More on Alberto missing AAA, another Y2J book done, HoFer at NXT show, post-PPV Talking Smack, top name starting in NXT soon?, NXT headed to NYC and Boston, Paige update, Goldberg to talk WWE status, Gordon on early days of ECW, and Questions on Dixie's start in the wrestling business, Jericho's recent work, NYC venues for NXT, Tori-WWE, and ads on WWE's ring

AAA buried Alberto El Patron for missing a show they had advertised him for. That was one of the biggest AAA events of the year, so I see why they were upset.

- Alberto missed the show due to being attacked with a knife. Despite the injuries sustained, he's expected to return to the ring this weekend in the UK and continue the other dates he's advertised for. OUCH. Yeah, that's definitely a valid reason to not work a wrestling event.

Chris Jericho has finished his fourth autobiography. Your move, Mick Foley. I wouldn't be shocked if we see more books from Jericho, as I doubt this is his last run.

Bushwhacker Luke visited at an NXT live event this weekend.

There will be an episode of Talking Smack after No Mercy. The show's been good at getting buzz for Smackdown.

Austin Aries and a "mystery partner" will team as part of the Dusty Classic. I suspect we'll see them compete at the next NXT tapings. If it's who I'm thinking it is (former ROH partner Roderick Strong), they'll be quite the team to beat.

NXT will run New York City on November 17 and Boston on November 18. The NYC show will be in the 4,500-seat Theater at Madison Square Garden. That's a lofty goal for the brand, but I won't be surprised if they reach it.

Paige was backstage at Raw. She still has not been cleared to compete. It's a shame she's been on the sidelines so long.

Goldberg will be on SportsCenter Wednesday night to discuss his relationship with WWE. This is in order to push WWE 2K17, but there's the possibility of announcing something more (i.e. a return to the ring). How about a match at the Rumble and another at WM33 to call it a career?

ECW founder Tod Gordon discussed the first years of the company. Pretty cool to hear about the early days of Extreme.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. She was doing PR, I believe in the music business, and met Jeff Jarrett in Nashville. One thing led to another once the Jarretts needed financing.

2. The latest heel turn has been enjoyable. He's always a dependable worker, and he's clearly working with people who inspire him to do his best.

3. They're able to fill Barclays Center when it's the night before Summerslam, but I wouldn't expect those numbers when the brand isn't paired with a big main roster event. It looks like they still expect a bigger crowd than Hammerstein can hold, though, given their choice of venue for next month's live event.

4. If the two sides haven't made up, I can see why WWE doesn't go out of their way to mention her. She seems to have left the business behind, so I doubt she stays up at night worrying about it.

5. They'd rather advertise themselves! We did see Tapout ads in the CWC, so I wouldn't rule it out on the main roster someday.

More wrestling tomorrow.
