(s) accepting on her behalf.

More wrestling tomorrow.
