Double or Nothing is expected to be the all-time most successful wrestling PPV to not come from WWE or WCW. The previous record was ECW Heat Wave 1999. That's massive for a promotion with no TV exposure.

AEW's PPV plans are for four PPV events a year as well as a number of smaller streaming shows like Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen.

Jon Moxley will be allowed to work NJPW once AEW starts weekly TV, but AEW will have priority on bookings. I'm interested to see how that all works out.

Chris Jericho will wrestle at Fight for the Fallen. He isn't expected to be at Fyter Fest. I'm curious if Jericho will face Moxley in July.

WWE's side of the Jon Moxley criticisms is that they saw him as someone who could never be satisfied, as he was often critical of his creative direction. He was definitely given a lot of less-than-stellar direction, but of course WWE wanted him as a cartoon character rather than an edgy fighter.

- WWE didn't "bury" Moxley on the way out of the company because they feared it would give him more sympathy when he left. It does look like WWE's starting to realize they're not invincible and there is a notable level of fan discontent.

- WWE was interested in doing a Shield farewell tour in Europe, but Moxley turned down the brief contract extension.

- Moxley was paid $500 for his final WWE match on the WWE Network special. Holy shit, what???

Saudi Arabia made the call on not using Sami Zayn, rather than WWE deciding not to use him. The Saudis definitely control that relationship!

The Lucha Bros have been announced for The Crash's June 15 event. It was expected the duo would become exclusive to AAA in Mexico. That's still possible afterward. AEW is also expected to try to sign them to U.S. exclusivity, which would be big for AEW, Impact, and MLW.

- Matt Taven and Bandido are set to wrestle at the same show. ROH is working with CMLL, who are also working with The Crash.

NJPW is looking to appeal to more children, potentially through merchandise ideas. They've got to be careful with their expansion not alienating those who support the product's current iteration.

Silver King had a public tribute in his home town, with 3,000 people attending. That's great!

OWE is looking to tour in the UK. They're really becoming important lately.

Impact is expected to move to a more prominent TV home in the fall. That would definitely be a positive change for the company.

AEW is expected to have a Canadian TV deal announced shortly after their TNT debut date is finalized. They've got a lot going for them very, very soon after being formed.

Chris Jericho has said he canceled his Starrcast II appearance a month beforehand, once he learned it would air on FITE.

- Conrad Thompson has said the two sides worked something out to where Jericho would essentially do live what he did in the video that aired during the appearance. However, Jericho informed Conrad of family plans the day before Double or Nothing and sent in the video as a make-good. That definitely makes him look better than the initial feeling he completely blew things off without Conrad knowing.

AEW has signed Hikaru Shida to a full-time deal. She had previously been signed for a set number of dates. I look forward to seeing more of her.

California is considering a bill regarding the classification of employees vs. independent contractors, which would of course affect wrestling companies.

Sasha Banks recently met with Vince McMahon, with the situation said to be improving. I'm glad the two sides are speaking.

Smackdown Live is set for Spain on November 9 and November 10.

NXT UK is expected to sign A-Kid, originally from Spain. He's definitely got a good resume.

Road Dogg is currently a coach in NXT. It's expected he'll join creative there. I'm curious how that will play out.

The 24/7 Championship is being discussed as being defended on social media and at the WWE Performance Center. I'd love to see WWE have fun with the concept.

Sami Zayn's AEW comment on Raw may or may not have been approved beforehand, as different people in WWE believe different narratives regarding the segment. The feeling is that the line could have been inserted to make the segment seem like he had said something unapproved in order to get buzz. Notably, pro-AEW and anti-WWE signs were confiscated at this week's TV tapings, so WWE is strongly aware of the competition.

Chris Jericho spoke to Busted Open about Double or Nothing and more. I'd definitely like to see more stifled talents switch promotions and rejuvenate their careers.

Sonya Deville was recently on AfterBuzz TV's Acting Class Weekly.

Joey Ryan has announced he's remaining on the independent scene after turning down offers from NXT and AEW. I would expect TNT (and definitely WWE) would want him to change what he's known for. I can see why, as long as he's making good money, he wants to control his destiny and bookings.

WWE streamed their Performance Center Combine on social media platforms ahead of Takeover:XXV.

MVP is on Edge and Christian's latest podcast.

GLOW's third season will debut August 9.

ROH will do the Top Prospect Tournament again this summer. It will be interesting to see whom they recruit.

Summer Supercard will feature a CMLL trios match and Nick Aldis defending the NWA World Championship.

ROH has announced a TV taping in Georgia on August 24 and an HonorClub event on August 25 in Tennessee. The latter will be the final ROH event at the former TNA Asylum.

ROH has banned The Kingdom from being ringside for Matt Taven's championship defenses. We'll see how that affects his matches.

Villain Enterprises is adding a fourth member. It's possible ROH is preparing for Scurll to leave for AEW.

Josh Woods is joining the I Believe In Wrestling training school in Florida. He's fairly new to the business, but he has great accolades.

Ronda Rousey's "WWE 24" episode will debut after Raw.

Shinsuke Nakamura spoke in Singapore. Seth vs. Shinsuke would be interesting. I do wonder what he'll do for five more years in WWE.

Kofi Kingston returning to Ghana was promoted by that country's tourism authority. Kofi met the country's president while there.

WWE's licensing reach was profiled. That's one of their most important reasons for staying PG.

Paul Heyman has stated Brock Lesnar will cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Raw against Seth Rollins. I'm curious how that will plan out. I expect Brock at Super ShowDown in some fashion either way.

Mick Foley is selling a special edition of his famous Cactus Jack shirt with proceeds benefiting Ashley Massaro's daughter. That's really great.

Heath Slater was interviewed by a baseball website for some reason. Slater's another guy who would be a fun addition to NXT. As for Rhyno, he's taking indie bookings and WWE's removed him from their Superstars page. He's leaving so he can get more work on a freer schedule.

Matt Striker spoke on MLB Network as a fantasy baseball expert of all things.

AEW All Out will be headlined by Chris Jericho vs. Hangman Page for the AEW Championship. That's a BIG opportunity for Page.

The Authors of Pain are scheduled for Smackdown Live live events later this month for their first matches since Akam's knee surgery. I absolutely look forward to seeing them again.

Tyler Breeze promoted Takeover: XXV:
- I want to see more talent cycled back into NXT.

- I maintain moving to a brand with no U.S. television exposure is a downgrade. I'm glad he's there, but it's not as prominent as Raw or Smackdown Live.

- Good sell of the new Tyler Breeze.

Jon Moxley spoke about his AEW debut in Nevada.

Chris Jericho spoke to ESPN about how other WWE talents want the freedom Moxley is getting. The game could really be changing soon, although of course AEW can't and shouldn't pick up every WWE name who's looking for something new.

Double or Nothing was discussed on Bill Simmons' podcast. It's amazing what level of press AEW is getting.

Stone Cold's podcast is returning June 18. I'd love to hear him discuss AEW.

LAX was profiled by Fight Network in a long documentary. Good to see that team put on the map.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Some of it's that they've signed a good deal of people and they wanted to get a lot of them on the card, and some of it's that they want to showcase tag teams more than other promotions do. The joshi match was a special attraction and they wanted to feature a solid number of talents there.

2. I'd say ROH showcases most of its best talents. Josh Woods might be the one guy I'd like to see more of that they rarely use.

3. I don't see anyone rushing into it. Once it becomes more of the norm, I'm sure WWE and others will look into it.

4. I'm sure AEW is going to make an effort to be different from other places, with the key executives being current talent. We'll see how they navigate that in the years to come.

5. Brock just shows up and smashes people. He leaves the details to Heyman. Brock doesn't watch the show or care about anything but making money and winning matches.

More wrestling tomorrow.
