NJPW legend working Final Battle, Hulk-WWE update, NXT cancels NZ shows, and Questions on leaving TNA, Hollywood Hogan in WWE, booking Charlotte vs. Sasha, booking Hawkins, and unifying titles

Jushin "Thunder" Liger will compete at ROH Final Battle against an opponent to be determined. The legend keeps on giving; he'll be 52 once that show comes about.

Brooke Hogan discussed Hulk potentially returning to WWE. I'll believe it when I see it!

NXT's shows on December 5 and December 6 in New Zealand have been canceled. They're still scheduled to run Japan and Australia. Hopefully the NXT fans there will get to see live action at some point.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There are a few caveats here. One is that TNA is a better deal for some of these talents than they can get elsewhere, either due to the push they're getting or the schedule, etc. So they don't want to risk their current status in starting over somewhere else, especially if they're older. It's really easy for us on the outside to tell people to jump, and certainly some people who have jumped have done well, but those on the inside have put a lot of time and a lot of effort to get what they are now. You can argue it's illogical and that you'd have jumped a long time ago, but it's something people go through all the time.

2. It'd be weird for him to come back in that role, at least immediately. I would mark for him coming back and buying people off with his Gawker settlement money, though.

3. We'll see how things go for Charlotte and Sasha going forward. I wouldn't be shocked to see Charlotte his 16 title reigns between Raw and Smackdown before she retires, but that says more about the brand split and how much TV WWE needs to fill than anything else.

4. I didn't expect Hawkins to be anything above a Main Event/Superstars jobber. If anything, I'm surprised he got the hype he did. It's not like he's become a top-tier level guy in the past two-and-a-half years.

5. I wouldn't assume that, but we'll see what ends up happening. It would be a surprise to see them drop titles.

More wrestling tomorrow.
