Cardi B talks wrestling, Nikki Bella up for Nick award, Interviews with Cena/Flair/Stephanie/Spears, Becky meets fan whose house burned down, wrestling at licensing expo, Aries set for another MLW show, MLW looking at international deals, new MLW podcasts, NXT vignettes in the works, AEW signs former WWE name, new Fyter Fest match, DON competitor trademarks name, SDL audience, WWE working with Jets again, Slammiversary match official, NXT remembers Pulse victims, former WWE/Impact star hit with harrassment claim, NWA uploads classic Dusty match, and Questions on blaming Goldberg for SSD, Lacey's character being sexist, why WWE pushes Shane, and Brock not cashing in before SSD

Cardi B discussed formerly being a wrestling fan: Tweet 1 Tweet 2 Tweet 3. That's pretty cool.

- WWE and a number of its stars responded to the tweets, leaving out the "former" fan part.

Nikki Bella has been nominated for the Kids' Choice Sports Awards as Queen of Swag.

John Cena spoke to Entertainment Weekly about how WWE prepared him to host "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?"

Becky Lynch met a fan whose house burned down, taking with it all his wrestling memorabilia. That's a really tough turn of events for him.

WWE, NJPW, and Masked Republic all exhibited at the 2019 Licensing Expo. This was NJPW's first time at the convention.

- WWE's licensing reach was profiled.

Austin Aries is set for MLW's July 25 TV taping. I don't believe he's signed a full-time contract with the group.

MLW is close to signing two international TV deals. That can definitely be a big boost for the group.

MLW has launched a new podcast called "Inside Major League Wrestling," recorded backstage at MLW shows. That's a cool idea.

NXT is preparing vignettes for Killian Dain and the Outsiders (Dan Matha and Riddick Moss, managed by the former Robbie E). It will be good to see some fresh/returning names featured.

AEW has officially signed Shawn Spears. That's not an unexpected move. I look forward to seeing how he fits in there.

Fyter Fest has added Riho vs. Yuka Sakazaki vs. Nyla Rose. I look forward to seeing those names again.

Sunny Daze has trademarked that wrestling name. Notably he hasn't been signed by AEW, so he may or may not be a regular.

Ric Flair was recently on Busted Open discussing Goldberg vs. The Undertaker and more.

Smackdown Live drew 1.93 million viewers Tuesday night.

WWE stars will be at New York Jets' December 8 Kid's Day. Good to see that.

Slammiversary XVII has officially added Rob Van Dam vs. Moose. That match will be important for Impact's future direction.

NXT had a moment of silence for the three-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting. That's very classy.

Stephanie McMahon discussed WWE's goal to have a women's match in Saudi Arabia. WWE definitely pushed for that to occur at Super ShowDown.

Tyrus has been served with a sexual harassment complaint from a fellow FOX coworker, which led to him being moved to a new web show there. We'll see if this ends up costing him that hosting gig.

Shawn Spears discussed turning down a new WWE deal to go to AEW and more. I don't blame him for taking another chance somewhere else.

NWA has uploaded Dusty Rhodes vs. Gino Hernandez from Houston Wrestling.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. While Undertaker certainly didn't put in the best performance of his career, I put the blame on Goldberg getting concussed in a spot that shouldn't have been approved in the first place. I actually enjoy Goldberg and his matches for what they are; it's nothing against him personally.

2. Lacey actually came up with the character herself! The way she's described it, the character can throw down in the ring AND raise/feed a family. She's definitely meant to be a strong woman who doesn't back down.

3. Shane's also from a time when millions more people watched the show and he's had a strong following for his work ethic for a long time. It's just that I think now people have more or less reached their limit in seeing him being a prominent part of things.

4. Brock presumably wanted to win on a bigger stage and get a bigger pay day for doing it. He's arrogant enough to assume he can win the title at any time. No complaints here, other than the somewhat contrived reasons to prolong him cashing in until SSD.

5. WWE would likely argue, as they likely would have with Brock's wins, that Shane winning now makes it mean more when someone finally does put him in his place. It's notable the Miz and Roman losses were due to flukes, interference, or some other shenanigan(s). All that said, WWE is definitely struggling to showcase new stars in a lot of cases.

More wrestling tomorrow.
