WWE emoji coming, Piper book released, Goldberg-Brock II coming soon?, Angle on addiction and future, NXT and TNA reschedule dates, Dusty Classic bracket, Smackdown audience, WWE Q3 numbers update, Bryan and Brie expecting child, new No Mercy match, Harper back in action, UK names to ROH update, Cena to get hosting gig?, more on Y2J book, TNA moving from Impact Zone?, and Questions on WWE dropping rights to old promotions, Paige's motivation, Ambrose backstage, and pushing Lashley as champion

WWE has registered to trademark "WWEmoji" so it looks like WWE emojis are in the works. That's pretty funny. Hopefully it goes over better than Tout.

The Vancouver Sun previewed the new Roddy Piper book. It sounds like quite the read from one of wrestling's most memorable characters.

Goldberg could be returning to the ring very soon, possibly facing Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. That could be huge, although I wonder how they would follow up on it. Goldberg vs. Cena? Goldberg vs. Reigns? I'm excited for the spectacle of it all.

- Goldberg was noncommital to returning to the ring during his Sportscenter interview, noting his age and expressing concern about tarnishing his legacy. He indicated he would really have to work hard to be ready for such a match. This could easily all be him kayfabing so WWE can announce the match when they want to. Time will tell.

Kurt Angle further discussed his battles with addiction as he promoted his upcoming app. Winning a gold medal with a broken freakin' neck really took its toll on him. That level of determination can be dangerous. I really hope he stays on the sober path and brings others along with him.

The NXT rescheduled their October 8 live event to October 14 due to Hurricane Matthew.

- NXT later rescheduled their October 7 live event, too. I hope everyone in Florida is as safe as they can be!

WWE has released the bracket for the 2016 Dusty Classic. We'll be seeing a lot of varied duos in action as part of the tourney, which is a good idea to test the waters with each of the teamings.

Smackdown's audience Tuesday was 2.32 million viewers, pretty close to last week's number. The show was up against the vice presidential debate and an MLB playoff game.

WWE will release their third-quarter earnings information on October 27. So, we'll see how things went for them in July, August, and September on that date.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella have announced they're expecting their first child. That's a happy milestone for the couple.

Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger is official for No Mercy. I'm curious to see what WWE does with both of them going forward.

On Wednesday, TNA moved the time of their Thursday TV taping up. They then canceled their Friday taping and announced a double taping for Saturday. Plans were and will be updated as they continue to prepare for Hurricane Matthew.

Luke Harper returned to the ring at WWE's most recent Raw-brand live event. He teamed with Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn. I would expect this would mean they're considering matching Harper up against one of those two men when he returns. Either could be a great feud.

Marty Scurll and Will Ospreay are set to start working ROH regularly come December. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them at Final Battle if they don't have other bookings lined up already for that timeframe.

John Cena could become the new co-host on Live with Kelly (Ripa). He would intend to remain as a wrestler. I don't see how he'd be able to do Wednesday mornings after Smackdown and Mondays after PPVs/live events, but hardly anything surprises me with Cena's work ethic. That'd be a pretty big deal.

Chris Jericho's fourth book is not an autobiography, but rather a self-help book. There are plenty of stupid idiots on the List of Jericho who could learn a lot from Y2J.

TNA could be looking to tape outside of Orlando if there's an ownership change. Certainly running the same audience over and over can burn them out.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That's quite the interesting request. I don't see it really changing anything unless/until someone actually made use of those brands/that footage, etc. and made a dent in the monopoly as actual competitors. A rebooted WCW or ECW could theoretically draw money, but name value and footage only gets you so far.

2. I really don't see anyone caring enough to put their own careers on the line for the sake of wrestling companies that have been dead for 15 years.

3. Well, now that she's been in WWE and gotten titles/pushes/money, there's not really much else for her to accomplish as a performer there. Once it's time to start putting others over and the world doesn't revolve around you, the dream can become as unenjoyable as any other job.

4. Don't you watch the shows? He's a damn lunatic MAGGLE! He drinks people's coffee, etc. The real Ambrose is pretty laid back as far as I know.

5. Lashley's a believable badass due to his size and legitimate background outside of pro wrestling. That's something that can't be faked.

More wrestling tomorrow.
