ROH live event notes, Roadblock main event set?, further Corgan-TNA fallout, NXT signing to work EVOLVE, Galloway injury update, TNA beginning to tape big year-end episode, head of TNA Creative resigns, TNA audience, and Questions on how TNA's changes will affect things, freelance cruisers going forward, Molly in the Hall, Dixie's future, and live debuts

At ROH Survival of the Fittest Night 1:
- Lou Gotti Sterrett competed in a VIP Heavyweight Championship match as part of a tie-in with a local promotion.

- Panther defeated Silas Young, Will Ferrara, and Yo in a tournament match. No clue who Panther and Yo are, but what does it say that Panther beat two ROH regulars? Delirious seems willing to job his roster out to ANYONE.

- Jax Dane beat Donovan Dijak, who's actually getting a push ffs.

- Punishment Martinez replaced Alex Shelley in a tournament match. Chris Sabin said Shelley "Was jumped in the back." Not sure what that's all about.

- Sho and Misterioso Jr. were in a tournament match, but lost to Lio Rush. At least an ROH name won, but why Rush when Hangman Page is in the match, too? Page has potential beyond "flippy guy of the month."

- The attendance was reportedly in the 400-500 range.

Local advertising for the December 18 WWE Roadblock PPV shows Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns. It's unknown what the stipulation will be for that match as far as titles on the line, etc.

The New York Post ran another piece on TNA:
- Why should Corgan have to ask for the money he's owed? The loan agreement was set for November 1. That date has passed. Pay up!

- We'll see what happens with that additional $900,000. That issue still before the court.

- WHOA. The court did not determine TNA isn't insolvent. That's also still to be determined.

- Other reports were that Anthem's investment gives them 85% of company ownership, with Aroluxe having 10%, and Dixie having the remaining 5%.

- So, they say Corgan's no longer part of the company, but are also saying there are still ties between them until the money is repaid? Umm, what?

-- Billy Corgan buried the New York Post story, to the shock of no one:
Tweet 1, pointing out the case is still open.
Tweet 2, requesting repayment (since apparently they were waiting for him to ask).
Tweet 3, describing why he invested.
Tweet 4, threatening to convert the money he's owed into TNA stock.
Tweet 5, reminding us it was Anthem who offered to pay him back.
Tweet 6, discussing Anthem's dealings with TNA.
Tweet 7, clarifying his statements.
Tweet 8, expanding on Tweet 4.
Tweet 9, teasing auctioning off his TNA stock to another wrestling company. I don't know how he expects that to go, since it would only give that company 36% control of TNA - not enough to really do anything at the level of taking over.

Due to Drew Galloway's injury forcing him to miss upcoming EVOLVE shows, new NXT signing Tommy End will compete for the promotion on November 12 and 13. End will wrestle in front of the live crowd, but his WWE deal prevents him from appearing on-screen. That's still pretty cool for WWE to allow. "Selling out" has its advantages.

- Galloway says he should be good to return in a few weeks, which means he'll be back in plenty of time for TNA's next tapings.

TNA has begun filming Total Nonstop Deletion, their final Impact Wrestling episode of 2016, from the Hardy compound. So, they're going forward with those expenses since it was already in the plan at the last set of tapings. I'm curious how much TNA will invest in that content in 2017 given the new cost-consciousness from Aroluxe.

Dave Lagana, head of TNA Creative, has announced his resignation. It's expected we'll see new additions to the creative team going into the first tapings of 2017.

TNA's audience Thursday was 359,000 viewers, pretty much in line with last week. Somewhat surprisingly, all the news with lawsuits and such hasn't dented the audience.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I can definitely see things being shaken up as we go into 2017. I expect they'll want to film as cheaply as possible. What that will mean for segments like we see with the Hardys will be seen soon enough.

2. Not at all! I'd be very surprised if they stopped using Nese, Gulak, and Daivari. If anything, we'll be seeing more freelance talent once that show arrives.

3. If WWE wants her in there in 2017, I expect we'll see her there. It's possible someone like Mickie James gets the nod in 2017 instead, but I can certainly see Molly going in someday.

4. She's still around, but not in charge. She's part of their board of managers in what is being considered a role with little real power.

5. No comment!

6. I saw Mr. Kennedy's first match on Smackdown. I was definitely impressed with his finisher and thought he could be somebody, at least at the U.S. Title level.

More wrestling tomorrow.
