Interviews with Hero-Ohno/Omega/Nigel, why Enzo's in a wheelchair, WWE press, TNA music note, upcoming TNA date plans, Shaq preparing for Mania, WM34 location official, Jetsons-WWE trailer, UK bracket, WWE trademark updates, Main Event preview, Taker makes his mark after Raw, Smackdown live event note, and Questions on Miz's future, Sasha switching shows, Taker switching brands, another CWC, and Asuka dropping the title

Chris Hero/Kassius Ohno discussed a number of WWE and non-WWE topics. It's wild that people like Owens, Ambrose, Styles, and Rollins are at the top of WWE now (during times when guys like Brock and Taker aren't around). Ohno could be joining them before you know it. I look forward to seeing how he fits into things; he's changed a lot since his last NXT run.

Enzo Amore is dealing with a real knee injury. So, we're seeing Cass more or less work a singles angle for now. Enzo is still valuable as a character, so he's still on the road.

A Raw live event got press.

TNA shot down paying for or otherwise using music brought in from Billy Corgan. That's probably a move to keep things in-house and otherwise easy to handle.

TNA plans on running Orlando during WM33 weekend, possibly as a joint venture with another promotion. That will be the first live event in roughly 18 months.

TNA's live event touring could begin this summer. Hopefully that helps the company move forward.

Shaquille O'Neal is working out ahead of facing Big Show at WM33. I have fairly low expectations for their clash, but both of them are certainly putting in effort to be in the best shape they can be for the match.

Wrestlemania 34 has been officially announced for New Orleans on April 8, 2018. It will be interesting to see who ends up on that card. Taker? Angle? Goldberg? One or both Hardys? I'm fairly sure HHH and Brock will be working that night if they're physically able. We'll see who else will join them.

WWE's Jetsons film has a trailer. Big Show getting a monster push as World Champion 100 years from now wouldn't surprise me at all.

Kenny Omega did a big Sports Illustrated interview:
- I'm glad the loss means something. That was a BIG match. Maybe his next goal is to WIN the Tokyo Dome main event?

- Good for him to put Okada over. Okada's quite the talent.

- I don't blame him for not wanting to hang around and job after a huge match.

- I don't think he can compete at the Rumble, unless he works something out with NJPW to get out of his contract before then. And why on Earth would they do that?

- Cena vs. Omega would be interesting.

- He's got the world talking. Smart move, even if he just ends up staying in NJPW.

WWE's UK Title tournament bracket has been released. It will be really interesting to see what the future holds for that title. As far as I know, the plan is to launch a regular show featuring UK talents, but nothing is set in stone.

- Nigel McGuinness promoted the tournament in a WWE.com interview.

WWE has applied for an XFL trademark for clothing and merchandise. I would mark out for XFL merch being worn on TV.

WWE has dropped its attempt to trademark Just Bring It after it was opposed by Nike.

Main Event this week will feature Darren Young/Sin Cara vs. Shining Stars as well as Mustafa Ali vs. Brian Kendrick. It wouldn't hurt to have a Smackdown match on there every so often. It's not like some of them are doing anything else.

The Undertaker delivered chokeslams to Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho after Raw ended. I'm curious to see what's left for Taker as a wrestler; they could definitely give him a grand finale this year.

The Usos worked as "faces" on live events this weekend as part of a 12-man tag match, but that was likely just so there would be an even number of participants. American Alpha were preoccupied with the Wyatt Family on the shows.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'd personally like to see Bryan call up one of his indie friends to put Miz in his place, but I don't think that's what's in the cards. I expect he's going to hang out at IC Title level with Ambrose for now, but they could also have Bryan sic Kane on him since we haven't seen him a lot lately.

2. If we see a few names shuffled around this summer, I highly expect WWE to separate Charlotte and Sasha after they've faced off so much.

3. Taker explained no one tells him what to do and he'll show up wherever he wants, whenever he wants, so I guess he's a free agent who calls his own shots!

4. All of what was said in 3 plus wanting him in New Orleans ahead of the WM34 announcement since that's where he lost The Streak.

5. It's possible they do a cruiserweight invitational or something with a focus on international talent, but it's going to be tough to fill the ranks given how many people are already signed for the division.

6. It will depend on when they want to bring Asuka up! If they suddenly decide they want to use her on Raw or Smackdown, they might not end her title reign. Ember Moon has a shot at being the one to beat Asuka, but the Empress of Tomorrow has really been built as someone who's going to be very hard to dethrone. They'll have to get behind Ember strong if she's going to be the one to take the title from her.

More wrestling tomorrow.
