Halloween matches on the Network, cruisers work NXT, more Dusty Classic teams, TE winner released, another wrestler doing MMA, former Justin Gabriel injured, Final Battle main event, more ROH injuries, WWE live event notes, former WWE Champion misses AAA show, what happened after BFG, and Questions on booking The Club, Miz vs. Ziggler, Taker returning, and dropping the Diva name

WWE Network has added a Halloween-themed collection featuring a LOT of Undertaker matches and stipulations like casket matches and Buried Alive. I love some crazy gimmick matches, and I'd like to see more of them in WWE. You can have wild gimmick matches that aren't necessarily dangerous (unless they involve Seth Rollins).

Lince Dorado and Cedric Alexander worked another NXT live event this week. Since they're not part of Raw live events yet, it makes sense to use them in that capacity.

Two more names announced for the Dusty Classic:
- Rich Swann and No Way Jose. That should be pretty fun.
- Bin Wang and HoHo Lun. So, we'll likely see Wang on TV soon. There's been no word of Lun being signed, but he's made a number of appearances for WWE/NXT since the CWC.

WWE has released Tough Enough winner Sara Lee. Her one-year deal is over, and she's now expecting a child. It was the company's decision to release her. She ended up working eight matches on NXT live events. Other than some WWE part-timers, I doubt anyone else made $30,000+ per match in the last year. Other Tough Enough competitors from her season have made more of a splash in NXT than she has just by having televised matches and promos.

Kid Kash will have an MMA bout on November 5. Kash is 47. Not going to lie, I'd pay to see him fight Punk or Ryback.

PJ Black, formerly Justin Gabriel, recently broke both ankles in a basejumping accident. OUCH.

Final Battle will be headlined by Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly to hopefully finally put that feud to bed. Where this gets interesting is NJPW's interest in O'Reilly (whose deal ends at the end of the year) and WWE's interest in Cole (whose deal ends in April). So, this could easily be their last clash and it's possible neither man is champion or even in ROH come May.

Hanson needed five stitches after Saturday's ROH TV taping. Kamaitachi twisted his ankle at that same taping. There are some real warriors in the ROH locker room after that weekend of action.

Curt Hawkins returned to WWE live events this weekend, working with Apollo Crews.

Kane beat Tyler Breeze at live events this weekend. Fandango wasn't on the card.

Alberto El Patron (Del Rio) missed AAA's big TV taping Sunday night. He was spotted in Orlando, Florida, where TNA was taping Bound For Glory. It will be quite interesting indeed if he becomes part of that company. There's no way he's working cheap. Does he have enough name value to boost TNA's business? Obviously he's really talented, and it will be great to see him again if he is headed there.

Ethan Carter III put over the TNA locker room after the main event of BFG. He survived a war at that show, as did The Hardys and Decay. Everyone on the show worked really hard.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Gallows and Anderson were going to head to TNA alongside AJ, then WWE showed interest and AJ and they ended up coming alongside him. Who ever heard of a Club with two people in it? They've been misused by not working alongside someone else, whether that be Heel Rollins or Kevin Owens. It's been crazy.

2. I think Ziggler wins unless they're really going to take a big risk and do an angle where he's screwed out of the title that night and the stipulation is reversed. They could do something where it's revealed Miz paid the referee off or something so Ziggler can return, but I think they'll go the safe option of a Ziggler win. That's somewhat unfortunate given how great Miz has been, but if anyone can rebound, it's him.

3. I hope he comes back as Raul Ziggler, Dolph's Mexican cousin. I'm still disappointed we never got Juan Cena on TV. But I expect Dolph to win.

4. I would think WWE will try to do Cena vs. Taker at WM33. If we see Taker again, I think it will be for a big match there. There's also a possibility we see him involved at Royal Rumble given how big the venue is and the fact it's in Texas. I suppose they could do Cena/Taker there and do a rematch at WM33? Either way (as is said pretty much every year), this could be the last stretch for The Deadman.

5. That reasoning makes sense for me. Stephanie might have been involved, too, given her role as chief brand officer.

More wrestling tomorrow.
