Main Event Reax - 2/3/17, Omega back to ROH soon, Interviews with JR/Percy/Cody, Chamber matches on YouTube, LU blocking Penta's exit?, Rollins health update, potential HHH WM33 opponent, Carters done with Impact, Jarrett's Impact return in the works, Impact management update, Impact audience, WWE injury return set, and Questions on the ROH announcing change, Shaq teaming with Show, Kane's status, Rush's ROH future, and Don West returning to commentary

-- Main Event:
- Cara vs. Dallas:
Bo's going to have to combat SC's agility.

SC can really bump and move.

Bo's offense is simple, but effective.

Cara doing a lot of flying around for a warmup match for the crowd. Maybe that's why he's on this show so much.

Wow. Cara did a lot better than I expected him to. Cruisers usually have to lie down, brother.

- New Day vs. Titus/S. Stars:
Good to see Xavier in action.

I like the teamwork of the unicorns.

Hahahahaha great triple abdominal stretch spot. They're havin fun, Maggle!

Titus is pretty solid for what he does.

Nothing really wrong with the Stars. I've just seen them do pretty much the same stuff for years now. At least they had some somewhat interesting characters as Los Matadores.

Kofi's always fun to watch fly around.

Nice ending and nice work overall.

Kenny Omega will work the ROH/NJPW shows on February 26 and 27. He is also expected to work U.S. dates for ROH this year, too. The company could really use a fresh important player. Having some NJPW names in the mix soon will be good.

Jim Ross did a Q&A in Orlando:
- I'm glad he's doing well post-WWE.

- It makes sense for him to want to do commentary his own way instead of trying to just translate what the other commentators did for WK11.

- I think there's been something of a revival of interest in wrestling, at least for styles of wrestling outside of what we had gotten used to in WWE.

WWE has uploaded Elimination Chamber matches to their YouTube channel ahead of next Sunday's big event.

Percy Watson discussed his NXT return:
- I really liked Percy as a wrestler. I wish we could have seen more from him. He played off Darren and Titus pretty well and could have teamed with either at a time when they were kind of floundering.

- It was a surprise seeing him return to commentary. I wonder whose call that was.

LU has applied to trademark the name Penta 0M, which the now former Pentagon Jr. was looking to use after leaving AAA. Penta works as Pentagon Black in LU, so there shouldn't be any issues on that front. We'll see if this leads to a fallout where he doesn't return for a potential S4 and ends up working someWWhEre else.

Seth Rollins is not on this weekend's live events due to his injuries. WWE will update his status on Raw. If he does miss WM33, Shane McMahon is a likely candidate to face Triple H. That could be fun with the bells and whistles thrown in, but I can't say I'm looking forward to another McMahon angle. Somewhat surprisingly, there hasn't been any mention of Kurt Angle wrestling HHH, or anyone else for that matter. We'll see if that changes.

Dixie Carter and Serg Salinas are believed to have quietly left Impact Wrestling. Dixie has left the Impact offices. It looks like they're going to be going back to working on musical endeavors in Nashville. This wasn't altogether unexpected, although the official word was Dixie was staying on in an official capacity at Anthem. We'll see how this shakeup affects the company in the months to come.

Jeff Jarrett will likely become executive producer of Impact Wrestling, replacing John "Big" Gaburick. Gaburick will likely move into a different role in the company. Jarrett is continuing his work with GFW, so it's possible those assets will overlap. They might as well make use of some of that roster at Impact Wrestling.

Cody talked about missing WM33 and more:
- Cody is definitely on a big journey outside WWE.

- Interesting to tease Brandi coming to ROH.

- He did a lot in WWE. I see why he wants some new environments.

- Impact has generally been pretty solid. There are a few people I don't care much for, but there's also some really good action.

- Interesting tease about more ROH/Impact crossover. That could help both sides if done well.

- Cole, the Bucks, and Omega are definitely known to diehard wrestling fans, but they're not known to the large portion of WWE-only fans. On that note, it's entirely possible we see Cole come to NXT/WWE this summer.

Impact Wrestling drew 299,000 fans for Open Fight Night. That's a very slight drop from last week.

Tamina is advertised for a Smackdown live event in March, so she could be headed there as a babyface shortly. Emmalina is allegedly coming to Raw someday, so I guess it evens out.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Apparently he's still going to be NJPW's announcer, so ROH will have to work around their dates if they do use him on that kind of deal. Ian Riccaboni would be the obvious choice. Whether they'll pair whomever it is with a color commentator is also up in the air.

2. It's not a bad idea, but I think the spectacle is in seeing two massive people go against each other. The outcome is more up in the air than it would be if they teamed up for a squash. Shaq and Show are definitely both working really hard to be in good shape for the match, but it's entirely possible Show's still winding his career down and this is just going out on a high note, physical fitness-wise.

3. I'm very surprised he didn't work the Rumble, since that's pretty much a staple for him. I don't know why they're not using one of their most recognizable assets unless he's just resting up and looking to come back in better shape like Show did.

4. From the sounds of things, he won't be working both shows! It's possible he signs a new deal, but making plans for other promotions would cast that in doubt.

5. So far, it's just a short-term gig to help out on the merchandise end. We'll see what happens as Jeff Jarrett gains more control in the company.

More wrestling tomorrow.
